Ah Thor .. he is one of those characters I've really liked from childhood, I liked how Asgardians talked and I enjoyed the fantastical off earth adventures most of all.
I still hold out hopes that one day the British comic 2000AD and the Judge Dredd standalone comics will cross your path. I would love to hear your views on them. 🤞
Hello Michael Hello. I ordered the first five Essential Thor Volumes. I'm gonna get them in a month, I hope. It's gonna be a great read. I wanna enjoy every page. Thanks.
I've grown rather fond of Roger. He maintains quite a calm demeanor in these troubling times. I have the feeling that he has seen it all, and it hardly effects him anymore, although it may have been upsetting to him in the past. In fact, he may have been severely traumatized judging from his expression. In fact, I feel sorry for Roger in a way. Have you sought professional help for him?
@@michaelk.vaughan8617 that was kind of you. I’ve noted that therapists often make a great meal for certain clients. But then I am not Roger. He may benefit from a change in diet? Just sayin!
Odin was always an arrogant bastard, the difference is that in the last decade he's been shown up for what he is whereas for most of Thor's history all the other gods toed the line because of Odin's power and their misguided sense of respecting their All-Father. Every time he saved Asgard however from whatever threat can be read as preserving his status quo - protecting the realm was secondary. As for Midgard, the adulation must still be nice after all the centuries (and I'm sure there are still those who worship the Vikings' deities).
That was a great run, but my favorite is coming up in the next volume: Even an Immortal Can Die! More Wein. More Buscema. Plus Roy Thomas and Walt Simonson show up.
Hey, Mike! Please do a review of CrossGen's "Sigil" Omnibus from Marvel! It's a terrific space opera more people should know about and you'd really enjoy!
There was a beautiful black and white appearance by John Bolton, but I feel like it would've been better had there been a full-color Thor magazine along the lines of Heavy Metal or Epic Illustrated. Thor's world is so much more flamboyant and cosmic than Conan's; it needs to have that psychedelic color spectrum.
Re: "they hate the spoilers, they hate the spoilers". And yet they're constantly going online looking for information on the stories they don't want spoiled. Weird. 😐
A thousand thousand - when I went to school that was a million. Has that changed ? 🤭 Seems there's too much going on in this. A high point ! Hmmm. Nice tie anyway.
I’ve never read any classic Thor. Just never really got into the character. In fact, I think the only issues I ever read were when Jane Foster became Thor. Have you read those?
Hello my friend!!! Hello!!
Hello!
Well, Your cliff notes were good enough.... I don't need to buy the books now!!
You should read the dan jurgens thor run! It's not just my favorite Thor run , but it's one of my favorite comic runs ever!
A two in one girlfriend? Interesting… and utterly terrifying even for a god!

You won’t have to wait for long.

Excellent video. I missed you so much last Wednesday
Odin is off his rocker!

He went to a therapist. He told me the therapist tasted great.

Good point. Now I'm thinking of possible illustrators for such a project. Corbin? I'll think of someone at the weirdest time.

Michael has been a high level master spoiler on this one I must say. I feel tricked though.
I thought the Mango had the strength of a billion billion men?

Two in one girlfriend. Like a Nerds box?

I have. These are better.
Great video...now I have to go spend more money! My wife is going to make me stop watching your channel!
Well, if she ever does tell you to stop watching, merely reply “I Say Thee NAY!”
Disliked! Is it on purpose that you look similar to Egghead?
Yes. That’s the look I was going for.
@@michaelk.vaughan8617 I have more Epics than you. 277 total! 😎
@@AlphachadEpicCollector yes, I know you do.
Thanks for the love. To be honest, I enjoy perusing your collection on occasion and periodically name-drop you, and a few others, on my channel.
