The new Taco is going to sell like crazy … and not just on Tuesdays 🌮
I love what you did there and you are so very right!
Niceeeee! In fact, it should come with tacos on Tuesday's. To the door pockets!
Not with the huge price hike it will most likely have compared to last years model.
im definitely going to buy one in 2-3 years! trd pro or trailhunter, its a toss up!
Only if it's much less than the Tundra.
I'm not about to drop the same amount of cash on a smaller and less powerful truck, when I can get something bigger and more powerful, at about the same price. I guess this is why Toyota haven't released pricing for them just yet. They know they can charge a lot for, but they're still not sure of which price point that won't drive customers away. I'll say this: If their TRD Pro hits $60K. I'm out. I can get the Tundra 1794 edition, long bed, with TRD Off Road package at $63K or $64K.
Me personally, depending on the pricing, YES. I would prefer this truck over all competitors.
I really can't wait until this new tacoma starts rolling out. I've been in the market for a truck to replace my current car and this midsize monster would hit that sweet spot
Definitely a fantastic truck! I never buy new but I may make an exception for this one!
I’m really interested into this truck! The snorkel is prolly my favorite part on the truck. I absolutely hate fake vents, I think everyone does. But overall, Toyota has outdone themselves with the brand new Tacoma Trailhunter!
They knocked this truck out of the park.
11:06 I can really blast Killswitch Engage songs with the removable speaker in the Tacoma 🤘🏻
Now you are thinking!@@TheSpeedDemon64
The reversed snorkel is for dirty and debris not water. If you are that deep in water you need a boat.
Rain while driving 75mph?
I'm loving all the trims, it's gonna be hard to pick one.
You better believe it!
They did awesome redesign on this ! 👍
I can’t wait to take you for a ride in it Tom
McDonald's is all you'll be able to afford once they release the price of this truck.
Great review, I'm loving this truck.
Looks much better than the one I saw at the OC auto show which was more basic
The trd pro tundra is 72k so there is hope this midsize in the pro and trail hunter will stay under 60
Evidently you haven’t been to McDonald’s lately it’s extremely expensive too 😂
sold....Christmas gift for myself...
Best gift to give!
Santa Claus filed for chapter 7 he's broke for 2023.
That's a spicy Taco.
You are damn right about that David!
"TRD Off Road" and "TRD Pro" are two different models, Joe.
Joe snorted a few coke lines see how excited he is, Joe slow down, must be some good powder.
He said the oh crap handle. Hahahaha. I'll be calling it like that now.
Trailhunter for rock crawling/overlanding and TRD Pro for bajaing
got a buddy that just did the Baja, said the specs on the Trailhunter makes it ready to run Baja right off the showroom floor
What has a softer ride over bumps ?
How much weight can the tailgate hold when it’s folded down I ask because I always think of tailgating and rough idea 250 pound couple of buddies sitting on it drinking their beers after a hard day of construction but if it can’t hold 500 pounds I feel like that’s a fail
I think you will be just fine!
Beautiful truck like its big brother the Tundra
Totally agree with you
2 million subscribers reach your goal💯
One day at a time for sure brother!
I hate it when they say “this not a production model” and that’s why we don’t have the pricing of it… Never mind the fact that there are already multiple colors out and about!
Love your reviews! Man! tough choice on my end what to go with for mid size truck.
Joe and Lori and Steve and keep up the good work and I love the video 👏 👍
Aloha Joe. This is a awesome looking Tacoma Trailhunter, but the pricing will be a meticulous itself for others to choose from.
Love the real life comments on the snacks we eat
Dude took a redbull to the dome at 8:38 💥 went from lower case letter TO CAPITAL AIGHT GUYS!!!!!!!
You are hilarious!
Is the snorkel function or does it get a Bonk?
It's an air filter
I can't wait to see this one with the long bed
From another video I saw the non-functional air vents on the front bumper cover of the Tacoma is because the Tacoma does not utilize the little side radiators where the vents sit like the Tundra uses for transmission cooling.
This is true!
This will be a 60k truck…and the dealers will mark it up another 10k.
