After originally setting out to mash the two trailers together my mind started to put a story together instead. Hope you enjoyed.
It might look like a simple cut and paste job but behind the scenes I was piecing things together for hours. After sleeping on it things needed to shuffle around for it to make sense. This went on for a few days, working on it in my free time. I could do a breakdown video of the narrative in my head if there is an interest. This is what I do with every franchise I love. Look and start thinking of what may be. I set my mind TO THE TASK and just let it go.

HENRY HAD COME TO SEE US, GOD BE PRAISED!
This is EXCELLENT work.
Really lets you start filling in the gaps and understanding that the story is going to be an EPIC journey. Thanks for all the work in editing. Very much appreciated!
Thank you, I appreciate it! This is but one possibility of many and I can't wait to find out how the story truly unfolds.
Just bought all the DLC (80% off on steam right now) and replaying the first game!
Same thing I did when they did the reveal trailer. I already had the base game but never got the DLC. Less than 10 bucks to complete the package at the time. An amazing value IMHO! KCD2 is a day one game for me for sure.
Just nabbed it on Xbox for the same discount. Gonna play it right before the drop of the new one. Got get back in the story
@@jordantuchek9212 be sure you give yourself some time. It will take you quite a few days to finish it!
I can't wait
Same... Hoping on a release date in a future update. I am going to be needing some time in advance to ask off work. Because this is definitely one of those games.
JESUS CHRIST BE PRAISED.... IVE BEEN WAITING ALONG TIME FOR THIS..
A lot of people have! I always hoped there would be a sequel to this game because it was so good and I just loved the medieval life portrayed in the game.
We got KCD2 spoilers before GTA 6... Let's hope this will be the same case as RDR2 and RDR1. The second product of the franchise will be a major flagship for a game of it's kind. That is, if people can even stand the "tedious" combat (which sold me the game).
@@unfreezedfreezer9455 the combat is supposed to be more user friendly with a quadrant setup versus the previous star setup. I hope it will still be hard however, I don’t want to be steam rolling enemies down the line. In KCD1 I still meet my end due to a mob of robbers when they are wearing light armor and I am in practical full plate.
i cant wait for this game to both frustrate and entertain me like the first one lol great story weavers and ppl who love what there doing
Same. Warhorse has shown they are about creating and they haven’t had to limit themselves this time. They have doubled down and it’s going to be an amazing game, I can feel it!
I had the same problem at first . I started my playtrough in 2019 when it came to gamepass. I made it to neuhof and to the part were henry drinks with the priest. Then the game became confusing and i didnt play it untill i purchaded it again in mid 2022. Played again and got stuck stopped playing untill a few weeks ago . I finally got good at the combat beat ulrich easily and now i can beat up multiple opponents . I cut trough 4 cumans like they were butter. Progressed to the siege now . I loved the whole sasau/ monastery quest line "all that glitters" 9.2/10 game .its really worth it to keep playing
The monastery quest is the one I couldn't stand, Henry served 10 days in jail is all I am saying... Loved the Johanka part of the "A Woman's Lot" DLC though and all the other quests in the area, I also really liked the surrounding area of the monastery and Sassau. Super diverse compared to Talmberg and Rattay.
This game is a gem
KCD1 absolutely was. From what we have seen KCD2 is shaping up to be as good, if not better.
круто, легенда на подходе!
too much cinematic.. I want to see proper gameplay. at least 10 vs 10 fights. I want to see animations, move, flow. Combat is THE most important aspect for me.
I have a feeling that you won’t be disappointed once gamescom hits!
Henry finally learns how to swim!
I wish it was so, but in one of the interviews they alluded to Henry still not being able to swim in KCD2.
Henry reunites with sword? I like it
KCDII wraps up the story of the sword. I hope the ending is open, there is a lot of spicy stuff happening in the years following 1403.
@@TheDutchTexanGames that is the good point, son of Hans Capon led part of hussites, I believe.
I hope the dirt is a little mord forgiving.
