When the Circle sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing demons. They’re bringing blood magic. They’re murderers. And some, I assume, are good people.

The whole reason everyone wants you to kill Kelder is because the whole plot of that quest is that he's a serial killer who's avoided justice because his father's a city magistrate. Sarcastic Hawke even makes a comment about how "The Magistrate is more interested in *keeping* his job than *doing* it" (boy, does THAT quote have real world applications). Coupled with the fact that he only targets elves (who are considered second-class citizens and often NEVER see justice) means that no matter how many times he kills, he'll never be held responsible for his crimes. They don't want you to kill him because he's crazy (though that doesn't help his case), they want you to kill him because letting him live ensures more children will die. While leaving him to the courts is a noble idea, the reality is a different story. Basically, it's the whole "why doesn't Batman kill the Joker, because he'll just escape again and keep killing".
David Gaider the lead writer and dev for origins said they wanted to have Flemith look like that to begin with but the engine was able to do horns and cool hair at the time so they had her look like that in origins then when they had more money they made flemith look as she should
Fun fact: Stabbing the Keeper saved you a second fight. If you don't say "Aren't you supposed to be dead?" then Merrill gets stabbed and you have to fight the demon again (Merrill lives, she just starts the fight wounded). Also, Zevran is the elf from the first game. Pity he died, he's actually kinda fun (and can appear as an NPC in the final boss fight to help you kill Meredith).
Really. The guy goes taliban on a Chantry when the Grand Cleric in charge of it was trying to keep the peace between Mages and Templars. Yet he decided that she should just side with mages so killed her and everyone else inside the Chantry. The Isabela or Merrill predicament will always be a fun pastime. Isabela is very obvious with her intentions. Both in the Fade and when she re-steals the Qunari relic she's upfront about why she's stabbing you in the back.
