Back on Edinburgh's Royal Mile, we visit an old cemetery and a historic cathedral.

- This week we're back on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. We visit the Calton New burial ground, have a mooch around the local charity shops and pop into St Giles Cathedral to gaze in amazement at it's gothic majesty.
Along the way we find possibly our favourite charity shop vinyl record find ever...

All our videos are hand made from 100% organic ingredients ;). Our content is mostly filmed on a GoPro 11 with a Rode fluffy microphone to keep the wind noise down, with occasional bits on an iPhone13. We also use a DJI Mini 3 drone which we're loving getting to grips with.
We make our own music using GarageBand and the videos are edited in iMovie.

What a fun video! Had to giggle when you showed the Herb Alpert "whipped Cream" cover. I inherited my parent's album collection and I actually have that one. Quite good music though!

In my Moms album collection she had the Whipped Cream cover and the white cover of The Beatles on reel to reel and every LP of Elvis. The cathedral is gorgeous love all the stained glass and memorials. Can't wait to see the cemetery on Places of the Past. I hope you and yours have a wonderful and blessed week.

Hurray! One of our happy places! We met and got together there many moons ago! Our first drink was in The Library Bar.

Really interesting tour of Edinburgh! I didn’t know they had a timeball tower - we have one too. My grandmother had some Herb Alpert but I’m pretty sure she didn’t have that one 😂😂😂

Iain, Thank you for showing the plow at the back of the statue of Adam Smith in Edinburgh. I have been thinking about the plow gravestone symbol since you first showed it and I am grateful that you solved that mystery of what the symbol was.

I used to have his Herb Alpert's Tijuana Christmas album in which the usual suspects from the Crimbo selection are given the Herb treatment.
Hard to credit that he went onto mega success as the co-founder of A&M Records.
I didn’t know he was that “A” until I researched the album.

They do occasionally shot blast some of the old buildings when they’re being renovated or restored. Come up a nice orangey-brown colour but then look out of place.