It will be interesting to see what the final numbers are.
I really don't think Toyota will do what Ram, Jeep, Chevy, and Ford did to their customers. Although buyers that paid 5-10k+ in mark-ups ( even though it didn't matter to them) there's a different mentality with Toyota buyers I think. We're all willing to pay for quality, and resale but we aren't paying to make a statement. We're paying for reliability, durability, and practicality.
Toyota buyers are different, I think.
Personally, refuse to pay over list. Hell, it hurts paying list. I'll wait till all the folks who have to be first get theirs. But this is the model that fits for me, so it will happen eventually.
0:08 oh I thought I was the only one who gets the sensation of sand in my eyes when I don't get enough sleep 😅
Looking to replace my oldie but goodie Toyota Tacoma TRD...This is beautiful!!... and love all the over landing functionality. It would be perfect for my daily stuff plus off road adventures!
Honestly I agree on the steering wheel emblem but also really wished the interior came in all black , not a fan of the grey and orange...I might get over it pretty quick in person though...maybe😅 Thank you for this tour
Been waiting for this model to hit the market. Price is going to be eye watering. That's evident already. On the other hand, it should be trail ready as is, so that will save a bit. We'll have to see, but the wait is driving me nuts.
Can't wait to get one.... YES
You will love it!
Any mention of spare tire size? Does the Pro and or TrailHuntrr come with full size spare?
Will it be limited like the TRD Pro? Because if it is, it’ll be priced at a minimum of $59,995 + $5,000 dealer markup.
I imagine someone will make third party trim panels that will in those weird teardrops below the headlights.
Due to the amazing twinkie hauling capabilities… I’m in.
Wish i can afford it
Finally Toyota gave us a real Tacoma
Looking forward to the media drive. 😀 I love the exterior and interior design.
Hope all is well buddy. Sold my RA. Thinking about getting a 24 TRD PRO. Since you are able to see the trucks in person, do you like the truck overall?
Where do you mount a winch its for overlanding
Damn this is nice!!! Cost of trucks has really gone up so I have a feeling it’s going to be out of my budget.
I want this exact model. Im tired of my full size truck
If Toyota makes the Tundra like they make the Tacoma, the Tundra would outsell the F150.
That would be interesting to see.
Give me one good reason for an American to switch from Ford, Ram and Chevrolet to a Toyota Tundra 👊🇦🇷
@@fabianmolinari5566one reason: TOYOTA
@@fabianmolinari5566 Higher quality and better reliability.
@@joebrito2066That's your mistake, since people choose Ford, RAM, Chevrolet AMD GMC, over Tundra, the numbers speak for themselves.
Did he say it has 33 inch tires then say they were 265r18 ?? I think he meant 285 or is he just that amped up on that taco dust?? And this thing doesn't have a front locker?? Id still go with the Colorado zr2 or ranger tremor.
Good call for sure!
I am onboard with this one ☝️ my friend!
This or a TRD off-road with premium package. The hybrid system with 326 HP will be my choice-loaded with every option!
Thank you for another gem 💎 of a video… very informative with great bits of humor!
how about a single cab w 6.5 ft bed
That would be a nice touch!
Love to see 35 inch tires on this.
Get a saw out. Only jeeps can do that.
@@TonyChin226 Oh come on! I want 35s! I want 35s! lol
@@TonyChin226 and Colorado zr2 bison
How do you know it's going to be a trim above the TRD pro?
Because Toyota told me.
Wow, Toyota dethroning their trd PRO is interesting@@RaitisRides
Really hope they don't make that sportrack standard just for 90% of people to have to chuck them right away.
Is it possible for a bed cover?
It looks cool just not 65k Grand cool . Curious what the pro will be and sport hope you get covers those !
I was going to say. I don’t mind paying $50k for this and that’s already a lot of $$$. But, seeing how the dealership mark ups are going to be crazy considering that, I’ve seen Tacoma TRD Pro hitting the $60-$70k mark? This Trailhunter will definitely be in the $65-$75k range unfortunately. After dealership mark up’s and installation of other BS features. I would this Trailhunter. I’m in the market for a Truck. Tired of the small sedan cars. Time for a change. Just not with this price tag. 😂
Looks rad
You are so right about that!
