In this video they replace the face of a meta human carácter with a face of someone else anyone have an idea how to do it th-cam.com/video/cZnv9A9QlOY/w-d-xo.html
Hope you like some of the 3d content I've been throwing in. I think its a great way to level up your skillset and make yourself standout. Bunch of Ae and Pr tuts lined up next!
yo please make a tutorial on how to make a full body 3D model with clothes, i would wanna make one for my clothing brand and i know it would be a good tutorial
I tried facegen a few years back, don't know whether it's improved, but back then I thought it was rubbish. If you take off the texture map the model itself has no resemblance. It's a low poly smooth mesh with limited features. It's only the fact it slaps the texture map on that it gives a resemblance, which if you slapped the texture map on any head would give a resemblance because we are looking at the texture map and not so much the facial land marks of the mesh itself. It has no normal map either. To get the best resemblance in metahuman creator your original head has to be as accurate as possible, then create and export a conformed mesh in metahuman identity, export, sculpt, import back. Create metahuman id again but this time choose the create from conformed mesh and use the conformed mesh you imported. It will most likely be facing the wrong direction but that doesn't matter as you don't need the landmarks, you just click create metahuman. The result will be a nearer likeness. You can then go onto improve the likeness in other ways that would take too long for me to highlight here.
It would be great if you drop a tutorial to animating them and add diffrent kinds of textures.exactly like videos on the begining of this tutorial. love you max❤
I USE CC3 its great for custom characters. And also if you're a Reallusion member you get a huge discount from the software. When it first comes out. But this was a great video
My current workflow is FaceGen for the faces, to Daz, to CC3 to get the CC3+ Acculips benefits, to iClone for Animation. If only the iRay Renderer wouldn't crash every couple of frames.
Start to finish create a character and animate it. I would love to learn from my online mentor in more detail bro. can you make a master course that's afforable?
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience as always 💖💯🙏🏽 I'm old school and just sculpt by hand in ZBrush but in case in a pinch I'll def check out some of these options 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Not sure if you have created a video on it yet, but how do you create not just characters but a little world to go with them, eg: What if i wanted to have a cat sitting on a shooting star and a little moving 3D art clip of it travelling through space.
You could either model the world / parts yourself or source them for free from sites like turbosquid. Could also just make the cat 3d and composite the rest in 2d in after effects
I've used cc3 and I agree the picture-based head sculpting is not the best quality. I will have to check out face gen sometime soon much more realistic results.
Great informative video man! I really appreciate it. I really love FaceGen and would definitely make the investment, but I own a Mac. Is there any viable work around with being able to use it on mac, or would it be worth maybe buying an inexpensive windows laptop to generate the FaceGens? Please anyone let me know your thought. Thanks!
I am using Daz Studio and iClone just like you are. If you had to choose between the two of them for animation, which one do you prefer? I use Daz to purchase my models, but haven't used the animation much. How does Daz compare to iClone? thanks for what you are doing! I have subscribed! Mike
I would like to learn more about your method.. thats not to much money.. but for DAZ3d? they have paid options? or what else needs to be purchased there? it comes with hair? the body models? etc.. how we add that?.. then finally after we have model.. how we animate? :) thanks for always sharing!.. appreciate it MAX!!! :)
You said you can copy my settings right here but you waved it around a bit fast, maybe you could have a static image blown up on the screen so it’s easier to read as you keep going

BRILLIANT vid! Thank you so much. Can I ask what your thoughts are on DAZ face transfer vs Facegen?
My current workflow is FaceGen for the faces, to Daz, to CC3 to get the CC3+ Acculips benefits, to iClone for Animation. If only the iRay Renderer wouldn't crash every couple of frames.

Start to finish create a character and animate it. I would love to learn from my online mentor in more detail bro. can you make a master course that's afforable?
