I am proud of my Asian culture and also enjoy the westerner culture. However, using racial identities can cause over generalization. My favorite example: I've lived in NYC for a while now, preparing to move to LIC, Queens, and to the north you have Astoria which is a Greek neighborhood, and to the south you have Greenpoint in Brooklyn which is a Polish one. And I think for girls who immigrated from those countries, or even for those who were raised or even born in USA but identify more with their 'home countries' side they're in my mind as 'foreign' as you, an Asian immigrant or a more 'Asian' ABC. (And fun fact, from my experience girls in those neighborhoods seem to be good with Asian guys, better than many other NYC neighborhoods). In fact I do hear that for example in UK, it's more common (than many other international combinations, maybe including Asian guys and British girls) for Asian guys especially from Asia to date girls who're Polish, Turkish, Russian, etc. Also, my personal opinion is that Asians and Eastern Europeans and maybe Jewish (secular and more 'liberally' religious, like Reform for example, or even conservative, as they don't have that strong of an objection to inter marry generally and have less strict rules on their day to day life, like diet, dress, lifestyle, etc.) are natural matches. As an Asian I personally find those people, especially the women, highly attractive. I don't know if any other agrees but I do think they fit Asian beauty standards better from my experience. But most importantly, we share a similar history for the past 2 ish centuries. Hence a lot of our culture, from family values to music styles, are highly similar. So my advice? Maybe try out those girls. As long as you get through the language and cultural barrier I think you'll see how similar you are. And also BTW remember that the cultural and language barrier thing is also true for them in a setting where both of you are immigrants/minorities, like in North America or Western Europe, and your shared experience of learning the local language and culture can actually serve as an additional bond between you.

In SE Asia, it is an interesting hodgepodge of which nationalities of Western women are willing to date the local men most - and it literally varies from country to country! For instance, I notice American women seem to love the local men in Thailand but not so much the Russians. However, I notice the opposite scenario happens in the Philippines where the Russian women tend to have local men as partners far more frequently than their American counterparts would. And that is just one example of many when it comes to SE Asia's diversity when it comes to these matters!
This is a funny video, but as a cbc, I avoid the weaboo side completely for relationships. Have hooked up with multiple non asian girls who've some were into Asian stuff, some weren't , but no one who was a weaboo. It's easier to find someone who's normal since I have both cultures and fused them together. This video ignores the large amount of us who grew up and were born here and have had white female and male friends since we were children.
