In this Sunday in the life, we take a trip to Car Max to shop for a car for our oldest son, PJ. Give you a quick update on the pool opening AND a little story time of why we bought the house we currently live in. HINT it's all about the kids : 😉

It’s awesome that pj found an awesome car for him!!! Our family still owns my great grandad’s cape cod house and it’s small!!! I remember staying there as a kid!!! We came here so we could build a house for my family and my brother and his family so we could live together and homeschool together!!! They badly wanted to homeschool but they struggled and I know their son loves that he schools with my twins!!!
Yes they are really cute houses but can get crammed quickly! So neat that you all school together ❤️
The pool looks great. Brian and I bought a rolling pin from Teen Challenge. Can’t wait to see what God brings you all!

This Saturday we're finally posting a video of us opening our pool back in June. The water was in good, clear blue condition then. Sadly, with all that's transpired (since Father's Day) we haven't been able to keep up on it (especially with Meagan and Brendan gone as they usually help) so our water has gone back to the color of yours in this video. But like you said, it won't take long to get it back clear again. Our pool is actually a salt water pool with a chlorine generator. We like it a lot! Also, we have a Teen Challenge near us (within 15-20 minutes) and our band has visited there to share a worship night with the guys. It was lots of fun and a great time in God's presence!
Isn't it crazy how finicky pools can be?! That's so wonderful you guys have a teen challenge around you and you can be part of it. So many changed lives through that ministry it's beautiful. Looking forward to watching your next video!

Thank you for sharing. Jeff's plant is building electric cars now. He said the batteries for them are $20,000 for the cheapest. I don't know if that is for all the brands though. I am sure Pat knows as a firefighter that if they catch on fire you can't put them out, you just have to let it burn until it stops. Not trying to scare you guys away from it, I just don't like those things about them.
Woah that is wicked expensive! We do know about the fire danger, I guess they can put it out eventually but it's much harder. Stay tuned on the car situation..... 😉!
@@TheWhites6 we've watched videos when they caught fire and the firemen just have to keep everyone safe and away and watch it burn. There is something in the batteries that won't extinguish. I can't remember what it is.
I believe they are lithium ion batteries...could be wrong but yeah pretty dangerous. Pat has said, he'll never buy an electric vehicle.

Awe Kim, that's awful. I hope they got you in! Pat has a tooth that needs to come out and he couldn't get an appointment till the end of August!
