Luca Pistachio is a premium brand of cigarettes that caters to a high class of customer (high maintenance girl). It sees another lower class company with a larger consumer base and decides it will lower its standards to apply to a lower class of customer(girl at bar) in turn increasing the consumer base. However, in doing so an even lower class of consumer(bartender) begins to gain access and doesn't care so much for the sales pitch. It becomes just another company ultimately killing the idea of Luca pistachio(premium). Leading to the rise of a new premium company using the same tactics the other had forsaken
I like that interpretation, except the cigarettes were always Ralph Styles Ultra. Luca Pistachio was the diamonds. And the bartender pretended to die. And the bartender rested his head on the wife's neck. And the lower class girl was pitching the supposedly new, supposedly high class cigarettes. I think it's some sort of social commentary. It's a destruction of the celebration of high status alpha males replaced for one woman by the beta male who is taking the role of the girl and for the other woman by a woman, and perhaps significantly (you'd have to ask the writers), a black woman.
@@mattmexor2882 I like that interpretation as well, in mine however, I’m referring to the people themselves, the guy Luca Pistachio is the representation of the company, the cigarettes are just the product, the woman at the end would represent a new premium cigarette company