Does that come in a 6' bed
Toyota Rocks
No doubt
I’m just waiting for the Limited preview and look.
My dream truck ❤❤❤
yes simply yes
I almost bought a 2023 Honda Ridgeline, $4k off MSRP. But decided to patiently wait for that Tacoma limited.
Smart move 👍
Yes, but the long bed version.
"hand full of Twinkies" - That's the punch line 🤣
Now that I know I will be able to get a Cybertruck with over 400 miles of range and 800V architecture, 16" of ground clearance, air suspension and a lot better driving tech this is suddenly much, much less attractive. I'm actually wondering why the hell I ever considered buying a hybrid truck. As if worrying about oil changes and all the regular maintenance on a traditional truck isn't enough already. Was enthusiastic 6 months ago, but I've been Cyberstruck.
Please compare Trd pro vs trailhunter
Lovely Truck
Are those lights on the top of the bed rails @6:14?
Yes they are, I seen them on a different video review
How do you want to dive in. Cant even start it up. 😂
it’s a nice truck but I’m afraid MSRP is going to be over 55k.. way to much for a midsize truck.
It's probably over 65 then tack a dealer markups also
When are these trucks coming
Hey. Joe good review on the Tacoma, and i am not complaining too much but why don't the car companies offer the customers an option if they wanted a larger engine just to order it with the vehicle
I like this a ton, but what's it Gunna cost can't afford another 65k truck on the market
That is the million dollar question Johnny!
Already preordered a Pro, still think the Pro is a better option. As im betting 1yr later all the TH options will be options you can buy from toyota, or the AM will offer it cheaper. Mix the two.
2024 Pro?
@@sum1bored83 yes
LOL
I like this a lot.
Nice
I’m so glad that you think so.
Snorkel on a turbo hybrid eyh?
Snorkle package! Congratulations Toyota number one on my book.
Good quality.
2024 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid Bronze Trailhunter Special Edition Crew Cab 4X4!
Sick truck
Is it hybrid
Look cool 😎
would love this... but might be out of my price range.
Mpg?
that would be really nice if they put v6
5:22 i know you know that toyota doesn’t like it when they call it a “snorkel” lol
Cue John Diffie's Pickup man
I see what you did there!
Notice how he didnt even try to sit in the back lol
Are any dealers taking deposits yet?
Other than the turbo 4 cylinder / hybrid, looks like a great truck. Immediately lost interest when you confirmed the powertrain configuration.
this one vs the land cruiser, tough decision
Yup
Love it. Also digging the Ranger Raptor.. tough decision.
I can’t believe the air compressor isn’t ARB but instead a cheap no name brand.
No tow hooks on the front big minus
oh, it's going to come down between Tacoma and Ford for me and PRICE will matter !!!
The tacoma now looks more like a full size truck!!!!! btw why did you not check out the back seat in the ranger and this truck?
He probably had limited time to review
I sat in both of them at the show and the Ranger is much bigger. I'm 5'11 and still had 3-4 inches or legroom in the Ranger. The Tacoma is a big improvement from the last gen. however. I have a '19 and can't sit behind myself in any sort of comfort, in the 4th gen it's a bit tight but doable.
@@dcl97 well for a 14 year old boy i'm 5'10 who can easily fit behind the driver seat in a 3rd gen tacoma thanks to the cut out of the back of the seats
Until you put an adult in the back seat
@@rjejames28 true. Probably one who is 6ft and below
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 Love it.
It's hard to justify $60k for a 4cyl that's unproven. Would rather have had the current 6cyl as an option.
Hell yea man
Tired of all the talking and jawboning about this truck. They need to get these damn things built and to the dealers
They are coming soon!
I'm going to wait until interest rates come down first.
Smart move!
Looks like a really nice truck
This thing is gonna sell
This truck will be above 50k easily but my Zunk is why there is no "moonroof"? these Japanese company needs to think ahead of time. this is 2024 truck and still 30 years behind at some points! disappointing.
