I've definitely done this. I was trying to turn off my alarm one morning and had a migraine and didn't realize which button I kept pressing. I was so ticked that the alarm wouldn't turn off.
I once called 911 in my country here in the UK! All I heard was a voice coming from my pocket. I got out my phone and it said 911 emergency call. I just asked if I was going to get a fine, they said no and I put the phone down. The police didn't show up, in England you call 911 even though the number is 999 or 112. I've also accidently called the emergency services by dialling 112 thinking I was calling my operator, that's how I know 112 is the universal emergency number. Some callous moron where I live calls 999 on the phone boxes just to waste their time, I always ring BT operator to report it, not the police!
One morning I wanted to enter my password and I accidentally pressed emergency call. Then it was too late... the phone already rang 112 and when the operator picked up, I explained to the operator that I didnt mean to call them and it was an accident while being scared. Once I heard that she said its ok it happens, I suddenly calmed down and asked: "so im not going to get in trouble?" And she said no. Then i said goodbye and hung up. It turns out that Inothing happened that day.
I did this while ago it's so scary. I accidentally dialed the emergency and right away it dialed 911 for me and he said "911 what's your emergency" "need an ambulance" I said trying to be calm "no I accidentally dialed y'all's number by accident I was going to put in my password digits and dialed y'all I'm sorry and he just said okay thanks for telling us bye. Then I said okay bye I'm sorry again lol cause then I was a little spooked and luckily nobody has shown up or anything. What a relief 😮💨😅
I live in India, and dialled the emergency number here 112 by mistake. Well, not exactly dialled, I just downloaded a new app for emergency we have here, and was learning the features, when I accidentally clicked a button and the emergency service got notified immediately even without calling them. I immediately switched it off, but they called back, and I freaked out. I answered anyways, and the operator asked if i needed help. I explained the situation and apologized, and she said it's alright, and that made me relieved. I apologized again as I was so freaked out. It was just minutes ago, and I came here to see what happens in such situations.. Glad to know from the comments I'm not alone, seems like this is a universal accident 😄
my phone broke and I tried turning it on and failed but I ended up accidentally calling the number and I IMMEDIATELY hung up. This was like 3 minutes ago☠️
@@ihelpandplay because it's a flip phone, and on the bigger screen I was trying to turn it on. but I just shut it and turned on the smaller screen and without reading what it said I swiped and it called 911 (idek if that made sense)
I live in greece and i called 100 by accident i was at my friends house playing around and i had my phone on pocket and i was like panicking so i hung up and the police never showed up or not even call back so i am probably safe it was an accident i promise
