I was expecting some vicious fight but instead the mama bear being rather clever in her approach and the perpetrator sliding down the slope was so funny!
The cool thing about the animal kingdom is that most apex predator males would not harm the female.
If two male wolves are about to fight, the female partner of one wolf would pretend to cower at their partners neck. Its canine instinct to go for the jugular, so the female protects her mate by pressing against him knowing that the other male wolf will not attack her.
Apparently, polar bears are the same. Most male bears know not to mess with Mama Bear and she in turn knows that she does not have to make things bloody and unpleasant.
Aren't nature's predators wonderful?
They are stronger, more caring and more resourceful than today's idiot humans.
And we still think we are at the top of the eco chain?
But it was not so dignifying for the male polar bear

Yes... She made sure her last one was up, clear and safe that she even made sure the cub didn't slip back down the slope. Then she went to breaking the snow to cause an avalanche effect. Brilliant!

you are so wrong. He's enjoying the ride down so much! It's a setup video and the bear sliding down in this video doing it totally due to his will (contrary to the video screenplay). The slope is very shallow, he can stop at any time, but he doesn't want to. First seconds of his downhill ride is very slow -- he tries to gain speed. 0:44

Male and female polar bears often go down slopes together. Females use the climb up to judge males fitness(genes). It’s likely she would know.

That is because the whole story is staged and faked and different videos put together with sound effects as the usual work of those large documentary channels, sometimes these evil channels can stage actual killing of animals by animals for the pleasure of getting money.

I've watched probably every video on polar bears on you tube and this scene has been done 6 different times to 5 different meanings. If you don't believe me just be out in the lookout for the different versions! 😂

When the mother bear pushes at the snow, it's clearly a different set of surroundings from seconds earlier. Probably not even the same Polar Bear.

I didn't want to spoil everyone's fun but it is clearly edited to make it look the way it does. The first "male" bear had cuts and was bleeding and at the end had no cuts or blood. Some people might say that when he slid the snow rubbed it off but you can see where the landscape changes. It's clearly not the same "mother" bear either.
Its very commun in animal documentaries, most stories are made up
...and this is what "media" does to a dumbed down public on every subject. We are told a "narrative" not ever shown the basic "truth"

This looks like two different clips in one. The bear had wounds when it was climbing up but then none once he was at the bottom. Mama bear was on rocky area then rocks were gone when she was pushing the snow 🧐 Cubs were cute all along.
Yeah it's seriously contrived and badly edited, I don't know why so few people have noticed how completely disconnected the shots are.

The cubs were editted on the mountain. The original video is of a male and female polar bear flirting which ends in the male bear being unable to go up the mountain and slipping off.

What is nice is Polar bears are great swimmers. They often go out on the ice to hunt seals. Polar bears are very smart and they teach their young.
They swim out of desperation due to shrinking feeding grounds and polar ice caps melts.

I love it when the male bear tries to hide his face in utter shame at the undignified manner in which he was made to retreat only to find the snow wasn't deep enough and he growing in frustration.😂😆... obviously that's probably not the case but it sure as hell looked like it, besides I like to think it was the case especially watching how magnificent and calm the mother was in carrying out this plan to deal with this incoming disaster and then watching her adorable babies just peeking and what seems like laughing at the vanquished highly dangerous threat.😆

If you can't tell the shots of the sliding bear isn't at least from an entirely different time of day (and logically is therefore most likely not even the same bear - no reason to make it up if it were) you need a better prescription on your lenses at the very least.
And then there's the scene where she's sitting down clearly still on the path which doesn't make sense with the scenes (that are at a third time of day from the climbing and sliding shots) standing above shoving snow down either.

Would have been great if it was real. The bear sliding down isn't the same bear, no scars on its neck. That bear is playing. I wonder what show this is from. Beautiful bears! ( Ah! It's from Snow Bears! I have to watch that!)
Different footage was also used on one of the David Attenborough polar bear series. The reason given was because the polar bears are extremely ferocious, so it's far too dangerous to set up camera equipment that close. The crew would be risking their lives so footage was taken from various times, scenarios, some from zoos etc to complete the overall picture and give us as accurate a depiction of polar bear life as possible. We would probably see only drone/helicopter footage otherwise.

Wild babies have such a hard life. Its heartbreaking to see their struggles as a human, as we always step way out to save our own kind, but in the wild, they are left to fend for themselves. Bears are super smart. Loved how momma got cubbies up safely. She waited for the right moment to start kicking the snow. Once he saw what she was doing- he ( being smarter than alot of humans) knew when to throw in the towel and slid down gracefully- making it look like fun rather than causing him danger 👍🏻🇺🇲🌎
