Today we limit break the probably most broken weapon in Vampire Survivors, Phieraggi. The title "most broken weapon" is honestly a hard decision, because especially the DLC has added a bunch of insane weapons that can go completly insane with the right Arcana, but I'd argue that Phieraggi doesn't even need them. Since it has a ton of Pierce and attacks 10 times a second, the weapon can hit a ginormous amount of 110 enemies per beam per second (1 base, 10 pierce and that 10 times a second). At 26 beams, that's a maximum of 2860 hits per second on a character that naturally gets 1% Might increase per level up.

You should do a run using gemini and all the weapons it duplicates. Play as cosmo, you’ll get an extra 2 birds.
btw those extra two birds cant be lvled up right? only affected by other passives and arcanas etc?
I believe they get "levelled up" every five levels starting at level 10, up to level 40, where they sadly cannot evolve :(@@fkfkfkfkfkuuuuu
I think they scale with your weapon level ups. Like each time you upgrade the guns or the birds, the gemini counter part also levels up. But I could be wrong

Can you imagine being this hero and feeling all kinds of OP with your super powerful giant beams... but then having all the blood and guts from the enemies you killed spraying you from all sides as they dive into the beams, not caring if they die? xD I look at those dying animations passing through the hero and it's like standing at the output to a wood chipper as a random squirrel dives out of a tree into it: just *BBRRRRTTT!!!* *SPLASH!!* ...with you directly in the line of it.

I showed Vampire Survivor to a friend for the first time yesterday. He loved it. The last thing we did before he went to bed was Limit Breaking Phieraggi. It was hypnotic!

That red gem at 24:16 really flew by it seems, as you didn't level up anymore as it flew by. It dissappeared from sight because it crossed the equator, and silently started its journey to gem-hell, where all naughty gems will end up.
Is there no way to get them? Maybe a second vacuum asap after one flew by? Or do they despawn like enemys?
Edit: The pots severly limited the amount of kills, so they do reduce enemy spawnrate. Or was is because phieraggi can't pierce that often? I don't think so, but i'm also not playing VS, it's just a guess.

Haha nice, i miscounted the damage too. Way earlier, but i saw a 1 in front and some other numbers at the end, so surely it was a hundred-something.
But it was already in the thousands back then, wtf? That's new... i think?

17170 is exactly (as exact as it gets in vs) 5 times the normal damage, but why? Damage was about 3430 before the fight started. Interesting.
Final damage at the end was about 6407.

I would love to see monkey mode doing a live stream also you should try the arcana that increases starting weapon amount by 3 instead of chaos in a dark night

30:51 looking at the damage(while stopping the video and going frame by frame) you seem to deal ~3432 damage(fluctuates a lot)
also I'm pretty sure you had 30 beams(20+6 amount+4 revivals)
That joke you made about the chaos in the dark night arcana got me remembering a recent funny arcana experience of my own:
So, I was playing on my secondary vampire survivor account and I had been out of bounds numerous times before by kinda just ramming against walls and glitching through, if I do this on inlaid or gallo (that's what I've tried) then the reaper doesn't spawn in the out on bounds section, I used this to survive till minute 31 in Gallo, and the arcana unlocked for doing that, is out of bounds. Gave me a good laugh! 😂

I know the weapons have a limit on amount, but not sure on the character itself.
It'll be great seeing more character evolutions and a couple new missions along with it.

