I had this experience one time, a black girl from West Virginia to LA for her college and we had the same English class, I was sitting next to her for basically 1 month.
And one day she came to me and said "hey(my name), do you work in a nail salon? Cause my nail salon specialist looks like you"
I took that as she's trying to imply that Asians all look the same and we all do these girly jobs.
And i went "ugh no, but it's funny, cause I also found you look like the girl who works in KFC near my house."
And she just stunned and I never sit next to her for that semester.
This is how America works, don't be too polite, "I'll take that as compliment" is too easy for those racists. You roast them right there and now, if they're not racists and it's a misunderstanding, then apologize, it's easier that way.
I hate being polite as an Asian guy in America, people love to challenge you because most of Asian guys are just that polite, and Americans won't appreciate it, they like the bad guys, once you're a bad guy, people won't offend you because now they're the ones that chicken out from the potential trouble you might bring to them.

Generally I find it is what it is. If a girl doesn't want an Asian guys no need to be offended...just move on. One other observation I made is usually if a Asian guy is dating a white girl he is usually a very strong guy mentally and when a white man is dating a Asian girl he is usually a weak guy mentally.

White men can date DOWN Asian girls, the racial advantage automatically let them stand out from regular Asian guys, even if they are weak and can't find white girls, they can still find weaker Asian girls.

I'm also in an AMWF relationship. Luckily for me she prefers Asian men and I also break all the stereotypes of Asian men. What a lot of people say to her is ask her if she likes traits of Asian men but in a negative light like she'll be asked of she likes timid men or small men...etc. The size thing is also hilarious. If a woman ever says that she doesn't date Asian men because of the size myth ask her where she heard that from. 99% of the time she'll say from one of her guy friends. So then ask her why does a GUY who's supposed to be straight know so much about Asian d1ck? Does he sleep with a lot of Asian men or something?

Hahaha, same here. Unfortunately me and my caucasian girlfriend (she's very blond) did not end in marriage, and it is not about race or anything. In fact her parents were really very nice and approves our relationship, it is my own family that making a bit of a noise. We stayed friends as she never got married, and her mom still sends me holiday cards to this day. So AMWF can be a positive relationship if it just let it happen. I think it is becoming more accepted these days than in my time.

This is true for Asian guys, unfortunately. I think it depends also on the guy. Most Asian male features are on the feminine-side. You would not see many Asian men with beards and have smaller build in general by nature. Many western women are not attracted to it. On the other hand many Asian women prefer clean shaved men. But then again many Asian women are attracted to western men and vice-versa. Also the western media does not portrait much of AMWF relationships, you would hardly see this in Hollywood. So that leaves Asian guys limited to Asian women who are hopefully not too interested outside of her race. But, I have known asian men married to white western women, and are quite successful. I have a relative who has been married over 40 years. They met in the early 1960's when it was probably illegal then. Oh well.

My dad's half Chinese, and not in the I think he's Asian but I'm not sure way. You can definitely tell he's Asian. He's been married to my white as snow stepmother since 1987. My mother is full Hispanic. I've never understood that well I only date this type of race thing. When my dad was younger I'll tell you what, he had no trouble with the ladies. He tanned easily and was born in Hawaii so you can just imagine. Honestly I'm surprised I'm the only kid he has.
@Jinma we moved to New Mexico when I was 2. My dad and my mother got divorced when I was very young. My stepmother's very very white and they met in Albuquerque. The number of Asian men Russian women outnumber Russian men Asian wives. All that is true and it has affected how women view us, including possibly Asian females with non-asian dating policy. I just focus more on making the best of what I've been given genetically. Do the best I can and if people don't like me, then that's fine.
Also I forgot to add, most of the women I have dated were non asian, and I've dated a lot of women. I'm only 5'7 so I'm not that tall. But I am charming and humorous. I think it is also important to see what motivates them to refuse dating Asian people/African/Caucasian... I personally won't immediately say that not dating a specific race or the people from a specific region is being racist, maybe some of them are being racist, but some of them might just have a different preference. Like, If I don't like eating apples, I hope that doesn't mean I discriminate apples.

I'm a white woman and I've been with my Vietnamese bf for 3 years. When we first started dating, people would constantly ask me how 'big' it is.
