We don't all come home on our feet. It's sad to see the loved ones watching their families come home in boxes. The family deserves respect too. The gave up someone. So many of my brothers and sisters never came home marching in boots.Death on either end is terrifying.
Bless you Fabian and your brothers for their service. I have family that were soldiers too and they’re all back and safe…thankfully. I understand that the actors are/were soldiers so that’s cool. This was written in the 90’s and the Chicks (Dixie Chicks) made in famous in 2002. It was written about a male soldier in Vietnam and Home Free changed it up to a woman soldier and current circumstances. I liked that. Loved Austin singing with Chance. Adam’s drum solo was sobering. Tim and Adam were in the video. Tim has cut his hair and has some gray in it now in case you didn’t know that. Good reaction!
This was released for Memorial Day....unfortunately this the reality today....it's not just guys that are killed in action anymore. That harmonizing at the beginning with Austin & Chance is sooooo good, and we need to hear more of that. God bless your brothers
Thank for this Home Free reaction. Sur, you're late to this party, but better late than never and I love that the HF cover switches up the gender roles and shows inclusiveness. I love how evolved HF is in the music they are producing. Cheers.
The original was done by The Dixie Chicks, was about Vietnam, HF changed it to today…a woman instead a man ai war, & the Middle East. It’s sad, factual of today.

😢😢😢😢😢😢She came "home"
The two are really vets💜
Home Free are 💜💜💜💜
😔
She came "home" in a coffin. She actually died in this song. Why would her name be called on the list of the local dead? Duh!!!!!!
@@scottrogers7242 Why the aggression on this beautiful, respectful song?
They changed the soldier to a woman in the original it was a man in Vietnam the girl is actually active duty soldier and the guy is a vet
Good to know thanks for the insight
I prefer the original premise. It is more powerful because the survivor is a teenager mourning her first crush.

It shows that women face the same dangers as the men.
The song begins with: "waiting for her army greens." Why did you think he was getting deployed?
