- Why your Dad should be supervised if you buy a Cold Steel Magnum Blowgun for his Birthday and why you should be worried if you most recently bought him a stun gun for his Birthday . Never ask your wife to shoot you with a blowgun to see what it feels like. Remember the box says caution not a toy : )
Those stun darts are no joke they hit really hard!
I have scene speeds of up to 200 + depending on lung capacity, I am working on a adapter to help increase speed and will be coming out with a carbon and fiberglass versions of my own
Distance Shooting, the Mini Broad Head give me the most Distance, Followed by Bamboo. Great Video!

My Dad underestimated it too! He said never again : ) He was only 5 ft away when she shot . The stun darts are just hard plastic bombshell looking and have a x cut in the end. I dont know the exact weight but apparently they work on big and small varmints. Thanks for views and comments.
Yea that surprises me, I mean I've heard of people not being able to kill squirrels with rubber blunt arrows coming from a bow, wonder how that would work on a squirrel.
Head ,neck or upper bodyaccurate impact would kill or stun. Aim Small, Miss Small ; )

How much do these darts weigh? Im curious about the fpe at around 110ish fps

Plenty of ways to make a highly effective blowgun yourself on TH-cam if shipping/customs is a problem. Check out Michael D Janich blowguns. He has a great book on subject as well. More than one way to accomplish your mission. The book Blowgun Techniques by Amante P. Marinas Sr. Is a definitive guide to modern and traditional blowgun techniques. But then again your measuring impact velocity at killing distance, understandably considerably slower than barrel velocity. Is the bamboo dart 10" or 12"? I'm trying to make them using skewers.

Something is way wrong, typical fps for a blowgun dart is 400-550, nearly twice as fast as a bow and arrow.
+IASOU2005 Good luck with that! Just because they say it, that doesn't make it so. Chrono that on video and let me know if those speeds are typical for you and everyone you see actually chronographed their shots and I would be willing to bet it's more a rare than typical. To do is to understand 😁
Thanks! It's only limited by your imagination. I loved my Tipman A-5 with flatline barrel and responsive trigger, at up to 10 to 15 rounds per second. That was fun times and serious fire power that definitely got your attention 😂🤔

400!??😂 That's like paintball gun speeds good luck getting that with your lungs, I have no idea where you heard that, I hunt with mine and max maybe at 160-190, and that's if I really try hard
Sounds right - believe i'm getting around 350 fps with a +/- 10 gram dart. For an idea of energy get a single spike dart through 20mm hardwood marine ply. About 15 mm of the dart sticks out the other side.
