Since this was over a year ago I know you gals have progressed to assessing the situation and obtained better tools. A chain saw was definitely called for in this instance.😊
I love that ya'll are doing this work! The camera was too far from the action the first 16 minutes but I could tell the water flow was better. Keep up the good work!
Hello ladies! The whole time watching, I was willing you to together pull the smaller log from the left, up the bank. It didn’t work…my telepathy is off kilter! 🤣 The red jacket (sorry, don’t know your name) reminded me of a lumberjack on a rolling log on a river. This was fun…thanks for posting and Happy New Year! 🎉🎉🎉
hey, ladies. There is a small battery operated saw that could make life easier for you. check them out . if you go online and type in hand held battery chain saws you will find different ones. I have one and it is great for cutting branches up to 2 to 3 inches thick.
Great video! I subscribed. Can't wait to watch the past videos. Keep doing it your way. Everybody is an expert here. We all know the only true culvert expert is POST 10.
Just subscribed a few days ago❤. After watching some of y’all videos, when the little chain saw you have won’t cut it. Have you thought about a reciprocating saw (all saw). Jim should know what I’m talking about. I have used it on ones like the long skinner tree. It works.
Ladies," Work smarter not harder". Work together to move the big logs . Two rakes on the logs would make them move easier. Where gloves and get a small chain saw.
T.E.A.M Together Everyone Achieves More. I think you are handling goodness knows what is in the water; gloves are a must. From what I have watched you clear a small Chainsaw would be good to use. Battery type, Just a suggestion, not a criticism . Mike UK
Our videos yet to be released have gloves and a chainsaw and skillsaw. If we are out in the middle of nowhere with no trash we sometimes don’t like to wear our gloves. Thanks for the comment uk!
Happy New Year, I enjoy you video's If you ever want to get an electric chainsaw like a small one i would love to help you lady's i do live in Belgium but i would donate to you as i've seen a few videaos that the logs are too big or heavy that you're not able to move them
Thank you for the offer! We actually have one of those and a chainsaw in some later videos coming out soon. The best way to support us is by subscribing to the channel. It helps us with cost we accumulate doing this work! 👍😁
I know this video is a year old at this point and the blockage has likely been removed by now, but from what I can see in the video, this looks like a non-issue to a positive for the stream to me. Blockages caused by trees falling across the water way happen all the time in nature. The deeper water they create can actually be a good thing for fish and other aquatic wildlife too, as it gives them more cover from predators like herons, especially as sticks and other debris pile up behind the blockage. Eventually the water will just go over or around the blockage anyways, like it did here, or something like a storm or rot will cause the blockage to remove itself. At that point, any slit or sediment built up is free to wash away and return the stream to its original course.
You should leave the log in place. It is most likely being used as a travel corridor across the creek by animals.
Great work ladies! On the second day I was hoping you would arrive with a chain saw to get rid of the biggies.
Thank you for the unclogging. ❤❤😊😊
You are so welcome

Hard to believe, 63° here in Pennsylvania on Jan 4th. Enjoy your videos.

Absolutely love how you two gals just dig right into the job!

Love the work you are doing, but I do keep expecting one or other of you ending up in the water!
It will probably happen eventually 😂
@@culvertsandmore You both have incredible balance! I have been very impressed!

Wonderful job ladies. Love your videos 📹. Have you seen any beavers 🦫 😊😊❤️
we have actually seen just for a quick second some beavers at a different location. that video will be coming soon.
@@culvertsandmore that is awesome. Can't wait
Dig under the bigger log to let water undermine the mud.
画角は斜面の上から撮るべきでしたね💦
川のようすがわかりづらいです
お疲れ様です😆🎵🎵
May I suggest a screen on the Upstream side of that culvert
Aloha 🌺🥰
The use of a chainsaw is in order here. It will cut the larger logs in manageable sections to remove the logs from the creek bed.
You girls are working real hard at that but I thought you maybe a come-along would help you out and some cable or chain

Great 👩 power

We have been doing this for a number of years. The ones that need four hands we help each other with.
I saw them help each other numerous times.
Ladies good job

Full of those widowmakers, some of them look like they’re on their last legs are gonna fall over.
Im enjoying your videos 🤍
I love Post 10
The big one dig a treach under it
How can I donate for more equipment and Cameras?
We plan on trying the super thanks feature soon which is one way to donate towards our materials.
All the more I see this even though it's running slow that covered could be pitched a little bit the wrong way

I like the way you worried about leaning your rake on that tree then proceeded to lean on it yourself. 🤕
Grandi donne.

Bring a saw if you’re coming back tomorrow
We went back the next day in the video. Our chainsaw operator was not available this day.
@@culvertsandmore ok will Maybe next time
After removing dead animal carcasses from the creek WHY would you ever go without gloves again?😮
Get a tow roap and pull it out
Hi ladies
Admit it, this just an excuse to play in puddles and mud, 😂😂😂😂😂
Wow that was a close call xx
Yes it was😮
Gloves ladies, never know what u r touching 🤢
This is in the middle of the woods and there was not a stitch of trash in the water. We wear gloves when necessary.
