Indeed. He went along with Jafar's plan to capture and murder Prince Ali, who he believed was a respectable visiting royal who has done nothing wrong. He knew it was wrong to do so, cause Jafar ordered "Make sure he's never found". So it's not like Jafar might have duped him by falsely claiming Ali had committed a crime or something. Compared to the rest of the series, this is actually a bit of an out of character moment for Razoul where he was an actual criminal, in contrast to the rest of the time where he was an anti-hero.
From what I've heard over the years was that Mozenrath and Aladdin were supposed to be half brothers sharing the same father Cassim. At least that has been the rumor I've heard.
The rumor came about because Mozenrath was originally supposed to be the villain of the third movie. After some complications contacting Jonathan Brandis (Moz's voice actor), they decided to go with the story of Aladdin's father instead. Since nobody knows what the originally story was going to be, that brought about the rumor that maybe the original story was about family too. It definitely would have been interesting to see where that went!
I would have placed Iago more over to the more benevolent of this categorization. Because it's thanks to him that Jafar was finally defeated and he's no longer the complete jerk as previously seen in the first film either.
Yeah, I could see putting him in like 12th or 11th, but the same would have to be done for the Cave of Wonders because that too I think is not as bad as the two that came before it.
Actually i believe Mozenrath is more evil than Jafar because: 1. He betrayed his master/step-father Destane by stealing his power and turned him into a mamlock he abuses for fun, despite saying Destane was like a father to him. This proves Mozenrath never loved his step-father at all. 2. He treats his minion Xerxes like a punching bag. 3. He unleashed a monster into the streets of Agrabah to test Aladdin, not caring if anyone gets hurt or killed. 4. He tried to mind-control the monstrous "Thirdack" beast into becoming his attack dog, and unleashing it on any kingdom he likes. In addition, he also kidnapped Genie to force Aladdin to get the collar on the beast. 5. Once he got the Thirdack he knew that the creature couldn't survive without eating magic and didn't care if it was dying. 6. He kidnapped Aladdin and used him as a bargaining chip for Genie. Tried to harness Genie's power and attempted to wipe out a rescue party of Agrabah soldiers. He also threatened to kill Aladdin if his demands weren't given. Even if he got what he wanted, he would have betrayed them. When his plan failed he pulled his minion Xerxes in with him as Jafar did with Iago. 7. He hired the Mukhtar to bring Genie to him and almost succeeded in taking his powers, almost killing him. During the episode he is also responsible for Iago, Abu, Jasmine, and Aladdin to be trap in a medallion, the Mulhtar had. While he did pay The Mulkhtar, it was later revealed that he was also responsible for almost getting the Mukhtar killed by his own killer plant, making him dishonorable. 8. He used a dangerous magical being called Shirocco (the Wind Jackal) to try and decimate multiple kingdoms. 9. He left Aladdin and his friends to slowly die in the light of a magnified sun. 10. He tried to wipe out all of Agrabah and enslave the rest of the kingdoms with a threat to wipe them out as well if they didn't bow to him. 11. He traps many people of Agrabah under a substance called "Black Sand" and replaces them with mamlocks. 12. When his black sand scheme failed, he attempted to kill Aladdin, despite the street-rat trying to save his life. 13. He turns a two-bit-crook called Amin Damoola into a mamlock for the rest of his life when he failed to give Mozenrath the Sultan transformed into a golden statue. 14. He enslaved dozens of Sprites against their will to dig through the sands of the dessert in search of an artifact without stopping, leading many to nearly dying out of exhaustion. 15. He tried to kill all the Sprites when they turned against him and tried to use a sun to burn everyone that doesn't submit to him alive. 16. He kidnapped Genie and tried to use him to create the Philosopher's Stone. But when Genie didn't have enough power, he also turned Genie's girlfriend Eden into a living battery and double crossed her. This slowly drains them of their life energy to fuel a Philosopher's Stone furnace. When Khartoum doubled crossed him Mozenrath tried to take back the stone but he almost lost his life and briefly his magic although It's highly likely Mozenrath was going to double cross Khartoum himself anyway as he only wanted Khartoum's power. 17. Tries one last time to hijack Aladdin's body and destroy his spirit to rule the world when he learns he's slowly dying due to overusing his magic gauntlet. When the plan ended up making Mozenrath's spirit part of Aladdin, Mozenrath simply played along and attempted to betrayed them to take over Aladdin's body forever.
There are so much more villains in the Aladdin franchise. You could do a list of the most to least powerfull... Ayamaghul, Sadira, Haroud, the Genie hunter ...
Star herself would actually be kind of low, considering all the messed up stuff she did. All of Echo Creek would be above her, as well as River and Kelly.
Little know fact (or not it is kind known) Mozenrath was meant to be reviled as Aladdin's brother in the 3rd movie. But they changed it to his father last minute. Who else would have loved to see THAT movie over the one we got?
For me, Mozenrath is no.1 villan. Mozenrath has shown to be somehow even more power hungry and merciless than Jafar. He literary sacrificed his right hand to obtain power, and actually managed to have his own kingdom.
