Carowinds four new rides!
Within Aeronautica Landing, high-flying adventures invite thrill seekers to buckle up and test their mettle. Aspiring hovercraft pilots can learn the ropes and maybe bump into a friend at Hover and Dodge, a re-theming of a classic attraction. Gear Spin is a red-hot propulsion engine outfitted for speeding and spinning adventures. Guests will test their G-force tolerance on Gyro Force (opening late spring) and can feel the adrenaline rush of airborne acrobatics on The Airwalker. Race and roll through obstacles on Air Racers. And boarding late spring, Windstar is a choose-your-own hang-gliding adventure.
In addition, Aeronautica Landing will boast two new dining venues, Terminal A and Frequent Fryers. Terminal A allows guests to refuel alongside displays of memorabilia celebrating the Carolinas’ rich aviation history. Modeled after high-end and exclusive sky clubs, Terminal A harkens back to the golden age of air travel when top-tier service and luxury accommodations were the norm. A selection of craft beers and cocktails are available to enjoy in the upbeat lounge and open-air patio. Frequent Fryers, a re-theming of an existing location, presents delicious offerings right in the middle of the airfield. In true aeronautical fashion, the building is located next to the runway entrances to the area.
Aeronautica Landing has new experiences, including Air Racer, Gear Spin, Air Walker, and Gyro Force. These flat-ride, non-coaster attractions promise to celebrate flight as they send guests into the air and over the park. The land is also home to Hover & Dodge, a reimagining of the park's bumper cars.
Carowinds is a popular amusement park located on the border of North Carolina and South Carolina in the United States. The park features a variety of roller coasters, thrill rides, water rides, family rides, and live entertainment. Some of the most popular attractions at Carowinds include the Fury 325 roller coaster, which is one of the tallest and fastest coasters in the world, as well as the Intimidator, the Nighthawk, and the Carolina Cyclone. In addition to rides, Carowinds also offers a variety of dining options, shopping, and other attractions.

Never knew this place existed! Between NC and SC right? This place looks awesome. I like that you got employees involved into the exposition. Food all look delicious. That Air walker would make my head spin. All these plane style rides are fantastic. What an epic park.

The bumper car experience looked really cool. And the food seemed pretty good too... I'd try the pulled pork sliders for sure. And I'm always interested in a brewery! Thanks for this video, I had never heard of this place before.

Wow that was so fast, I feel like I just saw your video when you were telling us the changes! The food looks so good👏🏻 the rides and streets looks so clean and new, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a park that new looking! I would fail that army challenge so fast!💪🏼🚫

We are big fans of the cedar fair parks. Been to kings island, valley fair and cedar point. Some day we will make it to far winds! Great video orientating me to the park!

That’s awesome you got to be there during your its opening of all their new rides. That upside down spinning one I could never do I commend you on that. Bumper cards are more my style when it comes to these theme parks haha. The sky high challenges are actually so unique to a theme park, it’s a nice touch instead of the classic carnival games but still the classic prizes.

Your grand opening celebration here of this new flight-themed area, reminds me of when I visited Carowinds before the park was even built or ever opened. (‘71, ‘72?) They had a small area set up which had a choo choo train & a few other hints of things to come. It was very exciting. Me being 10 years old & all. I remember there was plenty of action growing to build our imagination for what was to come. Pretty cool, huh…

Air Racers.. nope.. I could not ride that lol I would lose my lunch. It looks cool though. I like the paint job on them.
