You are definitely an inspiration! I have a son that is going to be 2 years old(autism) I have so many projects but making the time is very difficult. Keep up the good work , looking forward to the next project.

Love Revere Pewter! Good choice! I have painted my LR, hallway and sun porch in this color, and greens aquas and Turquoise colored accessories look amazing up against RP. It has a old world feel about it.
Ha, im fixing to paint my kitchen walls the Villa Grey. We have the open concept, but i painted our entryway, living, and diningroom the special peach. But since the dining and living run together there will be an accent wall of the Villa Grey that will separate but also flow the two smoothly, but the Villa Grey will flow to the kitchen. I am currently trying to figure out what to do with our older style countertops and cabinets. Cant afford to gut it, but i can sure dress it up
The color sample names were un-readable until I set the playback quality to HD (the highest offered)..then I could read them easily. I agree about getting a sample to try out first no matter how confident you are with the sample on the color chart. I got a gallon of B.M.A. and though I'm not certain I think that I could have gotten a better shade of white.
You could have somebody build an addition on your cabinet that would blend in and take it all the way to the ceiling. Even if you just had them enclosed the area and not make it a functional cabinet.
Hi, first time watching your videos I love your enthusiasm and was wondering if this revere pewter is from sherwin Williams were in the process of painting our cabinets and having a hard time deciding on a neutral color .
Hi heather! I’m going to make my next video with all the preparation steps that I take to paint them. With laminate you 💯 need to use the bin primer and a premium paint, otherwise it will not adhere to the laminate well!
Do u think the revere pewter is too close to the villa grey color? Video just makes things look different than they do in person, so i have to ask. Im thinking of doing the amazon kit to paint them to look marble, but gonna use the gray. Villa Grey on my kitchen walls, do u think the revere pewter??
Sry, i meant doing the amazon kit on my countertops for the marble look, and my kitchen walls villa grey, do u think the revere pewter will flo well if i put all of those together. I love your style and we have the same taste, so im pretty sure if u like it then it will work well for me
Hi, can you please give me an update...how are the cabinets holding up? Is the paint still in good condition? Would you change anything? We are about to paint our cabinets. Thank you
Confused over the choice. You said that you didn't want to light green because it would make the cabinets look shorter and that you want an off-white, but then went with a color that is a similar saturation as the first sample
Just to help some of your viewers, don’t put sample paint on the cabinets, it’s absolute garbage paint. That’s why it’s sample paint. Also, there are much better primers for cabinet undercoating. I finish cabs professionally
@@tennisbabe50 If you are doing by brush/roll, I recommend INSLX Stix primer. Dries fast, sands incredibly well for a water based. Watch for tannin bleed as this is waterborne and not the best stain blocking. If you can spray, BIN Shelac primer. But bear in mind it is solvent based so need a designated pump. Excellent adhesion, excellent sand ability, excellent stain blocking
Behr also does a Swiss Coffee color. I'm obsessed with Swiss Coffee for cabinet color and Dove White on the walls. Or Swiss Coffee everywhere.
I’ve been using Beher Swiss coffee for 50 years, still love it.

Do you have an Instagram account I can follow to learn more about colors?
I love pale oak - it is my go to wall colour with cloud white baseboards!

Thank you! I find it to be a great neutral that is timeless. I hope it’s turns out as I envision!
Is it a sherwin Williams paint?
Love the choice. The darker will pop and not look dingy next to white ? walls.
Love your energy! Just painted a wall of my garage Swiss coffee!
Love the color you choose
I found you through one of your shorts and came right over to subscribe and start watching your content! ❤
Welcome!! than you for being here! Please let me know what type of content you'd like to see more of!
Beautiful choice!
Loved this!
Great work!!!
Wow! I know it’s a commitment and you are very sure before you choose. Great choice IMHO❣️

Please please please lose the “music”
I love BM pale oak & revere pewter! Also love SW alabaster.

What was the color you started with before trying to paint over
Would pick the green!
I prefer my cabinets sprayed. I just did my kitchen in highland by SW and I love it.

Hi Beatrice. The revere pewter is from Benjamin Moore. It's the Advanced paint in a satin finish. Hope this helps!
I love the color you chose will you mind telling me if you went with semi gloss or satin ?
It's revere Pewter Advance in a satin finish
The original color look good on screen. I would have saved myself the work and just kept it.
Hi, I was wondering how your cabinets were holding up? Do you have a lot of chips?
Getting ready to do this on my laminant cabinets any tips? They are currently origanal and dark forest green! Thanks for all of the inperation !

Hi! This sounds like a great follow up video to make! I will get it filmed and to you asap!
The pewter looks just like what you already have
I was thinking same thing
My goodness that’s a real task huh?

I turned the volume off. The repetitive beat of music in the background was distracting.

That is definitely a good point. I used a spare cabinet that I wasn't going to be using. What primer would you recommend?
In the process of doing cabinets. I have 3 sets, and have used two primers, neither one I like. Can I ask your recommendation? Thanks

Everyone’s is going to look different though, with the light in their kitchen.
Thanks!
Music annoyingly distracting and so unnecessary….
Everyone's painting their cabinets, until wood comes back in style. ;-)
Please stop the annoying music
Do you think most people prefer no music? Genuinely curious so I can improve my videos
@@flippinggorgeous Sorry if I was a little harsh …. It’s very distracting for me …. It may be just fine for others

The island stain color is meh, will be outdated in no time.
You are way, way, over brushing your paint…even if this is for color only…
The perfect cabinet color is the color of the solid wood it’s made out of. Not painted white plastic or particleboard. How tacky.
