Love the vintage stuff, these were awesome and you got some solid grades, you asked what you're doing wrong on the 1987 fleer cards? The answer is nothing, they are 30+ year old cards and will be harder to grade a 10 which they should be. Thanks for sharing the video, it really brought me back to my first collecting years!
I just got back 40 junk wax era cards I sent to PSA. I use a loupe and scrutinized every card. They were perfect as I sleeved and top loaded all star cards in the up’s and 90’s many cards were the same as yours. Most 9’s and some 8’s. Only one 10 and it is a fleer rookie Randy Johnson. Very salty about PSA grading my junk wax era cards. They totally control the pop count.
Yes there tuff with 90's stuff sent some 1987 fleer bonds in they were perfect and only got 9 and 8 they were out of factory sets and wax boxes, they are control pop count most of the ten in this stuff is old cases . They let you get one or two tens sometime s but it's hard to pick out the ten if you buy tape and mix them up, I think sometime it's better to buy 8 and 9 stuff that's what I am doing on the 70 stuff it's harder. Thanks for watching 👍
PSA has ruined card collecting. They put things under microscopes to find things human eyes can’t see and devalue the cards. Then you look online and see a PSA 10 with dinged corners.
I started grading to protect my collection got a mouse in the house then my roof leaked it grew on me it put the value up on my collection, not saying it will stay there, I like the raw cards but with a very bad hand I drop things. There always the human thing in grading everybody's eye different even with the microscope a lot of cards get damaged in the sealing of the cards, I look at the card in the slab not the grade. But if you collect raw I was on that side for years ,to me collect what you like not the value, thanks for the comment have a great day.
Yes I agree the1987 are tuff still trying figure out regular fleer and glossy bonds, thank's your for the tip on the back being off center on the rated rookies its always good to hear from another collector. have a great weekend,

The back of the. Rated rookies are all off center, I've had the same issue... super hard to get a 10 on those 87's