Hey Dex, just asking, how sure are you that the previous game limits (like the might limit you mentioned in the video) are still the same in the new engine?
0, because I can't look at the code anymore. The wiki still states it as the maximum, but I can't confirm or deny that. The easiest way would be a test with a heavily egged Pugnala without limit break. Ach you know what, I'll do it quickly.
So I just went for "Buy all Eggs" and didn't rly know how much gold I had, but yea, I ended up with 194k% Might and an average damage of 50 on level 1 guns (it's a range since the game adds -5 and +5 to all damage dealt to make it look less boring).
Phiera (or I guess both guns, but it's the one I am looking at) at level 1 deals 5 damage. 50/5=10, or 1000%. Can't really think of something I am missing.
In the video the stats also made sense, with going past 1000 lvls and 5 damage per base upgrade.
At 1751, we did around 6400 damage. If we divide this by 10, we get 640 base damage, minus 19 from Phieraggi+Revivals (they actually just add 1 base damage) so let's just say 620 for simplicity. Since the damage bonus is only 0.5, we gotta double this in level equivalents, so 1240 0.5 Might bonuses that were needed (note that limit break 0.5 Might is not actually Might, its a power increase on the weapon itself that gets multiplied with character Might).
Since we didn't see any other limit break upgrades anymore, I will assume all got maxed out. This means 900% in Area (the cap is also 1000 there), so 900/2.5=360 level ups, then 200% in 5% Speed, so 40 level ups, and then 16 in Amount and 3 in Pierce, so 419, or let's just say 420 again for simplicity. Adding these 2 values together, we reach a necessary level of 1240+420=1660. Since we ended on 1751, that means we had 1750 level ups, so 90 other level ups. Since I rounded some values this may not end exactly spot on, but let's see.
14 for the weapons, 5 for Empty Tome, 2 for Tiragisu, 5 for Bracer, 5 for Candelabrador, 2 for Duplicator, 8 for Torona (as the 9th one was on stage), 4 for SkullOManiac, 8 for the Silver Ring, 5 for the Badge, 4 for the Crown, 16 for the Guardians Curse items, coming out at 78.
I don't remember if I used some chests for free levels, but I'd say it's close enough that we got all numbers figured out.

Do everything in your power to keep Poe from meeting an unfortunate end. Poe has fallen and cannot get himself out, protect him until Red Death bails you two out!
Any standard, non-secret character is allowed. Poe is allowed to use weapons, but is only allowed to evolve the Garlic.
For clarity's sake: Poe has to hold the Pummerola to evolve it. If you as whatever character you decide to tackle this with pick up Pummerola, Poe can not evolve.
My suggestion thematically is Ol'Sole. Good dog, best friend.

I don't really know which weapon is the most powerful, I just know that their effects buffs each other exponentially. Especially if you manage to get infinite voulge, crimson shroud, vandalier, fuwalafuwaloo, sole solution and ashes of muspell all at once. I can still hear my phone crying from that. Oh, almost forgot the soul eater.

The issue with Clock Lancet is that nothing happens or rather changes.
It only gets duration and there 1 second per upgrade, maxes out at 10 seconds total (including the base stat). And the same for it's evolution. So yea, I don't really see a point in doing that because after a few level ups, it's maxed out and nothing changes anymore
It helps that the character gains infinite might.

I did some math and he had 2.3 million dps per enemy if all the beams were constantly hitting that enemy the reaper had 1.1b hp the total btw if he had 22x more damage his damage would have been rounded to inf

Question. Why does in your video a minute chest contain already a evolution chest?
The 10 minute evolution type of rule is a myth that was never really true. It's just that on some stages, bosses at and after 10 minutes drop evo chests, but even on the very first stage, the first chest (minute 1 bat) can evolve.
I'd really like to see another Spellstrom limit break, The weapon was soo much fun.

Na, I knew that Phieraggi once started will be insane. This is like the 5th or 6th video on it, so I was aware it will be really good. The question or rather fear was how bad the early game will be.
Since each second level up gives 1% Growth and I knew we will get close to level 1k, I didn't care about losing the 15% Growth while gaining a lot more coverage and thus clearing enemies faster. But I didn't expect it to be this crazy

How did you banish so many items at the start of the round, did you banish them before starting?
There's something you can get called seal if you banish enough items in 1 run. Currently there are three seals in the powerups menu with 10 upgrades each. Then, if you go to the collection menu you can click on weapons, passives, and light source drops to seal them from runs. And yes, you can unseal them by clicking again.
The easiest way to banish so many in 1 run is with queen sigma bc she has so many banishes

What's going on with the guardians in the bottom right corner of that room? I noticed last night that some easy to kill guardians kept appearing but only in one spot. Are they supposed to spawn or is this a bug?
