Laughed at Satoshi's not-so-excited face when it's time to taste the cinnamon bun spread on bread 😆 I don't really care for Cinnamon, either. Not hate it, but if there's another flavor side by side, I definitely not choose cinnamon 😊
I live near Seattle & we have several Trader Joe’s stores. I’m going to try the soup, for sure! I’ve purchased other soups like Roasted Tomato & Pumpkin soup; which are both so good! I also get their mini quiche…my favorites are the Mexican cheese & Lorraine. Really yummy! I love cornbread…Southern US gal here so I know how to make cornbread! I crumble it up in a bowl of beans, like pintos or Navy, with diced sweet onions, tomatoes & pepper juice. Heaven! I also make cornbread dressing when I bake chicken or turkey. I never stuff the birds. I bake them with onion & lemon…oranges are good as well…stuffed inside. I’m going to try the cornbread crisps though! And the harvest chips; I love goat cheese and usually have crackers & cheese, grapes & wine at night. I’m a writer so these are good snacks to have close by! Thank you both for your chats; I love seeing Japan through your travels!
Satoshi looked so scared before he ate that bread with the cinnamon spread on it.😆 I love Trader Joe's! I always get those ghost & bats chips every year... not only are they yummy but so darn cute.👻 And I'm planning on going to TJ's in a couple of days so I'm gonna look for that soup, it looked good.😊
Ah those maple biscotti cookies look sooo good, and Satoshi's description of it makes me want to try it even more!! Those cornbread chips are my favorite too, love the sweet & salty crunchy combination!
The fall leaves chips are beautiful. I love them in soups. The fruit salsa is really good too, it goes great with goat cheese. The ghosts and bats are so cute, I never saw those.
Trader Joe’s is the best! I was there today! The hard thing is if you like something, their products are mostly all seasonal so you have to wait a year for it to return…if it does return…
Or they discontinue it. 😢 Maybe you’ve seen them, but they used to have matcha cookie sandwiches. I think it was called Matcha Joe Joe’s? But yeah, I miss those cookies so much!
I really felt for Satoshi when he ate the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. They are very nostalgic in their flavor/texture, but very sweet for sure compared to most other peanut butter desserts. I bet you all would make great pumpkin soup. It tastes lovely even if you make it sweet or savory. It's easier to imagine in the vein of potato soup or corn potage!
I am really glad you went for the bread. You can not have soup with out bread. Haha the cinnamon hate is real. I love Cinnamon. I try to cook with it at my house but my wife also really really really really does not like cinnamon or nutmeg. It makes it hard for me to make seasonal foods from the south in the US with out it. That bun spread is sooooooo good. I really envy this taste test! You should make some hot apple cider. 1L Apple Juice Very small sprinkle of Salt 2-3 drops of Vanilla 1 tsp of Brown sugar 2 Mikan peeled and seperated Couple shakes of cinnamon or a Cinnamon stick Put everything everything in to a pot and bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer. Reduce the liquid to 3/4 for a light cider or 1/2 for a strong one. Drink Hot or cold. It will make you think of Christmas in America.
Best Reese's style! (the Easter Eggs and Christmas trees are the same!) More Peanut Less chocolate! Very sweet that's true. Maple flavor IS Noble!!! Great way of explaining it! I love maple!
The first Trader Joe’s I went to was back in 1986! I was in my early 20s, had my first full time job at a clinical office and my two bosses gave me a list of things to go pick up at Trader Joe’s, in Manhattan Beach, California! It’s still there! There weren’t many TJ’s around yet but I thought that was one interesting store instead your everyday grocery store. I live in the Central Valley in CA, and I shop occasionally at Trader Joe’s that’s near my neighborhood. I haven’t been in there in a couple of months, I need to see (and buy) some of the Fall theme products! 💖😁🍂🍁🍂🍁
When I read "Autumn snacks from Trader Joes" I think Satoshi HATES cinnamon LOL Butternut Squash is very sweet as well. Hope you enjoy the fall flavors! (as an aside, if you like cornbread, try getting some Jiffy cornbread mix from Amazon and mix it with canned "Cream style corn". It's absolutley amazing baked together.
I hope you also got the Autumnal Harvest Creamy Pasta Sauce! It you like the soup, the pasta sauce is the next step up divine. My favorite items from the TJ's fall line-up.
You two are so cute especially when it came to the cinnamon cracker and spread the look on Satoshi face was priceless, he really didn't want to eat it yet funny to watch 😄. Definitely the soup and cornbread crackers for me to . Oops I forgot the ghost chips to.🧡👍
I was waiting for this and I’m so glad everything came in good condition! This was a hilarious video and it makes me so happy to see you guys review and enjoy the goodies! All the best to you two ❤️
