The world has evolved into a digital landscape. People are friends with people across nations and the globe. Niantic is stuck in the past. I’m all for a bonus for on-site participation slight damage buff or extra rewards. Maybe slight candies or stardust boost. Remote access isn’t just for remote people either. Game restrictions on gameplay are stupid. No way around that. 10-40 people. Give me a break. That’s just asinine.
6:44 the thing is, Green passes are more valuable because you can use them for GBL and raids, again Nerfantic is beholden to a game structure that’s stuck in 2016,2017, the pandemic era was best because it showed what the future of Pokémon go COULD be, embracing Remote raid online communities instead of ostracizing us
Yeah, I have trouble finding four people to play with, much less 40. This is why I only have one shadow legendary Pokemon. I’ll probably never have gigantimax ones.
I live in the capital city of Australia. Saturday raiding just finished here. My local raid group finished 0 gigantamax raids. My brother lives in a country town. They didn't even meet to attempt there because the community is so small, they figured they wouldn't stand a chance.
@@dittobase About 50% of our raid group used to be local but have since moved away (so they raid remotely with us). Of the remaining 20ish about 15 could actually attend the event (2 drove an hour away to join a bigger raid group with a better chance of success). Of those who attended a few were casual or hadn't played enough during Dynamax so all they had was a few unleveled dynamons. We tried 5 Gigantamax raids and failed all of them.
I kinda wish you could attack it then the next idk 40 people who come along could attack it then later if we beat it. We get like a reward to catch the pokemon.
100% agree. And maybe you can re-do it youself every 4 hours or every day and the raid stays until it's defeated. Thus someone can even solo one if no-one else plays in their country town.
When I saw dynamax come to the game I thought it was addition to the game. Basically mini raids anyone can do. But making the high tier raids SO hard that you would need over 10 people just ruins all the positives I felt about it
Hey welcome in! This video is the most critical I have been here on TH-cam. I try to keep it pretty positive, but when I found out some of my friends couldn’t make it out this weekend, I had some thoughts to get off my chest 😅 thanks for watching and I hope you like my other videos too!
I just don’t get the raid only rule. I feel like the thrill of hunting strong Pokémon in the wild that can be built up to compete against raid bosses is the whole point of the game. Now wild spawns mean nothing because dynamaxing is so segregated. And only a month of dynamax raids with two rotations of starter Pokémon…really? Every week should’ve been a set of new Pokémon with a variety of typing to give us the opportunity to have all of our counters for these in person raids only. What an abysmal rollout
This should be raided remotely, especially with how much the no of trainers expected/needed to defeat it. Atelast rural players can have a chance at these gigantamax, especially since these are rated as 6-stars
This is a perfect example of my point here. If we could remote these, even just 1 or 2 and just for this weekend only, you’d be able to experience Gmax. Hopefully on Halloween, for Gmax Gengar, you’ll be able to raid with your normal group!
I live original in rural part of Croatia but before 5 years I moved to Norway for work so i know the rural part struggle of not having people to do raids with...but also now who TF will combine 10 people at the same time When I go to raids in Oslo there is if 5 - 6 people that join the raid 5 min after it started...but who will combine 10 people for 6 star raids....this will be a shit show event and not in a good way
I am hopeful that it will still be fun. I’m also curious to see if we really need 10 people. Maybe that suggestion is “10 lower level trainers” and we can still take them down with 5-6.
As someone who has had his community completely destroyed by niantics decisionmaking and greed and therefore now is a solo player, i am quite mad about Gigantimax. I like the dynamax system. It's a fun little thing to do. I cannot see why Gigantimax cannot be done solo. You can only do one a day as it cost 800 max power or 2 every other day. I cannot see how you can grind it to where it becomes unbalanced. Unless you spend a huge amount of money, which is a win to niantic anyway. AND you cannot use them outside of the max power system anyway. What happned to catch them all? 10-40 players? I can't even find 1 player to play with. How the hell am i gonna find 40? Even when our community was alive and at it's high point several years ago, we would never be that many to a raid. I ask again this time in bold for emphasis? WHAT HAPPENED TO CATCH THEM ALL?
Agreed. These people who kept commenting about the game should be played outside has never lived in a rural area themselves and is just speaking out of privilege 😂😂😂
In all seriousness, there is almost no incentive to raid gigantamax currently, the shiny odds aren't lower than normal, they can't be used except in other dynamax battles, the IV floor is nice I guess but I still won't get a hundo and the fact I can only do two raids a day is just kind of wack. All in all I just kind of don't care anymore which is sad because the mechanic is 2nd only to Mega imo
I feel like making it remote enabled would be the best thing for ALL people if they want highest participation especially when launching something that's such a huge draw for everyone
I respectfully disagree that Gmax intro is a net negative for the community. The amount of candy involved in growing a Pokemon to level as well as Dmax and now, Gmax moves - makes very clear that this is 'end game' or higher/group level content. There is a lot of content in Pokemon GO. Not everyone needs everything handed to them on day one. With respect.
I sincerely appreciate your feedback. I don’t feel like it’s net negative, so if that’s how it came across, I should be more thoughtful in how I present my criticism. I think it’s awesome we are getting Gmax in GO, I just think end game content could be more inclusive WITHOUT handing stuff to players for no effort. I love a challenge.
Hi Ditto, stumbled across your channel. I'm a 20 time GLB Legend. I like to help smaller content creators get going. If you ever need a pvp slant or input on your videos let me know I'm glad to help. I've been on leaderboards, and have been featured on Zyoniks and HomeSliceHenry's channel. He and I are best friends in game. Anywho I can send you my disc if you want any help! Good luck and keep going! :)
Hey there, I am interested in getting better at PVP and eventually doing more PvP content. Wanna hop in my Discord and send me a DM? discord.gg/dittobase

5:28 Nerfantic is too spiteful towards the remote raid community, dope vid too
Thanks

I’m really sorry that sounds so frustrating 😭 so you all met up and attempted but were not able to complete it?

Interesting idea

So glad TH-cam recommended me this video, I had never watched your content but seems pretty good! Awesome video, I agree with the suggestions

A lobby system where your party joins 10 more random party's
That’s an interesting idea, reminds me of Monster Hunter Now.

Would love to do the battles, but had obligations and not even really sure where I will be will have a spot available to battle

Absolutely great video. Completely agree.

Great video, criticism was valid and well constructed
Thank you
The ASMR pogotuber
Lol good thing or bad?
the only way they could’ve saved gigantamax would be making it better than mega’s…no berries from my gigantamax snorlax? i’m out
Brb hunting Shiny Gigantamax Gengar
I'm really hoping it can be done with just four high level trainers but I guess we'll see.
I feel like I am that friend in germany
You might be 🤔

I’m sorry about your remote community 😭
Is it have to be max out the party pokemon in order to defeat the 6-star G max battle with only 10 people?
We don’t really know yet. It’s not clear exactly how difficult Gmax battles will be.
Agreed. These people who kept commenting about the game should be played outside has never lived in a rural area themselves and is just speaking out of privilege 😂😂😂
100% agree. Great idea horrible execution by Niantic
First comment, told you I would get it some day

Do you think all end game players live in cities?

Side note: Gigantamax Gengar looks hilarious
I see your point but there are really dedicated players out there who have no one to do this with and are screwed and that's just not fair
