    If you see 1:55 to 1:59 the video is missing frames because you most likely broke the tab on the outer plastic ring and edited it. That's why it all came out with the metal. Not that big a deal. I followed your instructions and the entire housing assembly that holds the lighter and heat warmer buttons came out broken. The critical step missing is minute 1:55. You should "gently" pull out the inner metal cylinder so the plastic ring remains in place. In orders to remove this ring you twist it like a knob to the left or right until a small protruding plastic nub on the ring meets a notch on the housing assembly this will allow the ring to come out easily. The video doesn’t show this so I just pulled hard and broke the ring and the housing.
    In any case. Thank for the upload.

    Can you tell me what kind of tool that is you used to uncluck the socket and pry it out?

      I believe that I used a curved pick for this.
