Please make another video that uses relative path instead of absolute path, Work like server folder I mean when we select an item it moves to a specific folder in our project folder and then this folder be used as relative path in outlr database so when moveing the database no problem come's with files that are addes in the database. Hi Austin, thanks so much for your tutorials and coding. For this particular function, after I open the file for example xlsx or docx file and do some Editing and then Ctrl-S to save, will it save the changes? or it will save as new file? I am really considering to purchase this functions, thanks
I downloaded this and it worked perfectly on my split database well worth the money, the only issue I have now is this, Instead of distributing the front end to everyone on the network I used a link to the front end so that when I update the front end on the server everyone has the updated version, the problem is with the image and document storage it creates a local file on the individual users computer that uploads a document or image instead of on the server where the frontend and backend are hosted, any suggestions or is there a way around this?
Thank you for downloading the sample file. For multiple users, you should save the database file on the network folder and change the filepath or location to save your documents. Don't save to C: drive.
I used the American English version. I don't know it support or not. I think the VB code should be used for all regions, but just your setting on your window and MS office.

But it does not work on multiple environment since the file is in personal folders not in share folders. right ?

austin72406 OK. Have you tried to pick a Chinese or Arabic file and save it in your program and see whether there's a bug? :)
no, but I see other people did. they use the caption and save data in their language. The VBA code still in English.
