Hi pal 4:32 can you explain us why u doing that movement with speed bar because we didnt understand :D. When u would upload that's videos, we r trying the something to learn for paragliding. Sorry for the my English have a nice lots of flying day 😊
Hi hi!
This is to practice a full speed - >180 degree turn -> full speed transition. You go from 100% speed bar to 0% and use the energy to climb and turn, then push 100% bar again on the bottom to avoid a climb back and bring the speed and energy straight into a flat and fast glide. This is how you turn when you enter the cylinder of a turnpoint on a competition. The fastest way without the least possible height & time loss :)

hey pal, please tell me, why were you using those straps between carabiners and brake handles?
That was my semi-free-brake setup. It is way better without the brakeline running through the pulley...but we were not allowed to do that on the X-Alps. The thin rubber strap here was too elastic so I changed it to a thin rubber line. It is solely to increase safety (!!) in many situations...when on take-off, relaxing your hands in accelerated flight, when you need to catch the brakes instantly, etc...When you know how to use it properly you will never going to end up with the brake handles twisted around your risers or get entangled in the main lines...

Sorry if I’m reading it incorrectly, but were you inducing these stalls and helis to pre comp test the stress point on the wing etc or were they from the winds?
