Been taking Butyrate for about a month now and have seen SIGNIFICANT improvements in my IBS symptoms. I've seen several Gastro Doctors and none have even mentioned this, so I'm glad I came across your video because it has helped me more than any doctor I've been to by far!
BUTYRATE ALSO MANAGES HEMATOMACHROSIS...And the doctors will not tell you that. At least not in my area. They were going to start doing liver biopsies and regularly taking blood from my son, but I did the research and got some butyrate and now my son is safe without procedures that would have made him suffer and get sicker. Blessings Dr. Jin...You ROCK!!
Wow. Never heard that ..my aunt has osteoparosis and byutarate stimulates blasts to form so I'm looking for info on that but she also has heamochromatosis.
After reading the good product reviews, I decided to try sodium butyrate. I first took a capsule every few days to test tolerance. Then I increased the dose to one capsule per day. After almost four months of taking it, I can say that I am able to eat foods that gave me difficulty because of the histamine. My digestion is regular and I no longer have loose stools. I also no longer feel dizzy and have the feeling that other nutrients are absorbed much better and have a stronger effect. I have more energy.
Your a God send Dr. Sung..I'm 61, .I've learned so much about health and my not so functioning body from your fantastic videos..Keep up the Great work and saving Lives.
I live in British Columbia, Canada, and have been watching your channel for a few years now. The way you explain things is perfect and to the point. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us Dr. Sung
Butyrate comes from the Latin butyrum, meaning Butter! Butter is very high in Butyrate. But the Low Fat and Vegan fanatics refuse to tell you this. Butter contains about 3 to 4% Butyric acid.
You need to eat 8 sticks of butter a day or more to get butyrate therapy dose. I’m carnivore and eat a lot of butter but 8 sticks is too much, so i take pills.

Dr. Sung, Which Butyrate supplement can survive the gut acid to get to the colon? Some same it can't easily do this.
Is glutamine the same as L-Glutamine??
Yes
I have gastritis atm. This is the 2nd time. Is butyrate capsuals okay to take for this condition?
I thought there would be a suggested dose. I am taking one capsule of sodium butyrate 3 or 4 times a day. Can we take too much?
Great info, thanks! My functional medicine doctor has me on a Butyric acid supplement. Is this the same as butyrate?
It is!
Gut bacteria produces butyrate from lactose, at least for most people whom lack the lactase enzyme.
Been on a restricted diet of handful foods for past 2 years.. How can I do this without having brain fog etc.. Everytime I try increasing Probiotic strains I get brain fog and anxiety
I know about this. I wanted to produce butyrate from butyric acid, but I find it too complicated, so I left it alone. Ghee is a good and cheap source of butyrate.
Plenty of a really good butter too I know it’s expensive but so are digestive pills and potions
My new favorite thing. Love ghee.
@@sylviahowe2240 you can make ghee at home in 15 mins. Way cheaper. Use any butter you like.
@@karenbrummond8507yeah but grass fed ghee is the important factor you are missing in making your own
WHAT ABOUT FIBER?
No mention of resistant starch or even fiber, being a key player in increasing SCFA's like butyrate?
Watch the video again. I mention a vegetable mash.
Calm your tots 😂
How much butyrate docteur?
@Dr. Jin W. Sung where can I find Butyrate to add to my daily supplements? Thank you.
mitozen has a probiotic/butyrate suppository that works well
Thanks for the Great explanation Doctor Sung ! I feel sad when talking about gut health issues nobody talk about diverticulosis ... This is a serious condition that almost killed me .... My question is how do we make sure the the butyrate go all way to my large intestine wish I need it the most ? Thank you
My reply with link keeps getting deleted. I also had diverticulitis & perforation. I'm starting on Tributyrate today after reading a clinical review by "ConsumerLab Butyrate supplements". Do a search on it for the article that specifically mentions Diverticular Disease. Good luck to both of us & many others...
@@chrispompano hello mate do you have a link where I can order the products thanks
Consumer Labs recommended "Healus Complete Biotic Tributyrin Based Postbiotic Supplement". I bought it off if Amazon. Not sure if it's available internationaly.
@@chrispompano how are you doing on the Healus now? Thanks!
@@shar7508 I'm not noticing any significant changes in my bowl/diverticula pain & still have slight blood in stool from my 2 attacks in 4/2021. Haven't had a colonoscopy. My colon must be badly irritated as I can feel stool passing from upper left back down the lower left side & its painful. I just started taking 2 at a time so I hope it will beneficial.
I've just purchased butyrate because I have arthritis in my knees back and neck. I'm hoping this supplement will help reduce my inflammation
Did it help?
@@c.a.6636 I didn't notice any difference to be honest
@@fractalofgod6324 How long did you consume it for?
@@samjarea about two weeks
@@fractalofgod6324 I only asked as I've just bought some and the site I bought from says this, ''We recommend taking Butyrate for a minimum of six weeks to realize the full effect.
While everyone responds differently, here's some general information on what you can expect when beginning a Butyrate regimen:
0-2 Weeks
Colonocytes are energized. Some people notice a difference within the first day of taking Butyrate while others notice improvement in their digestive health within the first week. As butyrate levels build over time, you will notice more positive changes.
2-4 Weeks
Works quickly to balance your digestive function, resolve leaky gut, support a healthy gut flora, and balance your blood sugar response (serum glucose levels), all while helping to keep you regular with well-formed stools*
4 Weeks+
Gradually builds a healthy gut structure over time, supporting your immune resistance, subsiding systemic inflammation in the gut, resolving mental fog, helping weight regulation, and improving your overall health''.
Maybe worth giving it another go.
Can’t you just use vinegar….
May I ask the best form of butyrate /more bioavaolable or allows it's natural production.
There is several forms below such as
Tributyrin
Butyrate acid
Colostridium butyricum
Liquid or capsule form
Do these promote cancer growth with active cancer too ?
I once worked with a Doc who said IBS means DDKS ( Doctor Don't Know Sht.) Pardon his expression.
Love this! Well said!😂spot on
