I was Ex employee of the future group and I made pridiction one day it will be become Major issue for the company . Unfortunately this happened . But no one can replace him .

Very well explained video.. Before Kishore Biyani started the concept of Big Bazar... He studied the famous Sarbhana store of Chennai.. Under one roof one can buy everything and that too in an affordable price.. Kishore Biyani is a great man and a visionary.. But within 5 years the entire dynamics of business changed.. Now it's all internet driven online market... Sad end to an amazing journey of Kishore Biyani 🙏

I always used to enjoy shopping at BB but found that the sales staff is very casual...not available to attend the customer. All are busy on their own phones. I asked the authority whether it is allowed to carry a phone during working hours and the reply was very disappointing. There was no control over them from the senior staff... rather the senior staff was altogether missing.
That is the way the sales were affected drastically.
When I used to work at Big Bazaar back in 2014-15 rules were very strict for us we were not allowed to take our mobile phones to the floor as we had to submit them at the security point
Talking about casual attitude we were not even allowed to stand in a relaxed position leaning against anything we were supposed to be attentive every time...
Big bazaar was so good, it always gave everything in reasonable price as compare to others, and quality of the product was also good,why it closed💔💔

BIG BAZAR was always my favourite destination whenever I visited GIP Mall in Noida.
My favourite outfits that I often bought from there included Buffalo Jeans, formal shirts and shorts of Knighthood and DJ & C, and some kitchen-related stuff.
Seeing it gone feels like the mall is no longer a charming spot for me and so, I seldom visit there these days.

Wrong strategy and poor employee management hit them hard. Big bazaar employers never encourages customers. Same problem at Central, brand factory too. You are in business where customer is god, no doubt your products were good. Poor employee management is main reason as far i know. Also central mall products were too costly compared to others.
I miss big bazzar . My home is still full of big bazzar products .. i am still wearing its clothes...my family members too.i never thought bb will fall so quickly.. in same shop we used to get most of our needs. Wish it can be restarted...!! Very nicely made video..!

After 2 years of Pandemic time , people are shifting towards offline shopping also. Businesses need now omnichannel sales. This i can say, seeing the massive crowd in markets and malls.
Big Bazar, was the best.. and I used to buy T-Shirts n Kurta's from it and those were awesome...

during my MBA days, I had the opportunity to work with Future Group as an intern. It is when I realised that it was a huge mistake for me. The higher management never knew how to utilise the interns. They used us to carry gift vouchers to their stores in Kolkata and also made us fill up questionnaires in front of malls and parks. It was a horrible experience overall. No wonder there is lack of proper management that has led to nothing but chaos in the organisation and they find themselves where they are now.

Higher management only knows how to take out their remuneration and how to promote chamchas whoever serves daru and picking and dropping manager. My reporting boss stolen my laptop and he put me on lurch.

One of the major reasons for the sinking of BB and which has not been mentioned in here is the high shrinkage and rampant systematic looting in the stores by the store staffs in connivance with the higher officials.

Where i stay suddenly I saw reliance board in front of my nearest big bazaar store. Though i am a regular customer of reliance jio for groceries as the store is very near to my home, still I felt very sad for big bazaar as i had many memories when we uaed to shop at big bazaar in 2008-2011. Me and my collegue went to the bigbazaar which was occupied by reliance the very next day and we were shattered to see such a big company on such apathetic state. There were no racks and the things were lying on the ground, no proper lights, and we could buy things with cash only as it was on transactional mode. Just like company sometimes such phases comes in peoples life also.
Ek complete janakari apne bahut hi achchese is video mein diye hain. Big Bazar to humare daily life ka hissa ban geya tha. News paper mein unka add ana ek common si baat tha. Ye humare liye ek sabak hain ek chetwani hain👍🙏🏻
its very sad for me coz i have been worked in future group (bigbazaar Sahara mall) in 2005 to 2013 which is unforgettable era for me. also we have one wtsup group also with all bigbazaar 2005'frnds n grp is still active. I have learnt almost everything frm there.

