Aw man, thank you for bringing up the Schism event. They all hated Cyclops for wanting to train the kids for combat only for them to turn around and take 4 untrained kids into battle. Cyclops is the man and I'm glad that he is finally getting written that way. Cyclops needs a mini series where they just delve into him being a bad ass leader.
If I were a professional comic book writer/artist, my dream project would be to do a realistic take on Scott Summers, from his childhood to becoming a bad ass leader.
I read all the X-books throughout the 90s, and I'm just getting back into them. Honestly, it's really weird seeing the direction they've taken "the boy scout" of the X-Men, but I don't hate it. It definitely makes him a more believable character that I have an easier time empathizing with, compared to how he used to be written. I find him much more likable now. He was far too one dimensional in the 90s for someone who had been through so much. At least now you can look at his actions and reactions and see some growth/change in his character (when it's convenient for the writer to include it in the story).
@@rocki_bb Agreed. My love for Cyclops started after The Twelve arc when he was bonded with Apocalypse. After that, his personality was much more stern and it works for him.
@karmabum21 Cyclops finally seeing the reality of who and how Xavier is from day 1 is what made me start to respect him and trust his judgment as a leader. I can relate to the pain of realizing your ideal, the cornerstone you've built your life, isn't just a man; he's a bad man. It's soul-crushing. It completely shifts your paradigm and forces you to re-evaluate EVERYTHING. Scott grew from it in an overall positive way, when it could have completely destroyed him.
I couldn't believe the man who took every teenage girl he could find into battle was giving Cyclops a hard time about wanting to train kids to defend themselves
@kenroycherrington148 I mean I like the idea. But it wasn't well executed. Even when they came to blows, there's only one way a fight between Scott and Logan ends. Scott looks at Logan, and it's over. The guy can obliterate a forest or fleet of sentinels with a glance. Schism had them fighting in an open area with Scott trying to hit Logan with tiny little beams. Ultimate X-Men got this fight right.
On an unrelated note… Beak’s daughter is dying 😭 and Hank can’t make a cure because he’s from the past and doesn’t know present day medicine like the krakoan era.
I think it’s probably from the time in krakoa where he felt everyone got soft and looking at how often they were under siege, it makes sense for him to think they’re past treating them with kiddie gloves 3:16
I think it's more about giving them some autonomy, letting them make the choice for themselves. There's so much that's happened to them that they've had no control over, which I'm sure Wolverine relates to himself. To go or not go is something they can control.
I have theories that are absolutely not going happen, but whatever, I'll say them. 1. The Warden hates mutants because her brother was killed by mutants or a mutant. 2. The Warden's brother was killed, and it turns out that her brother was Graydon Creed, so she is the daughter of Mystique and Sabertooth. 3. The Warden was a victim of Sabertooth, maybe a replacement for that one version of that blonde woman that he was violent to, and it is made to be that Sabertooth SA her, and she had Sabertooth's child and she was so disgusted that she got rid of the kid, or tried to get rid of it and it introduces a brand new child of Sabertooth who is a new threat to the X-Men and the mutant population after the Warden's defeat. Tell me what you all think.
I think comics are too expensive to retread like this. For new readers, put a reference box and keep it moving. It is already hard for so many people to justify buying monthly floppies. I gave up on it at least, so maybe I'm not the target.
Jesus. The character is named Warden Ellis. But clearly this cant be a nod to Warren Ellis, after all Warden Ellis is simply a black woman that is a super bad ass, that wears all white...and is...super smart...hey wait a minute!
Wolverine is trash 🗑️ he’s a mutant that got his metal claws because he didn’t want to a mutant anymore, he kills other mutants for the government, he lusted after another man wife, which he is way older than like be 50 or 60 yrs. He’s whole argument against cyclops using child soldiers was goes he was simping over Jean, dude is 💩 🚿

Long overdue fellow Mutant I agree wholeheartedly!💯📠

Wolverine has almost always been 'cool' with sending kids into combat.
Schism was when he was out of character.
I couldn't believe the man who took every teenage girl he could find into battle was giving Cyclops a hard time about wanting to train kids to defend themselves
@Niall001 AGREED but....I loved when Wolverine vs Cyclops eventually happened!
@kenroycherrington148

Brutal
50 bucks says that that's just an excuse... How difficult is it to get in contact with the Fantastic four or Doctor Strange to get a helping hand ?
I’m calling it Ransom is the warden’s brother.
I wouldn't put it past them making the warden his mother. But I love the brother theory. It fits well.
I just noticed that horse kicking ass next to Beast in that panel.
3:07 Wendy-stay 😂
The relationship between Korina and Scurvy is something we need to have explored further.
Calico the girl I don’t feel is the Mutant. I think it’s the horse.
She's able to empower the horse though...
You said beat the blue Kool-Aid out of him 😂
Thank you for the schism call back!
Cyclops new drip is 🔥
Kool-Aid Man as an alternate universe avatar of Cyttorak is busting through my skull.

Berry blue kool-aid 😂😂😂😂😂
They make Rogue look dirty
1:23 "mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest youtube channel of them all?" ...BLERD!!!!
Hey, can you please make a video on lin lie? I've been playing marvel rivals and would love to know more about the character
Btw, I'm pretty sure Gail confirmed that's Wild Child and not Toad
That's a weird switch for Wolverine.
I thought the shadow figure was Mr. Sinister.
I have theories that are absolutely not going happen, but whatever, I'll say them.

Tell me what you all think.
Since Mystique really wanted a daughter and could never have one I doubt that but the origins have been messed with so much
It looks like a mixture of nimrod and Mr sinister

Half of cyclops team were perceived villains.
So let’s send rogues team.
Cyclops team is ready for the fallout is Rogues, plus freeing Xavier is a nonstarter for him

Cyclops was right again.
Doesn't it look as though the mystery "bad guy" has an arch reactor?
What if Inmate X is really Omega Sentinel?
Maybe he helps her with a secret intimacy mentally
Somebody call PATA
It’s time for a hero to delete hero in these fights
Was that danger's kid
I think it's a form of Nate (x-man).. At least I hope..
0:17 They copied the Marvel vs Capcom legendary poster? Nice.
So hear me out what if the horse is the threat the mutants were warned about it's just been watching and waiting is time
What
This garbage can't even be recycled!😒😠😑
That Wolverine flip-flop BS just sounds like poor editing, the writer not really giving a shit.

I agree with you.
wolverine, storm, and cyclops are the holy trinity of x-men. f**k you!
And you've only touched the surface of his blasphemous behavior!💯📠
