After reading the good product reviews, I decided to try sodium butyrate. I first took a capsule every few days to test tolerance. Then I increased the dose to one capsule per day. After almost four months of taking it, I can say that I am able to eat foods that gave me difficulty because of the histamine. My digestion is regular and I no longer have loose stools. I also no longer feel dizzy and have the feeling that other nutrients are absorbed much better and have a stronger effect. I have more energy.

If you are on a ketogenic or Carnivore diet, your body runs on ketones (butyrate) for fuel. Your gut bacteria can get all the butyrate they need directly from the bloodstream that supplies the intestines. No fermentation of fiber is needed. No fiber = no constipation, bloating, gas, or mucosal irritation. The gut microbiome will change with your diet and you will have what you need to support gut health. Just don't change your diet too quickly. It should be done over several weeks.
Adequate saturated fat is also needed to make the stool soft and pass with ease. After decades of IBD, cutting out the fiber and adding back beef with associated fat was all I needed to fix it. Dr Paul Mason has an excellent video on fiber for those interested.
If you're unwilling to go low carb, it makes sense to supplement butyrate. This source of butyrate should have been mentioned though.

@@Texasgirlinacrazyworldyou were potentially oxalate dumping. The body detoxes and removes plant toxins once they’re mo longer coming in through the body. This is a common misunderstanding about the carnivore diet. I’m 9 months in and 2 months of chronic diarrhea which is definitely oxalate dumping. See Sally Norton. You don’t need to be strict any diet but it may help you to focus in on what exactly may have happened as a result of whatever diet plus your previous eating regimen.

    Symptoms of low butyrate include:
    - Gastrointestinal issues (diverticulitis, Crohn's disease, IBS, etc.): irregular bowel movements, bloating, diarrhea, acid reflux, gas, abdominal pain, and other digestive discomforts.
    - Systemic symptoms: frequent illnesses, unexplained inflammation, joint pain, and fatigue.
    - Insomnia: waking up tired, difficulty falling asleep, or problems staying asleep.
    - Inflammation: abdominal pain, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, joint pain, mood disorders, body weight fluctuations, and frequent infections.
    - Insulin resistance.
    - Individuals might also develop worsening high blood pressure, allergies, arthritis pain, and other health problems associated with lower butyrate levels.

    • @MsTruth2020
      @MsTruth2020 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

What food is full of butyrate?
Butyrate is a major short-chain fatty acid produced during gut flora-mediated fermentation of dietary fibers.
Legumes (beans, peas, and soybeans), fruits, nuts, cereals, and whole grains are good sources of dietary fibers. Butyrate is also found in butter and cheese.
Emerging research suggests that SCFAs play a role in influencing the GBA, potentially having effects on brain health and function. Modulation of the microbiota-gut-brain axis could prove to be a pivotal treatment strategy for neurodegenerative diseases in the context of the modern medicine era.

      0-2 Weeks
Colonocytes are energized. Some people notice a difference within the first day of taking Butyrate while others notice improvement in their digestive health within the first week. As butyrate levels build over time, you will notice more positive changes.
      2-4 Weeks
Works quickly to balance your digestive function, resolve leaky gut, support a healthy gut flora, and balance your blood sugar response (serum glucose levels), all while helping to keep you regular with well-formed stools*
      4 Weeks+
Gradually builds a healthy gut structure over time, supporting your immune resistance, subsiding systemic inflammation in the gut, resolving mental fog, helping weight regulation, and improving your overall health''.
