Great your lucky with the livery you got. I like the idea of this body set. But I'm not sure if I like to spend money on a thing which dependes on random.
Yeah I definitely got lucky with my #1 choice in color. The color was actually more important to me than the livery. I may not even use the livery decals at all. Most of the colors I can work with, except for the green and orange which I probably would've painted over.
I like the kit as all Vanquish kits do, but I'm not willing to pay for something and not be able to choose the decoration I like. In my opinion, that's a mistake.
I totally get where you're coming from. Although I luckily go the color I wanted (the actual livery decals didn't really matter to me, and I may not use them), I felt like it was ok, because I could work with most of the colors and paint over the orange or green panels if I got them. If you wanted the specific livery decals, then of course that would be harder to satisfy. Hopefully they will release them separately in the future. The main point for me was that it was a kit, and I always go for kits over RTR when available.
