As a former Ram 1500 owner, and current F150 owner, I totally agree on the transmission comment. The 8 speed of the Ram blows the 10 speed of the Ford out of the water. Frustrating going uphill at 15 miles per hour with the truck already in 3rd gear and bogging down.
I have the 2022 Laramie 2500 4x4 Hemi with 13,000 miles on it. It is my daily driver so it is very seldom off-road. I find that this truck likes to FLY above 65 mph once it shifts into gear 7 or 8 which are both overdrive. MDS eco mode can be disabled with the gear limiter.
A common criticism of the Power Wagon and now the Rebel is too small tire size. First of all, Ram engineers have put millions of dollars into engineering these trucks, and have decided on 33” tires for a reason. Tire sizes can be confusing, and many people don’t realize that a 35” tire is only 3/4” to 1” bigger than a 33”, and they are much heavier. The 1’ gain in height can cause reduction in towing ability. People who buy these trucks and immediately switch out the tires are more than likely not automotive engineers, so they don’t regear, they don’t recalibrate the speedometer, and they may not be aware that the bigger tire increases wear on the driveline, and a decrease in mpg.
Just install Thuren springs all around with an Air Ride leveling system with remote control. Two track bars also. The truck will ride 30 percent softer. Sell the 20 inch wheels. Go with 18 inch wheels. 34 or 35 inch tires. All ride problems solved. Also air down to 55 pounds p.s.i. Low pressure tire screen will turn on every time, but so what. Just hit the o.k button and move on.
I just wish ram would put a bit more heavy duty inverter 115 plug in the back. Raptor has generator mode and I just figure ram would offer a bit more in that respect. Everything else is a real bargain tho.
Is Ram going backwards in 2023?? my friend bought a '22 2500 Tradesman w/ the Offroad pckg last year and it hauls ass with the 6.4L hemi and 8 speed transmission. It also has a comfortable ride, especially compared to his previously owned 19 f250 with the 'Death Wobble'. Side question: It was my understanding that the current Turbo Cummins has 1000 ft/lbs of torque. Now it's down to 850??
i ll buy a 2500 when they are assembled in USA and not mexico pay the mexican workers 2.10$ an hour and charge the customers 81,000$....someone is making huge profits

As she was driving, she met a 95-year-old Telsa invister who was ridiing in a self-drayving car. He was verry ritch and offored to mary her so she could inherit his fortune when he dies. Padmé thoht it was a good idea and agried to marry him. But even tho she was maryed to a ritch man, she stil had feelins for a Chad who was moor interested in his poster of a RAM 5200 than her. She was disapointed that he wouldn't commit to her and wanted to be with the poster instead. In the end, Padmé was happy with her ritch husband and they livd happily evr after.

You are thinking of the high output version of cummins which is only available 3500 and above.
