you should decorate the track underground as a sewer system, so if someone goes down there for some reason, it looks like just a normal sewer (unless a car drives overtop)

This is genuinely VERY impressive. I would love to make something like this in a proper server... Just, Maybe without all the fancy decoration. Mail systems in minecraft have ALWAYS been a fascination of mine.
A youtuber I used to watch made a mailing system with minecarts and to this day it amazes me. It was a huge inspiration behind making this. So fun that there are other people interested in this too!! 🤠

Lol, on the server that I'm currently playing on I made an automated train network that connects several player bases to spawn through the nether (my own home is about 14k meters from spawn lol).
There's a Central station in the nether that the main line goes through but there's also a branch line that connects to it. It is so fun watching the semaphores rise and lower around the station as trains come in and leave.
Lol, it is completely unnecessary and absolutely frivolous as we've got waystones installed but I wanted a vanity project before I started trying to assemble the ATM Star.

you could have used two framed slabs for the wheels instead of changing the elevation of the road, anyway, I always find it impressive how you can schedule trains automatically, nice video!
I found it odd he didn't think of that since he planned to make the cars out of them to begin with, maybe the texture was odd?

wow we did wait a while but im glad too see an episode today. You can take as long as you want making episodes, it always make us happy when we see a new episode either way. For the road issue, you can put a framed slab under another framed slab for the wheels to be on the road but still in the right place
I know it is a bit late but you could have used invisible buggies and phantom tracks instead of digging every part down under the road. But great video :)

1:54 Errm☝️🤓, if you remember Shalz, you can make bogeys with different types of whells and that way you can make non-whell bogey whic is what you wanted.
But thats useless since there is no Narrow Phantom Rail Track.
6:42 You can have a block in your off-hand and put the Framed Blocks and it will automaticly put that block on the Framed Block.
20:37 The Create Mode has a Drill that uses Water and Lava to work and can dig put 3x3 area if you put needed enchant on, you can put some other enchants to.
About the narrow gauge phantom track - two things: one, phantom track supports bogeys of all gauges so the narrow gauge bogeys can go on them even if it looks like they don't fit, and two, shalz used the narrow gauge because of its reduced turning raidus, but you can make a turn with narrow gauge track and then use the track replace mode on a roller to swap it out for a larger track with the same turn radius.
Create is one of my favorite family of mods/addons. There's just so much you can do with it and it's incredibly pleasing to just see everything move.
This series is always so entertaining and is such an inspiration for me! Cant wait for #9!

Shalz never fails to make me explode into confetti when he releases a video.
i find it much better for your sanity to automate the sanding of rose quartz. all you need is the rose quartz feeding onto a belt with a deployer that has a constant flow of sandpaper fed into it so that everytime quartz passes it gets sanded down. If you do some gear ratios you can get the machine to 256 rpm and it will knock out a stack of rose quartz in like 20 seconds

If you hold a block in your offhand im pretty sure it automatically applies the texture for framed blocks

Yaknow, it didn't strike me until now, but I know realize WHY your videos are so entertaining. They often run a lot like a lot of the TV shows I used to watch. All the "vehicles" this and "motor shops that" and the... oh man, the Mythbusters... A lot of those shows used to run a lot like that. You've got the style down pat! :D
That postal delivery service is just amazing.
22:15 you could have easily used two framed slabs to make the wheels look like they were touching the ground, instead of digging up literally the entire Road😂
Two things about train signals:
- you can Use a wrench on a Train Signal to make it copy whichever signal(s) are in front of it
- there is a texture pack that comes with Steam & Rails that makes open signals Green instead of White, which looks a lot nicer in my opinion (it also makes the colors red, yellow, and green, which fits for traffic lights)
I couldn't have never imagined that at the age of 18 I would start watching minecraft letsplays just like I did 10 years ago but this series has grown to be really interesting, well done.
I've just thought if the bundles come out you could see them as parcels and put stuff in them, then rename them to the address u want, THAT WOULD BE SOO COOL

I like this continuous series with an episode every month or three weeks, it’s a kind reminder that some things just doesn’t need to be daily or weekly and can still be great 👍🏻