I agree 100% he’s definitely killed a lot of people and he also turned them into zombies (pretty much)… not to mention the amount of magical beasts he’s controlled to do his bidding… that’s pretty impressive especially for his age.
Wait a second how the heck did Jasmine fall under Aladdin when it comes to good to evil that do literally lie to her and she sees through all the crap and still found ways to still like this guy.
Anybody remember that amazing episode in which Hades and Jafar meet? Hades has got to be one of the very few Disney villains that can show Jafar up and was even able to order him about, but that's not surprising since he's ya know Hades and therefore in charge of all the Underworld residents including whatever ghosts come his way like Jafar. Maleficent, Chernabog, and the Horned King are the other three Disney villains who very much can order Jafar around. At least I'm pretty sure they could.
So, Gazeem the 3-minute thief killed by the Cave of Wonders gets a spot, but not the recurring TV-series characters Thundra (3 episodes, and Iago's love interest), Eden (2 episodes, Genie's love interest) and Fasir (6 episodes, a great prophet cyclops, and Mirage's former boyfriend).
Realistically, even with minimal screen time, Gazeem left a far bigger impression on audiences over the last thirty years than those others had a chance to approach. Having one of the most brutal deaths in Disney history will do that, especially if it's right after your introduction.
Much better than when he of Wicked Binge said that Jerry was good and Mufasa was much closer to evil (as a father and as a person/character in general). Then again, that’s probably just a nitpick not meant to be taken seriously.
@@NicholasRSims I think Chris is more evil than Mal. And there are a few rivals to Dawn, like Ella and Owen who have never said a mean thing in their lives. Even when Ella's heartbroken, she is very honest about Dave being interested in Sky.
You left out other villains from the series including Jafar's sister Nasira, who appeared and was only mentioned in the game Aladdin: Nasira's revenge.
The character transformation is actually one of the reasons why Iago's my favourite one. Plus, even during the first movie, I always did see some potential within him.
Aladdin was ranked way too high on this list. Yes he’s generous, but he’s also a compulsive liar. You can say it’s because of his life as a thief but that seems like a cop out to me, he does a lot of lying for selfish reasons. His entire plan for making Jasmine fall in love with him revolves around lying to her forever. That’s pretty bad. And yes he did free the Genie... eventually. He was going to keep his third wish to selfishly perpetuate his Prince lie, and his willingness to do so allowed Jafar to get the lamp and rise to power. It was only after making this huge mistake that he made good on his deal to free the Genie. He should at least be below Jasmine, but if you ask me he’s on par with the Sultan and maybe worse
I was thinking the same. He is a thief, he refused to free Genie, I think (I could be remembering wrong on this one) he might have been cruel to Iago and Sadira at times.I honestly think Jasmine should have been higher. She hasn't done worst than him.
Aladdin was a penniless, homeless, parent-less kid who spent his whole life being treated as subhuman and needing to rely on lies and thievery to survive. He didn't lie to be malicious. He was using the survival mechanism that had become second nature to him.
@@SharkXOmega You would blame a hungry person for stealing food to survive? Aladdin had no choice in the matter. Remember the song? "Gotta eat to live, gotta steal to eat, otherwise we'd get along."
you realize he'll have to watch 9 seasons, 6 films, several hours of animated specials, read dozens of books, and read a hundred comics, for a list of like 400 characters? ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL THE MAN???
Even in this version, he’s not too great. I’d have put him between Sultan and Abu, which would be roughly the least evil of the evil half if the TV show weren’t included.
If they do that they might as well do the entire Total Drama series and maybe even Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race, and that might be too long of a video for them to do. Not including Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race, there are 52 contestants. Adding Chris, Chef, and all of Mike's alternate personalities, you get a total of 59 characters. If you include the Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race exclusive contestants and Don, you get a total of 92 characters.
@@connorbredall3112 They could do several videos, cast by cast, or maybe just Total Drama Island without the WT or onwards cast. It would make it easier to know where to put Heather...
Thanks guys for another Wicked character analysis (pun TOTALLY intended). That Audible ad was totally well placed. I was wondering about the viability of certain other shows and movies for the same treatment, if you are able to share them: Regular Show Zootopia 101 Dalmations The Weekenders The Simpsons (forgive me)
I'm actually surprised that Jasmine was underanalyzed on this video. Nothing was even talked about her notable provocativeness toward Jafar near the end of the original 2D film. Also, Eden should've at least been highlighted alongside Genie since both are genies, good and alike in personality.
Considering that the Cave of Wonders was home to Genies lamp and the carpet, it could be reasoned that it is also home to other magical items, ones that are far more powerful and dangerous than even the genie himself, and the guardian knows this and won’t risk them getting out into the world.
I think Carpet should be #1 Also Kassim got the closest to killing Aladdin more than anyone else in the franchise. He hugged Aladdin WHILE HOLDING THE HAND OF MIDAS. that thing was INCHES from Aladdin.

Iago the parrot is my favorite character in the whole franchise.
Mine too.
