Thanks David, I was tempted to go with grey at the time to hide the windows and fascias but the additional cost wasn't justified plus I'm semi detached and the neighbour has white so I think it worked out OK in the end. Not quite so clean a few years on mind! Thanks for watching 👍
Bit sad you’ve finished because I’ve really enjoyed watching your conversion. I have learnt so much watching your videos and they’ve inspired me to do a few little job around the house myself, thank you! Look forward to watching your next project.
Still the inside to do, plenty more vids to do! Its actually all been finished for ages, just editing and uploading videos I'm behind on. Thanks for watching 👍
You must be so proud of this Pouse. Great work. What an achievement. I've used your videos to guide me through a few jobs around my own house and you've almost inspired me to get off my arse and do some bigger jobs as well! Almost anyway...
I've really enjoyed watching this series, in a way it will be a shame when it ends but I guess not for you after all the hard work. Might have to go back to the start and re-watch. I particularly enjoyed the structural element of the build.
Fantastic achievement. Top job. Like what you did with the hip to dormer conversion on the side, rather than a big gable. It keeps the hip roof strength and still gives you the usable space. Look forward to progressing the inside now.
A hip to gable conversion would have allowed a flat roof rear dormer which would have been much bigger and with hindsight possibly a better option, but it would have been more cost, a bigger build and for my budget this was a nice way to go and in my opinion looks nice outside. Some loft conversions can look quite 'out of place' in my opinion. Thanks for watching 👍
@@POUSEaroundtheHOUSE It does look very elegant and part of the house rather than tack on. Box dormer might have also needed ridge steel or beam. Really like what you are doing.
I have a better camera now since filming this but unfortunately I'm not a videographer of any sort so it's difficult to achieve the quality of other channels without the right knowledge of equipment and editing I guess. I'm more of a point the camera and record kind of guy! Thanks for watching. 👍
@@POUSEaroundtheHOUSE It wasn't in any means a criticism. You're a fantastic craftsman and need more recognition. I think most of the YT Population are drawn in by 4k video and the like, but if they gave you chance, I think your sub-base would multiply 10-fold. Keep up the top work!
Hi there.. I watch all your videos you do a really good job! Learned a lot from your videos. I would love to work with you.. can I ask where are you from?
Did you fit the windows yourself or have someone else do it? Trying to find info on how to fit them UK style casements into timber frames but not coming up with much.
Thanks mate the box ends had me scratching my head!
Grand job Pousey. The white upvc against the black toof looks great. Looking forward to the rest of the inside now!

That's a really neat job. You should do it full time!
I'm too slow for full time, I wouldn't make ant money! Thanks for watching 👍
from the outside its all Done, Just the inside now! its amazing!😊
Thank you 👍

Thanks for the comment, and best of luck with whatever you embark on. It's hard work but worth it in the end....even if it has aged me 10 years!

Glad you enjoyed it, feel free to watch to your hearts content! Thanks for watching 👍
Wow never thought I’d see the day the Pouse house has a finished exterior. A very neat thorough job Pousey you should be proud 💪🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for the kind words 👍
Wow, what a really smart professional job. Loving the shape of the dorma windows. Really gives it that stand out feature.
Thanks for the feedback 👍

Amazing, thanks for making these amazing videos.
No problem, thanks for watching 👍
Nice job, looking forward to seeing the stairs going in 👍
Thanks for the feedback 👍
Someone get this man a proper camera! Your subs would fly up as your content is outstanding!

Never under estimate how quickly 20 years pass when you do not have to touch up something!!
I won't, I'm only too aware how quick the time goes. I looked like a young boy when I started this TH-cam nonsense! Thanks for watching 👍
Hi there.. I watch all your videos you do a really good job! Learned a lot from your videos. I would love to work with you.. can I ask where are you from?
From South Wales but this is just DIY, not my day job. Thanks for the kind words and best of luck.
Good work but I can't see any ventilation at the roof or is it something I missed?

How did you seal between the window and the lead?
Smashing if pouse
Thanks 👍
What brand of tiles are you using?
Cembrit jutland, graphite colour. They are fibre cement slates. Hope that helps 👍
@@POUSEaroundtheHOUSE Yes cheers. Great video. keep it up 👍
Ok😀😬