As much as I like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, I liked making my own chocolate and peanut butter treats in Japan. I'd buy a Meiji chocolate bar and a tub of peanut butter spread. After I broke up the chocolate bar into smaller blocks, I'd dip them in the tub of peanut butter. Japanese peanut butter is so much sweeter and creamier. The chocolate isn't as sour, either.
Oh my gosh!!! I just got inspired ... all the way from Japan ... to go to my local Trader Joe's to buy the things you have tried. They need to sponsor you ! LOL Great video, thank you!
You guys are so cute! I can’t wait until you test Christmas treats with minty goodness! Maybe you should do a vlog of holiday drinks from Starbucks, just sayin’ 😆
I saw this video after most of these items are gone. My favorite TJs fall item is Green Apple Seltzer. It appears in September and is gone by mid October. I must have bought 12 bottles this year.
Please Satoshi, never feel forced to eat cinnamon and liquiroce, I know a lot of viewers find it funny to see someone suffer but food should never be forced like that. I noticed that a lot of the treats that are send to you include cinnamon/liquorice because they know you don‘t like, and to see someone wants to resist but does it for the audience makes me feel pensive. Just wanted to say, to say NO is nothing bad :)
Come to think of it, I haven't seen Reese's PBCs, but National Azabu must have them, even Jupiter in Nogata, or Carnival in Kichijoji. See's Candies PB bonbons are great too but they closed down MANY years ago!
@@TabiEats Actually though, they're not very healthy, and if you want a "real" PB experience get a milk chocolate bar and spread some Skippy's in between. MUCH tastier! 👺
Someone left those crisps at my house after a party and my roommate threw away the box and put them in a bag, so I had no idea what they were. Thank you for solving the mystery Shinichi and Satoshi lol.
@TabiEats I would think that Resse's Peanut Butter Cups is in the 甘い過ぎる category. Too sweet for Japanese Audiences. I don't think I could sell Pecan Pie in Japan!😂
The Reese's shapes are my least favorite, the mini ones are my favorite since they have a thicker chocolate layer 😁 Trader Joe's actually makes a dark chocolate peanut butter cup which is our absolute favorite!
Love Trader Joes! Wish they would come to Australia but our Aldi is part of “Aldi Sud” empire so it will never happen. Trader Joes is part of “Aldi Nord” which have the territory of USA 🙁 .. Such clever products and generally healthier I think.
Shinichi lived in Philadelphia?? That makes me feel like I may have bumped into him at one point in my life 😂 have you ever seen a TH-camr that you feel you've seen before irl? No? Just me being a stan??
I am in Europe right now and I know what you are saying about The US having to much sugar. I really wish they would just make our snack with less sugar 😔
I’m surprised that Japan doesn’t have autumnal soups with chestnuts or kabocha squash. I tend to think of Japanese people eating lots of root vegetables.
interesting you guys don't find the ghost chips salty. To me, they remind me most of the flavor of Mcdonald's french fries, only because I haven't had them since I was a kid. This is great for me because I'm due to go to Trader Joe's (maybe next week)! and I"m always looking for new things to try. I'm looking forward to the corn bread chips! My favorite thing to get is the cookie spread. This next shopping trip is going to be super exiting!
Maybe Reese's cups are no longer sold in Japan because Japanese people would realize that the peanut cream they always get at the supermarket is not actually peanut butter and those companies would go bankrupt. This is my conspiracy theory.
I do not understand why Satoshi has to suffer eating things that he doesn't like, I am on his side if he stopped tasting the food regardless of whether it was given or sent to him.
Cinnamon is not a common food for Asian folks, especially those who are born oversea. I know, cinnamon bon is one such food, and the first bite taste great, then the second bute, one feel like tossing it in the garbage because of the overwhelming sweetness of the sugary cinnamon. Cinnamon by itself hold another set of challenges and danger, which is why most people can not even eat a spoonful without gagging if neglecting to drink water. Besides, too much plain cinnamon can result in a trip to the hospital with possible damage lung.
Love Satoshi's sence of humour
Cinnamon bun spread comes up "thank you for watching everybody" 😂 😂 😂
I love Satoshi's worried look when you pulled out the Cinnamon Bun spread. I love cinnamon but get that not everybody else does.
Can't wait to see Satoshi make his version of the soup. I would've grabbed a bunch of the fall leaf chips.
Satoshi's reactions are so funny. The sugar rush he got from the Reese's was almost as funny as the one he had with that super spicy ramen.
The “I hate cinnamon…” face in the thumbnail. 🥺 Poor Satoshi
Trader Joes during the fall season is my version of an amusement park, lol. Love it.
Laughed at Satoshi's not-so-excited face when it's time to taste the cinnamon bun spread on bread 😆 I don't really care for Cinnamon, either. Not hate it, but if there's another flavor side by side, I definitely not choose cinnamon 😊
that was definitely 45% trepidation and 38% dread.
19 : 32 " only this piece " - hehe Satoshi's reaction is so cute 😘

