I like to play custom Hawkes, so sorry that my favorite version of the twins are Bowlcut Bethany and Fivehead Carver. But like the last video, I do use a lot of mods in my game. Pretty much all of the companions are using 'Unique Face Textures for Companions': www.nexusmods.com/dragonage2/mods/3930 !
have i played dragon age 2 so much that i know every single line of dialogue and codex entry? surprisingly yes. am i still watching this video just because it's yours? unsurprisingly also yes.
Dragon Age 2 had a lot of great potential and a lot of great characters like the Arishok and Varric. Too bad it wasn't given the proper development time.
I'v been playing DAI Traspasser, and I found the librarian spirit called Ghil-Dirthalen. It means "the one guiding knowlege seekers to the truth" or something alike. So cool♥️
This is so good, I feel like I can use this and the DA:O video to prep my wife to start out at Inquisition (once we finish Mass Effect), which is the only DA game available on PS5. Oh for a remake/remaster of the whole series for current gen consoles.
I feel like this glosses over the political backdrop of the mage-Templar dynamics which is reasonable given the lenght of the video but a missed opportunity given its the meat and potatoes of this franchise. It's like recapping Julie and Julia without mentioning the food...probably, I haven't actually watched that movie
@@alexsnewhandle LOL- i mean part of that is also because the mage/templar war is a huge missed opportunity in DA. Its closure in DAI is mid at best. :/
This was the first DA game I picked up and I absolutely loved it. The first rpg I had played that had romance in, I was so hooked after that 😅 went back and played origins before the big hype that was Inquisition
I hold DA 2 close to my heart. I play default Female Hawke. I’ve always played rouge, always. I decided to try mage & it was different. I ❤️ hanged man bar. After all Verric is there😇
Don't know if your interested but I would like to see longer videos from you especially with the new installment which would mean new lore would like to hear you for 30 mins to even and hour at a time however i know videos like that are a lot of work so maybe
I get that it's five minutes so a lot is left out, and it does give enough to know the main plot, i feel like the dalish and sundermount should've been mentioned, and possibly more stuff... still good to have short form videos in this day and age though!
Love the recap, so excited for Veilguard!! Is there a video/series anyone can recommend that covers everything including books to get me up to speed prior to the next game? I know thats a lot to ask for but maybe haha
I sunk 12h of my life in this crappy game. Then watched this 5min summary, enjoyed it more than the game itself, deleted the game, installing inquisition. I hope it's better than da2
@@ZehnWaters probably also would have worked, haha- but in the original script I had a lot more info on the twins and their possible deaths that got cut, so I think that line just sort of survived and I didn't think much of it? Scripting these videos are a bit difficult- a lot of guess work in writing and speaking!
Also noticed the bit about Legacy and "whichever sibling survived" but I realise Caitie likely didn't want to spoil the potential death of the remaining sibling in The Deep Roads, as it's worth discoveriing yourself.

Sooo much forehead! My Hawke would roast the living hell out of Carver if he looked like that in my game😂
Dragon Age II, they could never make me hate you
Factssss
Same! I played it more than I did Origins.

Beautiful storyline
We are the few, the proud, the DA II defenders
Saying "There is 1 mid-game DLC" is such a catastrophic level of shade for its... other DLC that I couldn't help but chuckle lol
@@castillogrande8926 well i didnt mean only one exists! Just one im going to talk about!
But also yes lol
in its defence, it is the only DLC that becomes plot relevant in the next game
Tallis is mentioned in inquisition as well.

Ha! Same here. :-)

DA2 can also be summed up like this....
Spoilers ahead.
Act one:
WTF Bartrend?!
Act two
WTF Isabela?!
Act three
Anders NO!
Fair. :-)
Thought that be longer
@@antheathetiefling8581 I mean... You're not wrong.
@@michaeldahmm2238 overly correct ?
Pretty much the whole experience
Low key my favorite story of the three
I love actually feeling the passage of time
I hope we see Fenris in the veilguard - a character with so much potential should return if we’re in Tevinter.
I liked the friendly/rivalry aspect. Especially how it relates to romances.
The underrated DA. Many great things about this game, but EA never really gave BioWare the time to properly work on the graphics. Still, I love DAII
2:45 Hey, Kirkwall may be a shithole, but it’s *our* shithole, dammit!
Great video Caitie, excellent way to refresh if it’s been awhile.
DAII my beloved. I’m not sure it’s the game I’ve played the most, but it’s definitely the BioWare game I’ve played the most.
Sebastian: MAKE-UH NOOOOO
I actually really enjoyed Dragon age 2. When Anders blows up the chantry that was so intense

Da2 is my fav story a man having to continue his life no matter what happens to him because his family would want him togo forward no matter what .
I really wish they got to include hermit Anders like they wanted in Inquisition

Dragon Age 2, my guilty pleasure
Very well told!
DA II - chaotic bisexuals commit crimes and Hawke can't catch a break literally ever.
