Welcome back, I've missed these how to plays. There's a nice bit of nostalgia in this game. This seems to be a trend in mass market games of late, such as Gargoyles being another tugging at nostalgia strings. It looks like a fairly light, but fun game.
It's not really Disney's The Rocketeer. It's Dave Stevens' The Rocketeer. I remember going wild over the comic when it came out in 1982. I hope he gets some credit in the game. RIP to one of the greatest cover artists ever.
Ditto. I was reading and loving the Rocketeer long before the Movie was announced. Dave Stevens created the perfect comic with the Rocketeer. Great art and story telling.
awesome video! Love the enthusiasm and passion you have for these games! We are looking for tcg players to do product/game reviews. Would love to send you some merchandise
Aww, I haven't even thought about The Rocketeer in decades. If the style of this game is anything to go by, it bodes quite well for the remake/reboot/whatever it is they're doing that I had to look up to find out what prompted this. Looks like a game that'll be far simpler to understand in-play. I do like that it's icon based rather than being text heavy, & the differing location rewards are a nice touch.
Even though I know I'll never get a chance to play most of these games, I still enjoy the hell out of watching Becca Scott teach me how to play them. Although I did get to play Jaws, and her tutorials are so good that you only need to watch a quick 10 minute video to be able to easily teach others everything about the game.
@@booklover2285 There are just too many board games in the world, so the cost and space to store them is so much that there's no way I'll ever get to a vast majority of them.
I'm really sad what happened to this channel. did all leadership jump ship or what. I mean no spellslingers, tabletop and critical role is it own thing now. Just sad this channel was like my childhood I would love to see it come back to life

While the game is based on the Disney movie, I don't see any reference to the creator of the character. Sad.
The artwork in that series was amazing - Dave Stevens was a such a great artist and writer.

Becca is one of the best explaining a game. Love it!
Great clear explanation as always and your outfit looks like it could be right from the game's time frame.
