I had this gig on vhs tape! It was shown on tv back in the day and recording stuff on vhs tape was all you could do then. No you tube or dvds. Loved this song and the entire set. Anyone remember ECT?
Gentleman Rouges was a wonderfully structured song and we used to rave when the boys played this at the Baggott Inn Dublin. Pats guitar Johns vocals and Tommy accented drumming is superb. Mama's Boys are still my favourite Irish band of all time since 1983
@AngryAgain Recorded at the Camden Palace Theatre, London on 20th May 1985 and released on the dvd "Mama Weer All Crazee Now". This was their own gig...not supporting anyone.
Thanks for posting. I remember being a teen in the 80s and recording this song off the radio onto a blank cassette and constantly hearing this tune. I never could seem to find their LPs though, until finally finding Turn It Up in a used bin.
Saw their video for Mama We're All Crazee Now back when it first came out. Just loved it and loved it way more than Quiet Riot's cover. Went out and bought the album and loved it too, especially this song! Unfortunately, they never made it to Canada that I know of. Sound just as good as the album live! Excellent performance!
...and Philo walking out on stage during one of their songs, leaning over John's shoulder and pretending to play the bass......the crowd goes mental... City Hall Cork, 1983.
This band flat out kicks ass!!!
I saw them with the Scorpions in January 1984. They were excellent.
Saw them on this tour....great band.....and this is the best footage I've ever seen.

Isn't that Jimmy DeGrasso on drums here?
They used to play in Milford Inn, Donegal 1983..great times!!
Remember going to The Whitehouse club in Whitehaven to watch em .......…....blew me away!!!!!
Love this song. Still sing these lyrics in my head after nearly 30 years since it was released.
Saw them bit later twice in Switzerland.
R.I.P. Tommy.

Saw them in Terre Haute , Indiana in `84 opening for Ratt. We got kicked out after Mama`s Boys. They kicked ass.
And Pat is still going strong and better than ever!👊
Seen him play and talked to Pat in Letterkenny last year..a real gent!
Excellent live footage. It remains a mystery to me why Mama's Boys didn't get their due recognition. MB's sounding good to me in summer 2020 & beyond.
