We can all agree that Sonic has some very terrifying final bosses. Shame Devil Doom from Shadow the Hedgehog never got its own transformation sequence.
I know right I bet if there were actual cutscenes like the others had with some tense music, an actual feeling of desperation and that stuff I feel like Black Doom would feel more memorable to the rest of the fandbase. Personally I LOVE Black Doom and actually thought he was a good villain that receives way to much hate, he's not amazing but he's still pretty decent.
@TwilightLink77 Honestly... yeah. Kirby bosses really aren't as terrifying as people say they are. Though to be fair, Kirby fans usually just like to overexaggerate everything.
i wasnt scared, but i was never comfortable with imagining the sizable bodycount that comes iwth turning the city into a wasteland. It's even worse considering you ran through those streets the whole game.
@@Eichro True! I aparently have a phobia of things that dont seem natural. Like alien structures in subnautica. Chaos in the cutscene fits that aparently.
@@joseisaac9308 2 didn't really bug me, 4 I didn't understand that it was a fish, 6 horrified me, and perfect chaos in the cutscene STILL creeps me out.
My introduction to Sonic was the Sonic X anime, so I saw that before playing Adventure. I skipped the whole SA1 arc because I was so freaked out from Chaos' design. lol
Although I wish we got to fight Neo Metal Sonic in that sick initial design, that transformation scene never gets old, it's terrifying to see the sleek robot assemble itself into some hr giger abomination, i can't help but cover my mouth like amy
I remember I used to think the same thing, only because I saw him in fan works first. And I didn't really understand 16-bit games or their legacy. Good times of believing that Donkey Kong Country was made for GBA...
You know, you can really appreciate the jump in console generations between 3 and Adventure. Shame there wasn’t a mainline entry on the Saturn, despite there being a handful of games on it (3D Blast, Jam, and R) it’s weird to think that console was lacking in that area. Not for lack of trying granted, but the result is still quite the jump from the two games shown here.
I love it! I will combine all of those bosses into one very final boss in my Sonic Warped 3 where you collect 14 chaos emeralds as Tails or Sonic to become there Hyper forms!

Kirby final bosses: Are we a joke to you?

You mean the Devil's pet.
Yeah, I watched the fandub.
@@dantelawrence4676Zero from Kirby's Dream Land 3 stands out because that eyeball dripping blood was a first for a kid's game.
Everyone: most normal cutscene. metal sonic transformation: LETS GO BERSEK WITH THE CAMERA SO YOU DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING
Puts the madness in metal(lic) madness
Oh and lets his transformation scene like almost a minute long
Metal Sonic Overlord is by far my favorite transformation.
Respect for including Void, very underrated villain
Solaris still by far tthe coolest transformation :)
You're the first person I've seen that's used Sonic and Knuckles insignia as their profile picture
@@FarmYardGaming Well Sonic 3 & Knuckles is my fav 2D game and knuckles is my second fav hero character so ye
Void is incredibly underrated, but he’s so cool
Was anyone else genuinely scared of Chaos as a kid? I remember seeing it the first time and was actually terrified of that design.

Idk why, but chaos 2 gave me nightmares as a kid. Even now, he scares me little bit

Dark Gaia's Transformation is one of my favorite ones.
Especially Solaris.
Was waiting for Mecha Sonic to scream *”ILL CRUSH YOU”*
Perfect Chaos literally killed everyone in Station Square
The jump from '06 CGI to Unleashed is awesome
I love villain transformations.

8:54 They must've held Jason Griffith at gunpoint to get this kind of performance ☠
0:01 Wait! That Metal Sonic is an actual character?! I thought he was created by a fan!
I remember I used to think the same thing, only because I saw him in fan works first. And I didn't really understand 16-bit games or their legacy. Good times of believing that Donkey Kong Country was made for GBA...
Mecha sonic
Most people get him confused because of his more importance and relevancy in the SMBZ fan series.
in knuckles path and sonics path he is a bulked up metal sonic because metal sonic was still stuck on little planet
3:13 I know this wasn’t intentional on Sega’s part, but that looks like one of the robots that the Ancients built from Sonic Frontiers.
It may be tho 👀
The destruction of station square a dark day indeed good graphics though
For god's sake i can't imagine how many people died in station square in perfect chaos' scene
Nothing compared to Solaris. He erased multiple timelines.
Complete genocide on multiple occasions.
@@g.masterlordoftheg-force4770Solaris was less harmful because at least those deaths got erased
@@MynameMostexp Only because Sonic and Elise dealt with it.
If it was up to Solaris, everyone would’ve stayed dead.
I love how Solaris just barely appears on screen and immediately destroys the entire universe like it’s nothing

Perfect chaos and Metal overlord are the most terrifying bosses in Sonic games
Dark Gaia too
Devil Doom too tbh
I never played Sonic Shuffle. Boutta go watch a lets play
Same
Perfect chaos roar

7 Chaos and 7 super emeralds? Right?
@@IBL15 yep
Imagine seeing perfect chaos irl bro 😨
Imagine seeing Metal Madness/Overlord in real life. Imagine seeing that god damn transformation.
Probably would be too dead to see much

aaaand Metallic Madness takes up half of this video lol

I just want to say this but Void’s transformation looks like a Pokémon.
Why isnt the biolizard here?
When did it transform?
@@g.masterlordoftheg-force4770 Well, he merged together with the Colony So...