I used to go visit big bazar at the age from 7or 8 with my father mother and sister and it was really fun time yeah i had those memories with it
I have also done job for 3 years at big Bazar and it was quite hard to believe that it went under the hands of greedy person. I used to be present in fashion department and I used to feel happy when in order to remind customers about product in mic say ÷ Namaste dear customers swagat hai apka big Bazar mein big Bazar making India beautiful.....
I loved their clothes the kurtis lasted longer and many dress i got for kids were comfortable. It will always be in our memories as a great shopping experience

Very Nice and Crisp Analysis of the Future Group Debacle. Biyaniji sochen the woh khud Gharial banke, chhote family stores ko kha jayenge. Unko yeh nahi pata chala ki unko bhi Nigalne Wala Gharial kahi se aajayega. BTW Neither Future Group Nor Reliance are Saints come to save the world or contribute to India. Their sole and only Motive (Hidden) has and will be to get a Strangle hold on the Indian Consumer and Economy and convert it into their personal Fiefdom.

I was a employee in sr management.. where in many misuse of transaction was regularly happening but they did not care as most highly qualified idiots misguided showing mungarilal ke hassin sapne, he was employing highly paid fools which lead the company ruined, and pandemic is was disasters to fix the last nail in coffin. Sorry, I loved the company a lot worked for 8 yrs. God save him.

BB was my favourite shoping spot the outfits were super very durable price was affordable altogether the best shop I have ever seen. Reliance can never be a replacement to BB. Really sad thar not able to shop from BB from past few months. Sadest part is when thinking that BB won't be there to shop in future also. Will there be a come back.

The main reason was of keeping maximum employees from a community who were ruining the reputation ..never treated the buyers as a guest but treated them worst...don't keep the staffs who are available at low cost buy behave like cowards..3 times no sale on the counter 9.30 am to 9.45 am 12 noon to 12.30 pm 3.30 to 3.45 pm
I complained so many times to the floor manager but his only answer management karega I can't..on that day I thought this trend is showing downward graph ...a good lesson keep educated staffs no in between gaps ..treat the customers as God

I did shopping from big bazaar many times. Reliance sab companies ko barbad kar raha hai. Pehle isne telecom industry ko hila diya .. ab big bazar ka sun rahe hai aur hmare city to eassyday se 3 grocery shop khuli thi chain me jo reliance ne hire Karli...

Whatever...I don't know if the Central shops too (Pune Central, Mumbai Central, Chennai Central etc) are a part of this debacle...We, as a customer miss a lot this Central outlets...They had very good offers, great collection of major brands, seasonal discounts and overall service. At least for Pune Central...
Sorely miss the Central outlet visits...Now only one outlet at Pimpri is functional...And it has low stock...God knows if they will resume their Operations as normal...Fingers crossed...Waiting to visit the central outlet in Karve road and Ganeshkhind road...God bless

I was the biggest lover of Pantaloon & Brand Factory from the starting the 1st store opened in Kolkata - Camac street.. No one can give the offer like Future group ... Kishorji will come back like Vishal Megamart soon with valuable experience

In the videos, the last debt figure quoted was 12k crore and sale value was quoted as 24k crore. Even then kishore biyani is claimed to be bankrupt

Dmart is not available Pan India. Though Dmart did hamper their business in the metro cities where both had their presence.

I am having Profit club card purchased from Big bazar at a cost of Rs 10000 ,. Please focus on that profit club card 's future. Whether present Smart Bazar will accept it or we will be looser finally?

2 weeks back I went to big bazaar, saw there was reliance in its place, so I came back without shopping. I'll never shop from reliance. BB used to maintain it so well, whereas now all the stuff is on floor, no shelves, it totally doesn't look like you're in a metro city. I won't go there again.
Doston doston doston...he must have said it like 10000 times! Listen to some good documentaries- pick any BBC one for example to learn how you can talk without 'doston'. It may be difficult at first but so worth it to improve quality
