the rectangle headlight right in the midle its weird. With all attachments on the video its looks less ugly, but yamaha mt07 and 09 sucks.

Me too. Just seen old model next to new one and definitely believe new model looks better. Now the super duke 990 is a change too that has grown on me

Is the power linear?
I prefer the shape of the tank. I don't mind the headlight looks on either bike 23 & 24 models) as long as they do what they're supposed to do. I like the new seat as well but apart from that and a few almost insignificant changes... I'm pretty sure last gen can match the steering geometry by moving the fork legs up through the yokes and the discounted 2023 sp is superior for less than the price of the 2024 mt09. so it probably is all about looks than any real change.
I like the change to the seat. and looks like there's ram air scoops/openings in the frame too. It's getting away from the simple, raw simplicity that was introduced when the mt09 came out originally. That's not necessarily a bad thing given the tft screen is a huge improvement from the gen 1 and 2. Also still not sold on the headlight fairing though. It looks too small for the bike in general. 2nd gen still is the best looking mt09 overall

Not sure what's wrong with Yamaha, but they need to fire their designers. The engine is amazing, the is bike hideous. That goes for the ugly Tracer as well. I'm a 2017 Tracer owner and I can't get past the looks on these new models.
New tracer Is way Better looking..i have One...the old one especially on the front look like a scooter...you know Tmax ?😂
@vpower87 I wouldn't say scooter. Kind of praying mantis looking though. Not really fond of it either. I don't like the headlight/cornering light setup on yours. And the side fairings look weird as hell. They are trying to make it look like a transformer or something. Other than that I like the new Tracer. Especially with the new display.
Agree partly with the design especially the FACE! Uglier than the 2nd & 3rd gen headlamp. The 2024 headlamp & head look like a box to me. But the new tank looks better, and the pillion seat is more practical, although I would argue that the current MT-07 seat set look better than all MT-09 gens... As for the tail light, all gens are just fine, but I do prefer they look more modern & sharp & nakey-sporty

I like the screen and the grill "scoops" thats it. I can understand the seat for riding on the back wheel.
But the colour is boring, the headlight is boring and not god lookin, and the tank is awful at top view.
But keyless is good and cruise control 👍

@@Dixon34 IMO it looks better and Yamaha have addressed loads of things and improved the bike a lot in a very short space of time.
I much prefer the new tank and the seat. Headlight is better imo but still not great.
Not to discourage the owner of the 2023 but 2024 is more appealing and better looking than the old MT09
What planet are you on? This is a monumental upgrade in every way. The last gen looked downright gaudy with its huge swoop tank and retarded, unnecessarily high mounted headlight. This is what an updated MT-07 should look like. Huge performance updates too in brakes, clutch, riding position, etc.