He looked like he was trying to be polite. Hmmm yes complex xD
I know poor Satoshi ❤
Satoshi's face is epic! Loved this video so much. So fun to watch!!!
Absolutely appreciate and enjoy all of your videos. It always adds a smile to my day. Thank you both!
Ah those maple biscotti cookies look sooo good, and Satoshi's description of it makes me want to try it even more!! Those cornbread chips are my favorite too, love the sweet & salty crunchy combination!
Poor Satoshi with all that cinnamon. He deserves a beer for being such a good sport and trying it
I second that opinion that maple is a noble flavor :)
I enjoyed watching these 2 wonderful people
French toast with the cinnamon bun spread?
I love the reese’s peanut butter cups, but they really should use better chocolate on them
Trader Joes makes a really good Dark Chocolate peanut butter cup.
The fall leaves chips are beautiful. I love them in soups. The fruit salsa is really good too, it goes great with goat cheese. The ghosts and bats are so cute, I never saw those.

9:40 Cinnamon Bun Spread - hardest I’ve ever laughed on Tabi Eats. Please try more cinnamon treats, LOL 🤣🤣🤣
Hey guy's Trades Joe's love that store love when you do this kind of video thanks for sharing take care 😘❤️😘🤩🥰

Ok but your profile photo scared the shit outta me
I hope you also got the Autumnal Harvest Creamy Pasta Sauce! It you like the soup, the pasta sauce is the next step up divine. My favorite items from the TJ's fall line-up.
That soup looks so good! I don't like pumpkin spice or too sweet things either, so I feel for Satoshi this time of year.
The soup is so good. When fall comes I stock up on it.
You two are so cute especially when it came to the cinnamon cracker and spread the look on Satoshi face was priceless, he really didn't want to eat it yet funny to watch 😄. Definitely the soup and cornbread crackers for me to . Oops I forgot the ghost chips to.🧡👍

Great job, Avian & Suzette! (not sure if I spelled it correctly) Fantastic range and selection for Satoshi and Shinichi to try out.

Hi! Hope your having an amazing day! Love your videos!
I like harvest soup and cinnamon bun spread and cornbread chips looks so good yummy I'm going to get some mahalo to you both much aloha ❤️
I enjoyed this video. I have never been to Trader Joe’s. I don’t know why. I love your hoodie and jacket 😍
Satoshi's reaction to cinnamon is priceless ;)
I won't forget to buy the cinnamon bun spread at Trader Joe's
I dont go to Trader Joe's often but love cinnamon so the cinnamon bun spread sounds interesting.
Poor Satoshi and the cinnamon things 😂
My favorite food this time of year is my dad's pumpkin souffle (is pumpkin pie minus the crust), corn pon, and cranberry sauce.
I love your channel!!
You should crumble some of those cornbread crisps into that soup.
Oh my gosh!!! I just got inspired ... all the way from Japan ... to go to my local Trader Joe's to buy the things you have tried. They need to sponsor you ! LOL Great video, thank you!