Bruh this is SO COOL!
Here’s an idea for the mail system: instead of having to rename all of the items you are mailing to the name of the destination, you could have stamps (named pieces of paper) corresponding to each mailbox and have the same system that only accepts items with a certain name.
Once the mailbox receives a stamp, though, it toggles something that either allows all other items in the truck to flow into the mailbox or causes another kissy kiss block to activate and pull the mailed items out of a different inventory.
I hope that was coherent lol
Want to make your cars move slightly more "Physically Accurate"?
Cars typically steer only with their front wheels, while their rear wheels are fixed. A car with this axle arrangement would rotate around the fixed axle when it turns, rather than the center of mass.
To replicate this with Create, you want to use a single bogey placed under the rear wheels. That's it! Now your car will move as if it has front-wheel steering.
If you place a Single Bogey under the front wheels, it will turn as if it has Rear Axle Steering. This can be useful for some types of heavy/farm machinery.
If you were to place a Single Bogey in the center of the vehicle, it would look like dual-axle steering where the turning of the axles is synchronized.
If you place a Bogey at the front and back axles, it looks like dual-axle steering where they are not synchronized.
Unfortunately, for more complex arrangements such as trailers on trucks we don't have good physically accurate options yet.

5:28 protip: even the framed cube is useful, because you can slap framed blocks with glowstone and they become a light source.

you can asseble cars in the dealership but when you're selling you disassemble and when your friend buy's it you assemble it. This is for your friends dont steal it. you can make a basement you go there and assemble the car and they drive away with their new car. BTW love your videos!

Tip for showing blueprints to the viewers: not only do blueprints store the contents of belts, they also store rotation!
For example, you can have shafts, motors, etc. running the factory at the intended speed, and when you load the blueprint, you will see the belts and other machines move (I don’t know if arms or item launchers will work though)
I always love when people do megaprojects like the Classical centers in Minecraft. Large and Victorian!
Love how the delivery system could be used for large amounts of items using shulker boxes. Instead of naming all the items, you just name the shulker with the items in it

Instead of raising the Street you could simple use 2 coal slabsand put one above the other, the lower is on the upper side of a full block, the upper slab is on the lower side, so it look like a full coal block but it is 1/2 block deeper.
Could work if it is not connected to the street slab.
You can use shulkerboxes as mail envelopes, so you not need to name every item.
Someone: "Hey can i borrow one diamond?"
Shalz: "Sure just wait 4-5 bussiness days for it to be delivered."
Shalz, a tip: you can use the framed hammer to remove a texture from a framed block without breaking it (something I took a while to learn myself...)
Also for the trains delivering for the store, I recommend doing this:
with the train schedules, you can change the max speed after certain stations. However, this means that if you want slow trains in the city, they would have to stop for 0 seconds at a station just outside the city. BUT, with Create steam n rails, you can use "waypoint through station" to go to a station without slowing/stopping at it! very useful for having slow areas on your train lines. (idk maybe you already knew this)

Honestly whatttttt?? This is the most impressive stuff ive seen. So much stuff was done in this episode. Wow shalz
hey that narrow train track machine is actually pretty damn good! I'd add a depot between the funnel and chute to prevent dropped and despawning items (pretty sure that helps FPS and TPS?) but otherwise no real notes. given how slow it is you could probably get away with andeiste funnels and a single drill to make it cheaper for any survival player who isn't like Shalz, but overall it's a solid 8/10! (mainly because of dropped items, which is a big no-no for me)
You should make the sheep the Stress Express colours. White for pickup, because who wouldn't love a blue sheep driving around to people's homes to bring them presents? Make it into server culture

As a factorio veteran, your solution to trains crashing in the mail yard hurts me. Just use chain signals into the yard so they wait until its clear. This way a van can pull into the yard while the other one is unloading/loading.
I'd say the trains are similar enough that you can just watch a factorio train tutorial. I specifically recommend DoshDoshington's video as it just covers basic ideas of each component. Only thing it might fall short on is stations with the same names and train limits. I _think_ you can have the same named stations, but I'm not sure how functional it is in create.
hope next ones coming soon, maybe a way to allow people to get items delivered from the factories like someone ordering some train rails and having the mail trucks go to the factory to get some and have it brought to next to their house.

I have just started my own adventure with the "All the mods 9" mod pack and I am not focused on completing it, but simply on building a large city in the Victorian style, and I wonder if I would be able to make a horse a driver and set it up to look like tthat horse pull the carriage, or to place the horse as a passenger, I need to practice it on creative, your cars inspired me to do this. Nice video
Edit: although it's an interesting idea, I didn't manage to do it, but I discovered that you can ride a horse while driving a train

just wanted to let you know that you can place a block in the gap between the portable item interfaces, and they’ll still work :)
so if you wanted to place another panel on the back of your post vans to hide the interface, you absolutely can

The pieces of tracks where your mail is being loaded/unloaded should be separate pieces of track. That way, you wouldn't have one van waiting at the gate for the other to leave. To do so, you will need to place 2 signals on the same piece of track, one facing in each direction.
