Did I miss something? Or was there no clipping when you were doing your sweep? Edit: I just realized this was from seven years ago lol. But hey! If you see this, I would like to know…
@@lkwdryan No clipping, signal was cleaner than I thought it would be. I dont have the vehicle anymore but enjoyed that system. That JBL MS8 was magic. There some other scopes I did in my channel if interested.
Question for you Bryan - When you mention the bump at 33.88kHz, but describe it at "hertz," I feel like I'm not following the scale on your X-Axis, which does appear to be in kHz. Should you be looking from 0 to 20kHz (as the maximal upper range) rather than 0 to 300kHz (Where the *audible* response curve is actually limited to that entire area occupied by the initial drop/bump), and not the 33kHz+ neighborhood (Which isn't audible)?
Jeremy Carlson very keen eye Jeremy. You are correct my scaling is wrong. I did a follow up video (linked in the show notes). For the rest of the story see this video starting at 3:38 th-cam.com/video/IVE9O88ZsHg/w-d-xo.html
