  • A day out digging at one of our favorite spots for Almandine Garnets somewhere in the remote desert of California. Watch along as we collect lots of surface finds washed clean from the rain while we walk up to our dig site. Once we remove a few rocks the garnets pour out of the hillside.
At the end of the video we announce this months "Monthly Crystal Giveaway WINNER!" - Sign up on our patreon link below:

Beautiful garnets! Gorgeous! Exceptional color and clarity! I'm so happy to have found this video. I enjoyed watching the garnets being discovered up close, and seeing them being turned over when being held with the sunlight on them. I enjoyed hearing the breeze, and also seeing the garnets true beauty revealed as they were brushed off, and then finally cleaned. Very satisfying.

I’m pretty sure they do their homework before going out to get the gems. First they research what to look for, known locations for the gems they are seeking. Then they make sure they have the proper equipment for moving big rocks, long, long hikes, food, water, camping gear so they can dig for several days. I have seen a video of theirs where they had a truck camper, I think. I’m sure they love what they do, but also treat it like a business.

You can also find them in Delaware in a certain park. I have a few you just walk along and look down once in a while. You just need a good eye and look for anything that has even a hint of red to it. There are also mineral pits nearby that date way back. Those things are loaded with a lot of different things.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! My brother had been to the hill with a friend in the 70s i think the peyote they found out there played a part in memory loss of its location hahahaha! YOUR IN MY DESERT YOU GUYS!!! hahaa! For the last 5 years him and i would go searching for it again but no such luck the few times we got out there!. bummed about it in more ways than one . my old bro passed in feb. and with me being almost 59 and a desert rat! hahaha im still game to find that hill! but i cant go alone! so yes bumbed!!! HOWEVER? i could convince my other bro to explore it with me if you could pm me a hint of info please! hes not into desert adventures and treasure hunting like me but he would keep me safe out there while i played in my glory :) my last trip out there my old bro and i did find another treasure that day it was the biggest and oldest joshua tree we have seen in this whole mojave desert! and we have been all over it! all by itself standing in perfection and no human added disfigurations on it! was amazing and we never gave its location out to anyone either so ill understand if you wont pm me a hint. sad yes but.... ill be okay with time! lol great video! great colors!! my favorite color in opals out near red rock as well

I went to this garnet mine up by Herkimer NY once thinking I'd be mining. ..get there and it's guided tour/"mining"...Wich really was these people telling us the history of the mine (wich was pretty interesting )and then handing out pasta strainers, spoons and watering pots .....the mining part consisted of sifting thru old tailings and getting the smallest garnets you ever seen and all the spots you knew had good pockets and were prolly packed with goodies were off limits and to top it all off they only gave you like 30 minutes to "mine"....needless to say I'm jealous of that spot you're at

So is this on a claim owned by you? Or can anyone go there? I would love to be able to dig for material like that, but Washington isn't exactly the best state to find garnets. We do have Ellensburg blue agate though. (Mojave desert right?)

Their blood would turn into iron and be powder in form stains but it would not turn into a crystal. The Giants were washed out in the flood and all of their fluids would’ve been washed away or left to drip where they are. No, these crystals or not the blood of ancient giants, though those giant certainly did exist on this planet. He shows examples of the blood and what it looks like. It is never in the form of a garnet Crystal or anything like that. Good try kid