Great video and thank you for making a good to evil aladdin video I think iago should be abit higher
Phineas and Ferb: Good to evil
MLP: Friendship is Magic Good to Evil!
you realize he'll have to watch 9 seasons, 6 films, several hours of animated specials, read dozens of books, and read a hundred comics, for a list of like 400 characters? ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL THE MAN???
@@SteamPaladin You could put the characters in groups like with the Muces
What about Haroud Hazi Bin Abis Mal's right hand guy? He actually had better schemes than Abis Mal. Love the video 👏🏻
In the true story of Aladdin ,Aladdin(his father died from disappoint) is not a good character at all
Even in this version, he’s not too great. I’d have put him between Sultan and Abu, which would be roughly the least evil of the evil half if the TV show weren’t included.
Oof size large
r/ihadastroke
his father died from "disappoint"?
You left out Haroud and Chaos. Also Sadira.
Bout to hit 100k ggs
Little surprised you left out Sadira. She'd be hard to place.
I would've ranked her before Iago
Go Gargoyles next that would be intresting
Mechanicles is still my favourite villain from the TV series.
You should do a Good to Evil video on He-Man/She-Ra (original, to be exact)
My ranking on Aladdin characters
Good-Iago Jafar Magic Carpet Genie
Worse-Abu Aladdin
Neutral-Jasmine
Bad-Mozenrath the evil tall dragon
Do a good to evil "fugget about it" please
When I was little when I first saw Rajah, I was scared.
Good to evil coralline and regular show
I am 10 Minutes late yet Early

Can you do Total drama island cast good to evil.
If you include the Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race
exclusive contestants and Don, you get a total of 92 characters.
@@connorbredall3112 They could do several videos, cast by cast, or maybe just Total Drama Island without the WT or onwards cast. It would make it easier to know where to put Heather...
Do one for the Kim Possible series.
They did.
Where is Sadira. She was one of my favorite characters. Why'd you forget her?
where's chaos
@@peterprotter5330 wheres the Mukhtar, Ayam Aghul, Haroud ...
Please do Good to Evil Tangled Characters including its sequel series!
I hope Pascal is one of the good and he's also most humorous
Please make Ice Age! But don't cram all five movies into one video, make it in parts.
Jafar best at manipulation
Scar: seriously
ursula: "iam sorry were you saying something"
You should do SuperMarioLogan Characters Good To Evil 😂
+angel Plays I totally agree with you
Brooklyn 99 characters : good to evil
That pic of raja is glorious
Missings: Sadira, Dhandi, Eden, Thundra, Squirt, Ayam Aghoul, Saleen, Chaos, Whahid and the others
You literally forgot to mention that Jasmine literally sacrificed her hand been cut only to stole an apple for a hungry kid
Thanks guys for another Wicked character analysis (pun TOTALLY intended). That Audible ad was totally well placed. I was wondering about the viability of certain other shows and movies for the same treatment, if you are able to share them:
Regular Show
Zootopia
101 Dalmations
The Weekenders
The Simpsons (forgive me)
Can you make a Anastasia good to evil
Aladdin, my favourite Arabic/Vegas related movie
Do a Gravity Falls: Good To Evil.
If you are going to make the video, just make sure she's with the bad guys.
I wonder where Sadira would've ranked
For that matter, Chaos too.
Also Eden, Fasir and Thundra. Arbutus only had 1 episode and was included, yet they had 2, 3 and 6 respectibly and were nowhere on the list.
Ayam Aghoul, The Mukhtar ...
What about Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy? or Cat Dog?
I'm actually surprised that Jasmine was underanalyzed on this video. Nothing was even talked about her notable provocativeness toward Jafar near the end of the original 2D film. Also, Eden should've at least been highlighted alongside Genie since both are genies, good and alike in personality.
Considering that the Cave of Wonders was home to Genies lamp and the carpet, it could be reasoned that it is also home to other magical items, ones that are far more powerful and dangerous than even the genie himself, and the guardian knows this and won’t risk them getting out into the world.
side note but jafar looks like he does need glasses
I remember this I love this movie
Well razuel is basically a cop going after thieves that take things that dont belong to them.
Family guy good to evil
Stewie and Peter and Brian are for some reason the funniest.
11:18 I would not to dare entering the Cave of Wonders.
I'm not going in there, and never dare to enter in the Cave of Wonders.
I think Carpet should be #1
Also Kassim got the closest to killing Aladdin more than anyone else in the franchise. He hugged Aladdin WHILE HOLDING THE HAND OF MIDAS. that thing was INCHES from Aladdin.
Do The Amazing World of Gumball!
I know I already said that but it’s one of my tv shows!
My favorite tv show is Spongebob!
Good to evil: south park
Done and ready.
Metalocalypse good to evil
Mirage's job is to be evil, she should be number one. Mozenrath should be number two. Honestly, Jafar just lost his mind, he isn't the evilest.
I thought Mozenrath would be gold.
At least Iago has been reformed later in the sequel.
How could you possibly forget Genie's girlfriend Eden, the genie in a bottle?
Boondocks good to evil
The Lion King & Aladdin are the most iconic Disney movies ever made.
