    Well, for me all those seems quite obvious ! I'm genuinely interested in Japanese culture and commit myself to learn the language.
    At 32 years I developed wisdom and an open mind after being with women from different cultural backgrounds.
    I thought it would be enough to date a japanese woman. But here I am facing a Japanese girl who became avoidant a few days after a pleasing date, dodging questions, preventing me to have her feedback and maintaining a weird ambiguity about whenever she wants to see me again or not 😔
    Am I missing something ?!

    As you mentioned, shaving off the beard in Japanese society signifies a clean and healthy appearance, and is currently trendy. I'm wondering though, isn't beard growth a natural sign of masculinity, something that women inherently find attractive? I understand the trend, but do you think it alters a woman's natural instinct based on what's considered trendy in Japan regarding beard growth? I personally wouldn't mind if a culture dictates that beard growth is in fashion because I still find it feminine and more attractive when a woman doesn't have a beard. What about the Japanese women in your circle? Are there many who find beard growth attractive and masculine, saying they don't care about trends, or do most really follow the trend and prefer a man without a beard?

    • @manachan02387
      @manachan02387  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think so too. I really like men's beards; I find them attractive. However, long beards can make men look older, so I’d recommend shaving or trimming because a beard can hide a man’s strong features. I believe a man’s strong jawline and cheekbones make him look attractive. Recently, Japanese pop culture has been influenced by Korean trends, like BTS and other popular actors, so Japanese pop stars have started shaving their beards, and their skin looks more like women's. As a result, younger women tend to prefer men without beards. Preferences vary by generation, though. Women in their thirties and older tend to prefer more masculine men.

    • @jensharrieder7022
      @jensharrieder7022 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      "That makes sense. Perhaps the next generation in J-pop will sport a three-day stubble. This way, men would look older while still showcasing their attractive jawline and cheekbones. 😎😏

    Win a Japanese girlfriend. Just remember the vast majority of Japanese marriages are sexless, and the divorce rate for international marriages is high. All the western men around me, and the majority I’ve known for 20 years complain about their sexless marriages.
    So GF? Yes. Marriage ? It would likely work better outside of Japan.

    I have struggled to meet a nice Japanese woman over the last couple of years while living in America. I even visited Tokyo last year for a few weeks hoping that by being in the country, it would improve my chance but I ended up being lonely for 3 weeks, almost 0 social interaction. I did get a couple of laughs by saying "私の日本語レベル赤ちゃん”😁 Dating apps didnt work for me as well. It was still a very beautiful place to visit and Im learning Japanese again because I really like learning the language and practicing with native Japanese speakers in ゲーム配信.
    I will take your advice into consideration and change my approach- I also feel that learning the language plays a very big part, communication is key and if youre confident in communication, it helps make everything more comfortable. For me personally, it is a must, to learn the language and culture of the person you want to date/marry if they are from another country.

      It is easier than you think. At the end of your 3rd date, confess to her if you are interested in having a relationship. If you don’t confess by the end of the 3rd date, she might give up. I’ve heard that confessing at the end of a 4th or 5th date can also happen, but the 3rd is the most common for confessing your love. It doesn’t require a big speech. Just saying “I like you. Would you like to be my girlfriend?” is enough.

    I am in tokyo and wow the women here are really breathtaking, today i saw a woman on the train about my age mid late 30s with an amazing energy and very beautiful, i was very very close to introducing myself but i decided not to bother her. In this situatuation do you think on average women in this age group would be welcoming of a foreigner approaching them like that? In the west if a woman doesnt like you because you are too short, etc and you approach it could mean big trouble.

    • @manachan02387
      @manachan02387  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      This is a tricky situation... I think it doesn't matter whether you are a foreigner or Japanese. But many Japanese people, especially women, tend to be cautious around strangers. If it's your first time meeting someone and you suddenly say hello and introduce yourself, many Japanese women might feel uncomfortable and take a step back. In such cases, exchanging contact details is unlikely to happen. But, it could be a great opportunity to connect with her, and since you never know if you'll have the chance to meet such a beautiful woman again, it's worth trying to say hi. I would recommend having your business card ready so she can quickly learn a bit about you. That’s probably the best approach.

      I'm sorry-I didn’t mean to make any assumptions. I said, "I've heard that in Western culture, it's common to date multiple people and try to be more than just friends before choosing a girlfriend" in this video. I don't know the full reality of what happens in other countries. I’ve asked about this in my previous videos to find out if it’s true or not, and some kind viewers shared their own opinions and experiences, which taught me a lot.
      As for words like "ASHI-kun," "KONBINI-kun," "MEISHI-kun," and "HONMEI-kun," I’ve almost never heard them used in my circles. I think these terms are outdated now. "MEISHI-" and "ASHI-" ” MITUGU kun" were more popular back in the 80s, when Japan’s economy was booming... they’re really old-fashioned terms....
