I would like a 5 minute intro scene in which he asks people to subscribe and give a humongous diabetes filled fat like to the video. Also, to ask us to ring that bell. He should also record face cam reactions to every sentence someone says and replay the same clips over and over while saying the same thing.
Love to my man Roman here... I’m incredibly shocked that he hasn’t became a sensation at this point. As talented as everyone is, Roman takes indiedev to a whole new level
You could tell he works on that shit all the time. He has a bunch of classes made to help him out and he knows a bunch of libraries he can use. I think he had something special there with that game.
6:22 Roman's game jam just made me feel inspired to create my own game, now i guess i'll have to learn how to code, make textures and etc. Wish me luck lol!
Great games. Second one really stood out to me, I really hope I become that efficient at modeling, texturing, and implementing one day. Cool idea on the fourth game, too. Love this series! I'm surprised they all turned out so different!
Miziziziz, this series is so well edited and organized on top of being a really fun look at game dev. Please keep them up, I watch every single one as soon as they come out!
The 3D game was so clean, so well made. Macro and micro details and goals are perfectly executed. And the use of it's art kit was genius. It's like the perfect sex partner. He won't leave you hanging and want some more while wanting to do it again later for sure. Just perfectly satisfied. Of course, Miziziz creativity in putting together a game mechanic is just top quality product as always. :D
This series has a great spirit and gives off powerful game developer energies, even when thing don’t work out, they still help us figure out what’s important.
Good stuff, as always. It's wild seeing creative uses of this set as someone who used to play Abuse a lot as a kid, I didn't even know it was PD already.
Wow is this impressive! One set of pixel assets and yet each game is different and unique, with the only consistency being the space setting across each of them! I don't even develop games and I find this impressive!
You are truly a one of a kind individual, Miz. I can't fully describe what I mean when I say this, but you are very down to earth, rational, empathetic, and wise as fuck.
This series gives me more confidence and inspiration in exploring game design. Trying to learn Godot, Aseprite and Blender is hard, so you are a massive help!
I love the Jam series of videos but I would, and possibly others too, be THRILLED to see a second follow up video about polishing the games. Seeing devs respond to feed back and have some extra time to see how people add that little extra bit of polish would be so cool, but I understand the purpose of the time limit.
That was surprisingly awesome video, most of the games were much more high quality then in previous parts, please continue this challenge). Also my favorites are second and last games, they are super cool!
I agree with Vlakoosh in saying this is my favorite game dev series although I think it could be cool if instead of going through each persons creation method only after the previous one was finished it consistently alternated between each devs games several times as the hours went by. This would probably make it more intense as the end drew nearer but i don’t know if that editing style would fit this series. Edit: I think having the games be played one after another at the end works perfectly already though
great format. 4 devs flip the same thing is just great to watch. I also like the series that andrew huang does, it's pretty much the same but with music.
So, game dev goals: Learn more than just the most simple stuff in godot Figure out how menus work Actually finish a game Be in one of these videos Probably impossible but hey I'm gonna try
You can do it, Kitty. I decided to become a game developer myself(I started a week ago). If it was 30 years ago, probably much, much harder for us to accomplish. But now, with internet, there's so much information available. We got this!
it makes me feel better about myself that some devs can make random level generation and weapon upgrades in 48h, others can make a dozen 3d assets, and some can make a tutorial level shoot 'em up. we all work at different rates.
This is my favorite series, as always, congratulations to each of you. Good projects were created, "Miziziziz", I remember when your channel had 50 subscribers, it's incredible the great leap it has taken your channel, everyone knows the great talent you have as a developer, I would love it, that at some point, you decide to do a great project of video game, keep it up, for me you are the best developer of Godot 👏👏👏
@@Miziziziz Ohh you're so gentle, thanks for your channel estimated friend, you will always be part of my inspiration, never abandon this great passion that lives in you, you have a great gift
That 3D one was a very clever use of the sprites God damn!
Miz: "Looks like you're not supposed to win"
IMMEDIATELY CUTS TO
Breogan Hackett: "Whoo! I won!"
That's humor and humility in the editing right there
I think I just got a game breaking bug that only appears on Linux lol

I love how the participants are not all huge youtubers with massive followings and you bring light to some more unknown developers.
The 3D one looked incredible, wtf, showing off how good ps1 + pbr can look.
I liked but the only problem is the blue that it seemed to have hurt my eyes and the emissions were insanely bright
what engine is that? UE?
@@FirstNameLastName-wv2iz Unity
Pixelization Post Processing != PS1, PS1 has much more to it. This is just retro looking hybrid with modern day graphics but definitely not PS1.
what does ps1 and pbr stand for, playstation 1 and ?
The 3D one is GORGEOUS!
I like how he goes straight to the point in al his videos

The “speedy missile barrage” looks terrifying :0
Honestly, I would love to develop a game where you play as an angry swarm of missles on a rampage.
Yeah, it's a huge swarm
@@blehmeh9889 make it like bees instead and you have to defend your hive from different animals
trying out a different style of thumbnail, do you guys prefer this or the old style?
I prefer the old style for this series, seemed more organized and characterized each game to pique the interest of the viewer.
ya this one's nice
Seeing the current thumbnail in my notifications, I have no clue what is happening on it, way too much detail for how small it's displayed.
Old ones sparks more joy
I personally enjoy more the old style
Thanks for having me be a part of this Miziziziz it was an amazing experience and I'm amazed by all the games we made!
Hey, dood, couldya make a tutorial on how to make those kinda bosses where they run across the screen and stuff...
Roman's was an interesting look at the theme and your's had a unique mechanic
"So, you're not supposed to win, I guess..."

Roman’s game looked really awesome
A lot of the assets flips in this series are just utter black magic to me ;p

Nice I was excited for another episode of this
That 3d game looks more visually appealing that some AAA games lmao
Outstanding job
This series is really cool. Imagine what could be made in 48 hours but on the last day you announced that it was actually 72 hours.
Roman: Thank you for including the continuous firing mode
Hackett: *loud clicking noises*
16:03 -16:28 is the funniest sequence of cuts I've ever seen LMFAO and maybe your game was a little too unique and innovative lolol
the classic "this video is sponsored by me"
