Hi MM. That clip was just so great to see and watch, but it was good to see the 2 Ndhzenga males and 2 of their cubs on one bank of the Sand River together, and then seeing the two males cross the river one after the other leaving the 2 sub adult youngsters on the bank where they were resting and move into a open area to find the rest of the Kambula pride with a young impala kill they were all fighting over a lot. With such a small kill, it's clear it wouldn't last very long at all. I also hope the injured young Kambula male is recovering very well and successfully there as well. Isn't he? It was incredible to see the tiny pack of wild dogs give way to an old buffalo that wanted to wallow where they were just enjoying a good wallow quietly by themselves together. The old bovine didn't seem to be that worried about them as they didn't represent a danger. Having said that, wild dogs hardly ever opt to toy, chase, or mess about with a buffalo that weighs so much more than they do. At first, I thought it was just going to be a whole herd following the buffalo into the small pan for a wallow, but as it turned out, it was just the one, thankfully. So the wild dogs didn't seem too worried. I'd love to see a lot more of the clips more frequently, please. Especially when it comes to finding out where the Stone Drift female's densite is that it will contain her own first ever litter of cubs somewhere there that will be waiting for her to return to nurse them after a hunt. I can't wait to see the very first photos of them either, as well as the clips. It's good. Happy Xmas to you all, and I hope to hear from you shortly. Robert 18.12.24
Captivating scenes & moments with the Ndhzenga Kings & their formidable Kambula pride. Conflicts are expected given the numerous individuals who require sustenance. A remarkable insight into the beauty of a baby elephant as it drinks, embodying innocence & life. Limitless abundance & the beauty of new beginnings. Thank you, MalaMala ❤
