They turned away people from the church. I wanted to have my son baptized 35 yrs ago. The Catholic Priest at Queen of Peace (Fr. Cam)at the time refused to do it because my husband was not Catholic. I found another parish in South Bend, Indiana, St. Anthony's . The wonderful priest at the time there was Father Robert Yaest, who I knew as a child while attending St. John the Baptist. He didn't hesitate for a second and baptized my son!

Father Altman you are in my prayers . When I listen to you I hear righteous anger . You speak the truth. I can hear the love of God in your voice and what you have to say. I do not see this as an attack but rather in the context of a well detailed observation by Father Altman based on documented facts and sadly a particular 'course of conduct'. He never leaves Our Saviour's Side or the Shadow of the Cross and inspires us to do the same for which I am very grateful.

Dear Fr Altman you are a true Father to us! You never cease to open my eyes or shall I say reopen them, because it’s easy to get lulled to sleep with the worldly idea that “love”is being nice and not making waves. Not liking the sin but not ruffling any feathers. I AM angry and have been for a long time because of the vast diabolical disorientation in the Church originating from the top! The best thing we can do, beloved Fr. Altman, is wrap a great Rosary around our fingers and pray for those who are in most need of God's mercy. Let God take over.
