Came for the Zomboid, stayed for the Fallout! I haven't played F3 in years and this was a lovely (albeit bloodsoaked) stroll down memory lane. The scope of that game blew me away!
I've tried the no "fast travel" thing. It's a hassle when you have sticky, shorty, red, Sydney, Jericho. On very hard difficult. But that's what makes the wasteland journey. Save after every battle
The difficulty does not make them health sponges. Once you pass level twenty, they start to die quicker even with power armor. Right now, i'm in point look at Level Fourteen, and they can still hold their own.
This popped up in my recommendation so I put it on while sorting some stuff and it was both peaceful and interesting. I dig your selection of music. Awesome work dude
Definitely do it in real life when you're done. Spent a week over in that area and it was very fun. Goodsprings and camping in the Mojave were the coolest
I did the same too for both this game and New Vegas. It takes a while, DLCs included for both, but in the end….it is worth it. So much to see, so much to do, stuff to collect, stories to remember. Every square mile of both the Capital and Mojave Wastelands, I did. Max stats, unique weapons, and all. Nostalgia as a pro and longtimer of the series. 👌💯😎
Fo3 may have it's issues but you cannot deny how much of a freaking vibe it is. I couldn't watch a video like this about fonv honestly, and certainly not fo4 despite thoroughly enjoying them all just about equally. Fo3 just got different with the vibes
Honestly in all my years I’m still not sure if I’ve been everywhere and seen everything this game has to offer. This and new vegas being my two favourite games of all time it’s staggering to think about what I’m yet to see. Even if it’s something small, I’d be happy. Also I Love this video!
1 intelligence crazy, I may be wrong but im pretty sure with low intel you gonna level up super slow and not have like any skill points. That’s pure torture 😂
Yeah I have no idea why he did that -- I always put it to 9 and immediately run to the Science Lab and boost it to 10 with the bobblehead. Usually before getting to level 3, to maximize skill points
@squareeyes5907 Lol I know it didn't, and I commend you for that, but this is like cutting off your left foot before a journey just to say you were able to do it with only one foot
I recently did an explore all locations challenge for the reillys rangers quest. I think i got about 3600 caps. I even managed to get the vault 87 map marker which took me about 100 radaways
In this case, Arkansas isn't pronounced like Kansas. Its pronounced Ar-kin-saw. the locals might even offer a different way to say it. South has a weird way to say things. Like Louisville KY, they pronounce it lou-vull essentially.
Luck gives you +2 to every skill and +1% critical hit chance per point of luck, it does not affect loot drops in anyway. At least you were able to kill things faster.
Playing back through for myself after maybe more than a decade and trying to go to every location cause when I was younger I was scared 😂. Also always thought 3 was better than NV but after the monstrosity of a layout downtown is with all the metros, 3 by itself seems like a dlc to NV
In goodsprings Nevada they are holding a 36 hour long fallout festival. My friends and I ate at the place that hosts it and the food is killer. They have a dope ass xbox 360 setup you can play on and look at all the art. We went to Primm searchlight hoover dam and goodsprings and Las Vegas. All very cool. Goodsprings was the best though
@@matthewbrady327 I didn’t find much going on there except a bunch of super mutants but upon some further research it seems there is quite a bit of lore behind the location! My bad for missing it
I hate that I'm like this, but I was instantly thrown off by your intelligence stat being set to one. This net you a total of 360 skill points to distribute throughout the game, versus the nearly 700 points you'd've had with an intelligence skill of 10. Just sayin.
I didn't even take fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Comprehension_(Fallout_3) (bc of the low int) and I managed to collect all the skill books too so could've been even more powerful!
I think it’s prettttttty sad that fallout nv is the fan favorite of the franchise cuz fallout 3 should. It’s such a good game and is so underrated, great vid!
Agreed, I guess f3 was the first one I played so it has a very special place in my heart, but also it felt more gritty and a real post apocalyptic game
@@squareeyes5907 Fallout is more post-post apocalyptic, society has rebuilt itself in small communities and isn't really at risk of falling apart in any of the games and the world has stopped ending.
will always prefer explroing the shithole that is the capital wasteland than the mojave , i remember finding some random bandit in the metro that was mixing wonderglue with mole rat meat in some machine , the meat once mixed heals you for 40 hp , which is pretty useful

Oh for sure - although i'd prefer if the difficulty didn't just make them health sponges. The fast travel only sucked when going through downtown DC

Everyone focuses upon the negativity of FO3's Story, but the Free Exploration is the game's strongest feature.

Such a cool video! Maybe I should do a similar run next time. Thanks for posting this!
Great video, love Fallout 3, The Capital Wasteland might be my favorite map in a video game
I need one for every Fallout game
rarely write comments but this video is really well put together
would love more fallout 3/ fnv content (:
OK I don't comment often but truly. I would love for you to continue. I thoroughly enjoyed this video. This is my niche.
I’m going to watch this eventually. Just gotta do it myself first so I don’t get spoiled

Dude soloing charnel house with 2hp is on another damn level. Hate that spot because fallout and collision meshes suck 😂😂
Yeah it wasn't ideal, camping behind a tree
I'd have to personally disagree. 3 has a very underrated world but New Vegas' is more diverse with more quests and things scattered throughout
Fallout 3 and Silent Hill - Pure depressive mood you can bask in.