Shouldn't be getting filthy ffom just walking down a road.
100%, I hated getting everything clean and then be filthy when I am 10 yards away from the bathhouse! I hope it lasts a bit more this go around.
@TheDutchTexanGames Should only get dirty head if you fall over or have a battle.
It ahould wash off in the rain BUT you should also rust in the rain and require maintenance.
I don't think Henry will get revenge on Markavart Von Aulitz in this one too
We'll have to wait and see. But it is confirmed the story of the sword is coming to an end. And Markvart is a part of that.
OMG Yes!
I can't wait for the actual game to come out. Glad you enjoyed this fan cut trailer. I've done a breakdown of it in this video if you are interested: th-cam.com/video/GCL63raRTts/w-d-xo.html
This game is gonna be killer
It's going to be freakin' awesome!
Pretty cool cut!
I appreciate it. Really can't wait till we see the actual game. And I am hoping for some more trailers too.
I just want a hood on and off toggle button please
@@matthewryan2060 that would be cool! And when the hood is on you become less visible too!
@@TheDutchTexanGames yea. Agreed
Holy shit this looks so good
Right? I can’t wait for the game to come out!
GOTY 2024?
For myself? Absolutely!
Hans Capon ❤
@@renaudmigout9228 I hated him in the beginning of KCD1 but man the story just turns that all around. Some good writing that was!
😮
:)
Please tell me that wasn't Father Godwin! 1:32
I believe not, the armor is similar but father Godwin seems to play a big part in the story here and he is featured throughout the story.
And then there is the fact that people would REVOLT if they showed the end of a character who is loved by many. I mean, his KCD1 quest is legendary if you get completely wasted with him.
I hope it will be no talking simulator like 1
There are 5 hours of cutscenes in the upcoming KCD vs 3 in the previous one so there will be a decent amount of talking for sure. I didn't mind it myself.
What's wrong with having talking and not fighting all the time?
I tried to play the first game but the combat was practically impossible and riding a horse in first person was awful so I stopped and it's a pity I was waiting for a medieval game without wizards and magic.
I can see how that would be the case. But if you stick with it you start to level up. The deck is stacked against you, but the moment you get halfway decent with a bow and practice with Captain Bernard on your sword fighting things get a lot easier. Although for armored opponents maces go bonk and take them down faster. Same goes for axes, they do way more bonk damage than swords and you need that against plate armor. Goes great with the headcracker perk.
I'd really encourage you to try again. The horsemanship gets better too as you level up. I found it awkward in the first scene when you escape Skalitz and ride to Talmberg but after a while it becomes second nature.
KCD2 is overhauling combat for sure, only 4 sides instead of 5. If you really can't work it the second game should make things more fluid for you I hope!
you need to learn the combat mechanics first in order to have some fun out of it thats the point of the game
@@TheDutchTexanGames thanx for the reply maybe I can try again.
@@littlemouse7066no problem! KCD isn't your typical game for sure. But once you get over that learning curve it becomes great and very rewarding to play!
I had the same problem at first but the whole game involves learning the skills as your just a lowly peasant,it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played, stick with it😊
The first one really failed to pull me in. I just kinda floated through until I got bored and then everyone tried to kill me because I jumped off of a bridge. Confused I just gave up.
You never made it past Talmberg? The game is really slow burn in the start but once you get to Rattay it really opens up.
I really like medieval architecture, weapons and landscape though, so it sucked me in pretty quick.
@@TheDutchTexanGamessame with me! I really really love history so i love games like this and Assassin’s creed
@@Due2ce I would often just hang out at a creek in the middle of the woods when taking a break to eat during a gaming session. Or just look at the stars at night. The world feels alive when I play it. And looks amazing too. The second one looks like more of the same! And two maps to boot.
Brother you didnt even finish the prolog😂
Try again and stick with it. Its not the best game i have ever played but its the game i lova the most.
Its so much fun once you " get " it
Talmberg is where the game tests your IQ and let's just say you got an F 😂😂
