Today’s summer Sezane haul and try on is a very special one for me as I have two different categories with four items from Sezane to share with you which I’ve never tried from the brand before.
I feel that these items are perfect for the summertime, and I’ve had a couple of these on my wish-list for a few months. These are the types of items which I feel many women could easily add to their summer wardrobes no matter what size you are. Unfortunately, I can’t keep all these items so I’d love to hear your thoughts on which ones you think I should keep and which I should return.

I would keep the larger bucket basket. It’s quite lovely as well as being more usable and more classic. The other one is “cute” but definitely a trend look. Classic will last forever. Also I prefer the second sandal.

I think I may have the less popular opinion, but here goes: I like the first basket bag for you because it is so unique and it looks like YOU! It seems to me that of the two bags, it would be more secure in Paris, easier as a crossbody. I prefer the sandal with the heel, partly because of the heel. The walkable heel seems more versatile, as well as giving you additional height 😊 Have a fabulous week Lauren 💕

That first sandal is absolutely perfect. It will never look dated. I also love the second sandal. You cant go wrong with either one.

All items are lovely, would go for the classic bucket bag for sure and the second pair of sandals. It is a tough choice though!!!! Love the beautiful packaging of Sezane as well! The cotton bag is so nice to have and the blue and white paperbag is just so beautiful…

I think the second bag is more practical but I adore the embroidery on the bucket bag so much. I’d get the embroidered versions of the bigger bag :)

Everything is so lovely! I’ve had those Natacha sandals on my wishlist and they just never come back in my size. Keeping my fingers crossed they do before summer hits in Sydney. 😊 Love the larger basket bag as well.

The larger bag for sure especially as you travel a lot on the metro where there are gangs of pickpockets. Also like the second pair of sandals. Love your content!

I have a few pairs of Sézane’s shoes, I have bad feet and they have been such good quality leather that they have stretched to conform to my foot, no pain.

I think that Your choice with the sandals and the second of these bags is very well; and also both items go very well together. Like for summer holidays and weekend walks, eventually near or even at a beach. The other ("daisy") bag is lovely too and goes well with these outfit examples. Maybe the wider bag is just a bit simpler to handle and great it`s style.

I would definitely go with the larger basket bag! The typical "French girl" basket bag is a classic. The smaller one is cute but surely not as practical, especially since the bigger one has the two strap options. Both styles of sandals are beautiful and match the bag nicely, too. If you prefer the second pair, you should keep those. Best wishes!

I enjoy your reviews very much . I feel like I’m seeing the items in person because you give such good details . I had the Farrow raffia bag and returned it because of the closure . I liked the bag but the leather tie was so stiff it was not going to be convenient to open and close several times a day . I returned it and got the Justin basket bag in the heritage leather and love it ! I bought a French market basket on Etsy and it was to course/rough to wear against my cloths . I like both pairs of shoes I would keep the low vamp ones in heritage leather and maybe get the other style in a fun color 😊I have the Paula babies on my radar for my next purchase in black and the black /ecru color . BTW I love the little tea dress you are wearing , was there a link for it ? It is so feminine and summery looking .

I would buy a more classic bag. Raffia is just the trend at the moment. Neither would be my choice unless the larger one is used for the beach but I’m sure that’s not what you purchased it for.
Hi there, thank you for making the time to share your thoughts! You're right, I didn't purchase the larger one for the beach, although I could fit a towel and sunscreen in there... I think raffia is certainly more of a summer trend so these aren't bags I would choose for the other seasons - but having said that I was after a raffia bag specifically for summer ❤ appreciate your feedback on this and you can never go wrong with a classic bag
I would recommend the Justine bag as it is a classic and unlikely to make it to the archives (sale). The Farrow bag, while adorable is more niche and therefore more likely to make it into the sale. I agree with you about the Natacha sandals. I am also petite and noticed how well it lengthened the leg. But to be honest all of your selections were lovely.

Hi Lauren, I love the basket bag, it's timeless and it looks great. You should keep it. I have the Natacha sandals in gold. The Rosa sandals are also very nice, but the Natasha ones look better on my feet. I which you a very nice Sunday evening and a very nice week. Lots of love from Germany.

Yes, the Natasha sandals are a bit tight at the beginning, but once you have walked a bit in them, they get wider. Just like the Anja ballerinas.

That's great feedback to hear, I wore the Natacha sandals yesterday for the first time outside the apartment and they did feel a bit tight around the toes as I was walking so looking forward to them stretching out!

I bought the classic Justine basket tote recently (it’s $460 AUD 😮) however I returned the version with the brown leather handles and I’ve ordered the one with the gold handles. I’ve also ordered the Rosa sandals in the gold too! My wardrobe is full of light/pastel colours and I felt the brown clashed so I’m hoping the gold is a little bit more harmonious

Well this quite a conundrum what to keep, I say item 2 and item 4. The second bag is more better and spacious and definitely more you than the small bag with the string that could be fumbling. Item 4 can be comfortable for you . I say keep 2 and 4,while 1 and 3 back to the shelf 😂. Hope your Sunday is going well

I am glad that you did this video since you have tried on the two tan sandals that I am eyeing on ❤. (Side note I don’t understand why people refer Oran as a sandal even if they are flip flops or rather slippers - Santorini is the sandal version- don’t get it personal). Both of the raffia bags are beautiful but I think you made a better choice as considering the usability of Justine (it was lovely to hear its English pronunciation ❤)

The embroidered bucket bag is cute to look at, but the shape looks awkward when worn.
I also bought the Rosa sandals and absolutely love them! I tried the Natacha and I prefer the shape on my feet but they were not as comfy as the Rosa

I love Sezane, own some of their clothes and have a long wish list from them. However, I would not keep any of these items as I think they are not a good value for the money.
I wouldn’t buy their shoes mostly because despite the basic or unpractical design (apart from Paula babies), they are quite uncomfortable. I would rather opt for a shoe from an actual shoe company.
As for raffia bags, again I think they are not that practical and mostly limited to a casual summer look. For that price point there are much better and versatile alternatives. Or if you are really going for that style, much cheaper options.
With this being said, if I really had to choose between these, I would go for the raffia tote. I love the embroidery on the bucket but I really hate the bucket design and practicality in general.

Such difficult choices Lauren 🫣I have the raffia Farrow bag in the plain version. I purchased it this year and I love using it. That being said, I tried the smaller Justine bag and returned it because it was much too small. The Justine is on my wish list only I thought it might be too big for my petite frame. Seeing it on you makes me realise that it’s a perfect bag. I would lean towards keeping the Justine. For the sandals, the Natacha are definitely more flattering on the leg. I do think I would keep them and add the Rosa sandals in gold to a wish list 😊

Yes, it is difficult when each piece is so unique and lovely 😍 It's interesting to hear about your experiences with the Farrow bag and the smaller Justine bag - I felt the small size wouldn't be right for me so that's why I tried out the medium size. I feel the maxi size would be far too large for us petites! Thank you for the feedback on the sandals as well, I really appreciate it - any extra visual lengthening is a plus for a petite 😉
