I Decided to get myself over to the British Museum, after the well publicised events of hundreds of artefacts going missing.
Once again I go in with naively high hopes given the global prominence of such an institution but it wasn't long before I was bought crashing back to Earth.

So 1000s of cctv cameras are filming them but 1 guy with a camera they have a meltdown.
Someone worked out that every single person that walks in London will be picked up on CCTV at least 70 times.
Thats an irrelevant argument! Everyone gets filmed hundreds times a day the difference is this gets uploaded on to TH-cam which a lot of people rightly or wrongly don't like
And that CCTV image gets Uploaded onto TH-cam when the police wanted to, don't forget.🤔🇬🇧

Instead of bothering with a man filming while standing on a public footpath, they should be protecting what's inside. They were not hired to harass people in public areas.

Back in my 20's I ended up detaining people on a daily basis, and the feedback I
received from my caveman legal team was basically: "Inside good, outside bad.
Outside own all property too, but outside public place, without physical barriers".

Meanwhile, whilst all the security are standing over a man with a camera someone is walking out the back door with the Elgin Marbles.
The more I watch these videos the more I get depressed about what this country has become.

Bad management always shows itself.
You should request the images taken to see how they respond, also make complaints about their behaviour towards you because you were recording. Then go back and see if your complaints were actually dealt with through education of the staff and a change in their behaviour. If not mass audit with further complaints would be the way to! 👍
The scary thing is that come another pandemic/emergency these security/SIA badge holders will be the law and order reps handing out fines. Great video. I like your style.

We are Not a free country. When I was a child there was no security no barriers none of this just strolled in if you fancied a visit. I hate this being governed over normal everyday things. I miss the old days when our movements not scrutinised. I've heard police say on those programmes we will stop that car long way from home???do people not travel the Country to visit family,work because my family certainly do. When did it happen please anyone know,the police paranoia.I hate how it is now 😢it's sad especially for us older people who remember how it was.

Some employee has been raiding the place for years, stealing and selling priceless gems and artifacts all over the world.....has a bank account worth 1.2 million and he gets found out.... and gets the sack? THE SACK FFS! He should be stripped of his assets and doing 15 years in Wandsworth nick. Though the Museum has stated, no matter how much he pleads..... they are not definitely not going to write him a good character and future employment reference as punishment for his crimes.

I very much doubt it, I have made the point in prior videos that I have zero expectations that a security guard will ever get that sentence. Still, it is the maximum sentence none the less

I'm guessing that would be a term added on if security were to get done with something like assault while at work WITHOUT their licence on display?
so what is the max sentence ever handed out for not having sia license on display? I doubt any judge will ever give more than 1 day for a petty offense like that. maybe a small fine..

I've said it before, i'll say it again, the biggest security threat all these companies and institutions have is there choice of security, aka paying a moron/criminal to mind the shop is not recommended.

This is OUR British museum, WHY all the security, it wasnt like that a few years ago....the alarming rate of security placed everywhere only let's you know, we are heading for something dreadful.