Love satoshi 🥰🥰🥰
oishii sounded like he said holy shit and caught himself halfway and stopped
Reese's pumpkins are so delicious 😍🤤
Everything looked great. I haven’t been to Traders for awhile! I guess I need to go.

14:38 those are cute! 🥺😍
I love That hoodie it’s fresh
We have cabocha here in the Midwest now. They consider it a squash. I love it but I don’t make it in the Japanese style.
What a crack-up, watching Satoshi eating the cinnamon spread…😅
That is my favorite soup too! 🍲 😋
Cinnamon detector in fine form lol
Come to think of it, I haven't seen Reese's PBCs, but National Azabu must have them, even Jupiter in Nogata, or Carnival in Kichijoji. See's Candies PB bonbons are great too but they closed down MANY years ago!
I haven’t seen them in Nogata’s Jupiter for years now. I’ll keep an eye out for them because I enjoy them now and then
@@TabiEats Actually though, they're not very healthy, and if you want a "real" PB experience get a milk chocolate bar and spread some Skippy's in between. MUCH tastier! 👺
Shinichi, you've got a lot of snacks to finish off on your own lol...I knew Satoshi would have to be brave for Autumn snacks haha
Someone left those crisps at my house after a party and my roommate threw away the box and put them in a bag, so I had no idea what they were. Thank you for solving the mystery Shinichi and Satoshi lol.
Too bad we don't have a trader Joe here, I would love to try the cinnamon bun spread
@TabiEats I would think that Resse's Peanut Butter Cups is in the 甘い過ぎる category. Too sweet for Japanese Audiences. I don't think I could sell Pecan Pie in Japan!😂
Shinichi you would go into a coma with a jar of that spread.
The Reese's shapes are my least favorite, the mini ones are my favorite since they have a thicker chocolate layer 😁 Trader Joe's actually makes a dark chocolate peanut butter cup which is our absolute favorite!
Reese's are my favorite and I never see them in Egypt.
How did they get it there on time with supply chain issues....hmm maybe smaller packages are no problem.
I love Japanese yams charcoal roasted
We have them in San Antonio , but I’ve never been there.
Love Trader Joes! Wish they would come to Australia but our Aldi is part of “Aldi Sud” empire so it will never happen. Trader Joes is part of “Aldi Nord” which have the territory of USA 🙁 ..
Such clever products and generally healthier I think.
Has Satoshi tried Cinnabon? I’m not a big fan of cinnamon as well but I do lovr cinnabon! 😋
i wish i could get trader joes stuff here in Tokyo! 😩
Sitoshi’s look when he was about to eat the cinnamon spread. He faked liking it.
Humble and brave man!
Everything was opened and had some missing :( did they eat some before trying it on video?
Regarding you once lived in PhiladelphiI currently live in the Callowhill area of Philadelphia PA❗️😃🤗
I'm sure the soup would taste even better with kabocha
Shinichi lived in Philadelphia?? That makes me feel like I may have bumped into him at one point in my life 😂 have you ever seen a TH-camr that you feel you've seen before irl? No? Just me being a stan??
Poor Satoshi - you would think after having to eat cinnamon so often he would have started to get used to it 🤪
Trader Joes..BEST STORE EVER..
Was there a recommend serving amount? I'm guessing it could be really great served as a thin layer.
About the cinnamon bun spread.
I'm allergic to cinnamon, so I understand you, Satoshi.
that cinnamon bun spread is already half empty lol!
Do the Japanese do Halloween?
I am in Europe right now and I know what you are saying about The US having to much sugar. I really wish they would just make our snack with less sugar 😔
9:40-9:44 😂😂😂😂😂
Poor Satoshi trying the cinnamon spread xD He really doesn't like cinnamon, huh?
Tell Satoshi to eat more cinnamon and if I ever see nato, I'll buy and eat it all.
I’m surprised that Japan doesn’t have autumnal soups with chestnuts or kabocha squash. I tend to think of Japanese people eating lots of root vegetables.
Coz they have real food there
interesting you guys don't find the ghost chips salty. To me, they remind me most of the flavor of Mcdonald's french fries, only because I haven't had them since I was a kid.

As a cinnamon taste hater, having that amount of the cinnamon bun spread is like a nightmare…
