I agree but an important clarification if I may. All of the cases in the US were civil litigation. All but one collapsed when the plaintiff recanted or failed to appear. The one case that went to trial was Rapp vs Spacey. It was thrown out of court because the plaintiff was shown to be in a different state at the time of the alleged SA.
With respect to the criminal trial in the UK, the prosecution case was a disaster. In legal circles, there is astonishment that the CPS took the case to trial, and that the judge didn’t dismiss the case before the trial started.
Like so many of these celebrity SA cases, there is huge political pressure to prosecute. The CPS in the UK should be admonished and be subject to litigation for malicious prosecution. None of this means Spacey is a saint or hasn’t hit on multiple young gay guys.

Could you blame him for feeling like a victim in that way and being full cancelled for something that did not happen? For all I know he's a total jerk in real life but anyone would be if they had some a public humiliation that didn't actually happen. What did happen does NOT appear to be anything near the level of what was said about him. I am one who totally boycotted him myself. It is true that we need to closely examine "cancel culture" as it is right now in our society.

I didn't actually hear him deflect or defend his behavior. He just accepted that he did what he did, which I understand was groping and behaving inappropriately with young men. He was found not liable for sexual assault, sexual battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, so I can understand why he wants to put the record straight as to what he did and did not do, which many seem to be confused about. I hear your personal pain and respect that, but maybe it's healthy to remember, even if this is challenging and painful, that abusers are not only abusers but also people with feelings and rights. If we start looking at some people as monsters only, which most people are not, we become morally compromised ourselves in not seeing them as real, complex people. Having said that, I totally understand if you could never trust somebody who has committed egregious abuse.

Thank you for giving Mr spacey a platform. He desevers it after his voice was wrongly robbed from him. Rapp should face jail time for what he’s done! You know, most of these comments reveal how little most of y’all bother to research whatsoever before opening your mouths / typing manically on a keyboard and it shows.
The level of ignorance in this comment section is so telling. Educate yourselves !! Want to comment on this man and what a criminal he is?! Then I suggest you go and comb through the multiple trial transcripts he has now unequivocally WON and seriously, do better.
Not only was mr spacey totally exonerated- they uncovered a corroborated LIE between Rapp and that journalist who broke his “story”.
It’s truly sick what’s happened to him and the lazy people who believe everything MSM media feeds them is even more sad.
At least Cuomo sees what a lack of Justice this has been for this person and extended a platform. As he should.

Given how he has been treated, what an incredibly dignified, humble man. Is he a creepy old gay guy? Almost certainly. Is he a #metoo criminal, no. All these years of a of a supreme talent have been lost.
Until the Rapp civil case was laughably thrown out of court, and being acquitted in the UK by a jury, he remained silent. No Amber Heard style talk show tours. He might be gay but he took it all like a man and he as prevailed.

Proven not guilty in TWO courts, TWO juries from TWO different countries. Only 1 person formally accused Kevin of assault and he was proven to be a fraud in court and had to pay him $40,000.
If that's not the definition of clearing your name, What's does it take? He has to wear a scarlet letter just because he was accused? NONE OF THEM proved it, criminally or civilly. NONE OF THEM.
You guys are uninformed...these aren't my opinions, he's genuinely innocent and that's why he's been coming on shows lately.
He was the victim of a witch-hunt. Was he an aggressive romantic, sleazy even, sure but he didn't assault anyone nor abuse his "power", all of his accusers are aspiring actors.... clearly with agendas.
