Zane Lowe is such an amazing interviewer! You can tell he is a true fan and friend of Pharrell and is genuinely fascinated and curious about his life. I’m so excited to watch Pharrell continue to soar to new heights. I’m watching the film this weekend with my kid who is getting into music and I wonder how he’s going to take this in. I absolutely admire and adore Pharrell. Such a brilliant use of 50 min. Thank Morgan Neville for trusting and creating! Can’t wait to see your work
Such a harmonious collaboration. I remember an interview where you told the interviewer you weren't going to share how you made your macaroni and yet here we are.
Just finished the movie and looked to see if there was any interview on TH-cam talking about it! Truly a beautiful and very inspiring movie. So glad I took my younger brother so he can maybe appreciate Pharrell as many of us do. Truly one of the all time greats!
From the time ODB's "Got Your Money" dropped in 1999, Pharrell has been a Top 5 most in-demand producer in ALL OF MUSIC for 25 YEARS IN A ROW NOW. There's no other producer in the history of mainstream music that you could say that about.
The Universe is so vast, representation needs to be that massive and diverse. Thank you P and Zane for such a wonderful discussion about equity and the universal tool of Lego 😺 Cheers 🍻

This made me feel a lot better about the Chad and Pharrell dispute. It’s good to see real love from Pharrell for Chad, I genuinely believe that. We love Pharrell and we love Chad, all will work out in due time. Beautiful movie, beautiful story. I’m inspired and it’s time to get back to work ❤
Such a gift. Thank you P for honoring yourself & being a vessel that allows us to see ourselves through your journey in life & music. When we meet one day, we'll share loving warmth😊🙏

It's so interesting you watch the last 3-5 Pharrell interviews on the movie how he repeats most of the same pre-prepared phrases. It makes sense of course but it's interesting to observe how he intertwines the same narrative with unique parts of each moment.
Deffo don’t wanna claim that I have synethesia but the explanation just makes so much sense to me- I never realised people didn’t see colours in numbers, moments in time and sounds tbh😅
This is inspirational and depressing at the same time. Having dreams and haven't realized them yet and questioning whether it will ever come to fruition. Knowing I'm in the way.
I believe that Lego is the Cornerstone of Creativity. It’s something, that helped Humans to shape of what they imagine. They have Dreams, Visions and Ideas that they wanted to make it come true, or in some ways, to tell what it embodies and of what it means as well. We Humans have experienced a lot in our lives, moments that are bad or good, but most importantly, from every perspective of what we lived, or done, we learn from it, and it made us intelligent. And from making progress to life, and that it helped us evolve. We shall never forget, that we learned in Life so far, what our hobby’s are, and even more. So, what I try to say is, we should keep doing things, of what we like, love and help us of what we do, and release our own thoughts of what we think, and rethink of what we really want in life. Thanks!🙏 😊
@@alexmasus5639there’s a lawsuit over the ownership of the name ‘Neptunes’ and what was previously shared between them seems to be questioned. Not sure if it settled between them, but for the last 1-2 years they’ve not been on speaking terms and have not made music under that name since Rosalia, Nigo, and Omar Apollos 2022 projects.
I remember when I was young , the song frontin was a purpley color. When I was about 15 to 16, I realized I had the sound in color condition. I heard the songs I once listened to when I was younger and the songs were the same colors as I perceived them as a child. I remember coming across frontin again, and it was still purple. In the movie, a drum beat came on, and I was like oh ye this song is purple, then pharrell pulled out the song in Lego form and it was purple. I also remember the music video and how o the tv screen there was an orangish color that pops up. That is the color of that swirly sound.
“God, the Universe, whatever you wanna call it…” Naw. God is just fine. The Universe should be looked at as a concierge or an assistant, NOT God Himself.
Shhh. Universe is God, God is the Universe. We don’t always have to make things political or religious based. Just let the moment be without unnecessary noise.
No wonder Pharrell thinks that ideas and inspiration come from the universe. The guy can’t even read music! In my opinion, we generate new ideas and concepts because something gets coded into our subconscious mind after we’ve listened to tons of different music. In other words, it’s just a natural evolution. If someone truly believes that ideas come from the universe and we’re just antennas receiving them, think again. We didn’t have hip-hop or techno in the medieval ages, did we? Or do you think the universe just wasn’t interested in those genres back then?
I love the way Morgan looks at Pharrell when he’s talking. You can tell he admires him so much.
