Will we fly or drive home? Travel day from Kentucky to North Carolina

The last day of our bourbon trail trip was originally meant to be spent flying back home…but, the alternator issue threw a wrench in things. The replacement part would not be delivered in time for us to fly back home, so we booked a rental car and took the scenic route! Before figuring out we needed to drive back, we grabbed breakfast at Con Huevos Craves at Falls City Market. Not sure if our sandwich lived up to expectations, but we are always happy to try new things! Our drive back, including a quick lunch at a local deli and a quick shopping trip at the outlet mall, was nice and uneventful. To keep things interesting, we stopped off at Red Ginger Dim Sum & Tapas in Asheville, NC; one of our favorite western NC restaurants. Red Ginger certainly delivered and we enjoyed the shanghai style dumplings, bao buns, and king of the sea roll…can’t wait to visit again!
