Thanks for driving thru our little home town. We see you missed the other half of our little town the lower street it’s just like the upper. My wife and I have lived here over 60 years. We used to have a good little town but it has really changed and when down hill. Can’t believe you drove by our home and didn’t stop ha ha. We watch and love your videos.

My favorite NC mountain town. We ate at the City Drive In last time we visited SP in 2019.
Used to be a booming town, Been lots of big country music stars in that old Carolina building, to many big stars to name. Was called Carolina barn dance. Years ago.
I stayed in Spruce Pine a couple of years ago, and walked from my B&B on a Sunday evening. Everything was closed and saw literally not a single soul in the streets.
We'll be there on June 10th for the Alien Festival. 👽 😊
My husband was born in Spruce Pine.
I like that little town. I love the coffee at the Coffee shop/ deli cant think of the name .

The NC State stocks that stream which runs through the city park with trout. It's been at least 7 years since I have been up there to fish. The town looks even more beat-up than it did back then. I think Spruce Pine tells the real tale of the state of our economy compared to the boastings of our last two Presidents.
